  1. today i got an automatic update from firefox, and now its v 3.0.1. but um..after i update it, everytime i open the window, it opens the window of " firefox has been updated" where its only supposed to appear the first time...anyoneelse got this problem?
  2. This problem has nothing to do with runescape, but it's with a program that i'm using to play with Flight Simulator X. It's an called FDC live cockpit, and it's supposed to be helping me flying the plane. But um...i'm having problem installing it on my vista computer where i want to play it on, but have no problem at all installing it on my laptop which runs on xp... everytime i try to run it, it give me this error shown in the SS: I have already set the program to compatibility mode at windows XP SP2, but it doesn't seems to help at all>.>....... I have looked all over the internet for help but got no luck. This is the last place i might get some help on( even tho tip.it forum is really not designed for flying...). So if you can, help me pls.....
  3. the graphic card must also support windows vista as well ( i dont think any of the early model does..). and WOW @ that CPU... i'm surprised u can run vista on celeron 1.6ghz...
  4. Um...i'm getting this weird thing all of the sudden, starting yesterday. For some reason, my 2 computers which runs on XP (1 dell, 1 HP) decided to stop connecting to the internet. However, my vista PC is connecting perfectly ON THE SAME NETWORK. I tried restart, that didn't work, i tried shut down AVG, that didn't work, i tried shut down zonealarm, and it worked! What was that about?! I mean i've been using zonealarm for over 2 years now and this stuff never happened... :?: so why now? my vista PC is also running zonealarm firewall and it has no problem at all. And the thing is, both of my XP computer stopped working at the same day... it's not just browsers that can't connect, i can't logon MSN, AIM, or download stuff as well. did anyone else experience this problem? this is so weird... how should i fix this? i tried the game mode thing as well, and it didn't work. and my internet lock IS NOT ON, so it should be able to connect. I also tried ping some websites like google and it received full response, but when i open the browser and try to access it, it give me connection not available. help pls...
  5. um....i think a SS on the "msconfig" window would be more helpful than the task manager for start up items. And uhh...you don't really need anything on startup unless its Microsoft related and AV/ firewall or you know you will be using it every time you start up the computer.
  6. hm...that's really weird cuz clearly i never had that kind of problem. I have 2 HD installed on mine too (360Gbx2). When i download something it automatically goes to C, then when i move it to E,( D is Hp system recovery) it moves at 85mb/s and its real fast. That 13mb/s thing only happens when i'm trying to copy something off a disc. and uhh..is this the first time or is it always like that..?
  7. maybe Java isnt properly installed, try that as well.
  8. system restore won't work on solving the virus/spyware, and don't keep restoring it since it will break your hard drive ( like my mom