Ahh, hopefully that comment was not being aimed towards me? I'm sure I came across as negative, but you've got to admit I had my reasons. Perhaps my posting style has been changed of late due to rl problems, I dunno. I just said my opinion, which may or may not have been thought of too quickly. Have you been accepted to McMaster's? Thats quite a good school if I'm not mistaken, and I'd strongly consider it if I got a decent scholarship. You plan to be a teacher? You should think about Nippising, Laurier, Western, or York. In Laurier, you can get it done in 4 years as opposed to 5 everywhere else! Gl with that! As for me, I plan to go to..I dunno! Wherever gives me the biggest scholarship I'd assume. Perhaps Waterloo, McMasters, or U of Toronto. Those are my top choices.

I'm about the same as most on the thread! I haven't tried looking for anyone, but have managed to come across a few people here and there that I haven't seen in a while! I actually just recently signed up to Hi5, an online friends network. Its amazing to see how everyone connects, and have found a few long lost friends on there too! But I'm only 15, so I'm not sure if I actually count :lol:

Hey, Well, I know I should have done it sooner, but I've just now thought of it. I've decided to Partition my hard drive, to keep everything safe and organized in their own drives, just in case. However, all my files and programs are installed, so will moving them to a different partition cause them to become inactive? I want to create a partition for my OS, and a partition for my files. So I basically want my OS to be on a separate partition. Along with that, I'm dividing the files into two partitions, one with only My Documents, one with Programs. If I now move all my programs from Local C Disk to my new partition, drive F, will my programs still work? Will everything remain intact/installed? And how would I go about separating my OS from my files, in the means of a partition, using PartitionMagic? Thanks a lot. Bmw

I'm sure its great and all, and your job is a great part of the community, but it just sounds too much like you're bragging, imo. Well I have a simple job at a fast food chain, gotta start somewhere. Right now I'm at about 20 - 30 hours per week. That's all.

Hmm, GSW, surely you mean Wonka went from being uncomfortable about talking about his father, to going and visiting him. As for the house, I think that part worked out well. It was a nice ending to see that everything worked out for the best, kinda like the best of both worlds.

Well based on all other books, Dumbledore seemed like much too wise a Wizard to die the way he did. Thats why everyone thinks there is something more to it, in fact, I am sure there is something that we have not yet been told.

Man...what a book. That was amazing, to say the least. There's now even more theories and possibilities, more than ever before. Is Snape good? What will happen to Malfoy? Who is RAB? Does this leave 3 Horcruxes left? How will Harry defeat the Death Eaters, AND Voldermort? Is Dumbledore dead? Or does he have his own Horcrux? Was it even Dumbledore, or perhaps Snape and Dumbledore used the Polyjuice potion to switch appearances? What could Dumbledore have drank to cause him so much pain? How will the world react? And the list goes on. The book was great, but I hated some parts of the ending. How they filled it with love. BS!!! Harry and Ginny, ok, thats reasonable. But all this Bill and Fleur, Tonks and Lupin nonesense was completely uncalled for, especially for the end of the novel.

^ Lol Korla. I think the keyboard is fairly unattractive honestly, aside from the 1337 keys of course. So I'm assuming the side keys are programmable, just visual hotkeys right? Thats awesome. Other than the amazing keys, the keyboard itself looks kinda ugly. I dunno how they'll manage to make it look nice and sleek, like my keyboard for example (heh) the Lexmark LX300 desktop :wink: Costs less than a mobile phone? But...what does a mobile phone cost? Some cost $0 after rebate and whatnot, so they cost anywhere from like 0 - 300, for the average phone. So the keyboard is less than 300, prob more than 150? Eww. I wouldn't buy one for that price!

Well, I don't usually get in trouble, in fact I can only remember one time where I got into anything worth talking about. I was in grade 7, and it was the last day of school. To make a long story short, I got suspended for a little lunch time shaving cream incident. Was pretty stupid if you ask me. Other than that, no trouble at all. Not even any detentions to talk about! Thats it! :P

Well, I've never had a bad haircut necessarily, all my haircuts have turned out just fine! However, when I was small, my hair was rather...long. Not too long, just maybe halfway down my neck. I guess you could call it the "punk" haircut lol. No wonder now I keep my hair short. In fact, I cut it a few hours ago. If anyone knows, I use a shaver on level 1, which is 3mm. So yeah, its pretty short. Closest you can come in most shaving sets from being bald. Its not bald, but my hair is short enough for it to look good.

And when you do, you have to promise to pay those poor fry guys at Charlies Steakery back! As for me, well I haven't really stole anything, lately. I've stolen once in my life, which I realized afterwards what a mistake it was. I was in grade 5, and we stole a few "Warhammers" from a local store, 40 blocks away. Those things are little metal figures, costing about $20CAD each, and we stole a couple. Got away with it of course, but looking back, it was a really stupid thing to do. Ah, I saw the movie on opening day, but it was just a second option. I saw Fantastic 4 first, then with nothing to do, saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory afterwards. It was a funny movie, but a bit too crazy for my likings. Depp was freaky to say the least. Oompa Loompas were hilarious, and the best part of the movie. However, I didn't enjoy them singing new songs, that just sucked.

Yeah, the first bit is pretty slow. I didn't like how the story kept wandering away from the whole Hogwarts thing, but its ok. I'm on Ch 13 now, and so far the book has been quite informative and surprising! :P

Right now, 10pm EST in Toronto, my book is about 20 minutes away from me, in Mississauga. It'll ship at 12am, but I'll have to wait til after 2pm to start reading, as I have work tomorrow, from 6am - 2pm, unfortunately. I can't wait! So excited for it! Btw, anyone know when it'll come? Like...Amazon has to drop it off somehow, do they just ship at 12am, and drop it off in ur mailbox? Or will they bring it tomorrow morning, at like 9 or something? Anyone know? Just curious!

Ouch, you guys have some bad luck. Azvareth - you hit what's called your "funny bone" and yea, I know, there's really nothing funny about it! It hurts/tingles like crazy even when u lightly bump it. Ouch. As for me, I haven't had any real injuries. Just cuts and bruises, nothing more. Aren't I lucky! :P

So what if you don't like Black XP? Doesn't really matter. I don't like any Windows XP theme either. That's why I, along with a ton of Windows users theme it, using custom programs. So the look is not a worry. Longhorn is supposedly the biggest release of the decade? So I bet we'll all be using it soon, whether we like it or not. I think it'll eventually find its way onto most users computers, just like how XP did. Something different for sure, and I think it'll be great. New features, new capabilities. I'll be out there to get one within the first week for sure.

Yeah, its weird like that. Its EXACTLY the same, except for the screws. It worked with 6 screws in I think it was, then stopped. I took a few more screws out, and it worked fine. So I put the screws back, didnt work. Nothing has changed, except the amount of screws.

Well it turned out both my iPod and Jumpdrive were defective. What are the odds... So my USB problems have been resolved. Power problems now... How do I change this? Tip it font is fine, some websites are fine, others are italic. Google for instance, is italic. MSN Messenger is italic. Hey! Well finally, my new computer has been built. I'm really happy/excited to have done this, and it turned out quite well. However, of course, I am now running into a few problems. It would be greatly appriciated if I could get these sorted out, so I know perhaps what I've done wrong, for next time. 1. Power issues - Sometimes my computer just wont start at all. I turn it on, nothing happens. The CPU fan spins like half a rotation, and stops. No power gets into anything at all. My front power pin cables are in fine, no problems there. I simply unscrewed my motherboard, and it worked fine after that. No problems. I screwed it back in slowly, and it wouldn't work after about the second screw. Whats going on? I can't continue like this running with a loose mobo! 2. USB!! OMG, this is a huge issue for me. I have 10 USB 2.0 Ports. 4 Are in the back mobo, 2 are front, and another 4 are from an add on PCI card. This has frustrated me soo much! My printer works fine on it, so does my wireless keyboard and mouse. My digital cameras also work fine. However, I ran into HUGE issues with my iPod. I plugged it in, and it blew the entire thing. My iPod wouldn't work, had to reset it, and my computer turned off. Just from simply plugging in. I tried all 10 USB ports, it did that with about 3 ports, and just didn't do anything at all with the other 7. Nothing. Plugged in, computer didn't recognize, iPod didn't turn on. On my other computer, it auto recognized the iPod mini. On my laptop, it also auto recognized. But here, it does nothing. My Lexar USB Jumpdrive also does not work. I get the "USB Device Not Recognized" error. Tried all 10 USB ports as well. I've tried rolling back the drivers, uninstalling, etc. In device manager, it tells me it's an unknown device, and no drivers are installed. I connected with Windows Update, nothing. I'm running Windows XP Pro Sp2 btw, all updates are in. I'll see about posting my pics as soon as these problems are resolved. Thanks in advance. Bmw EDIT: Pics are now up on My MSN Space.
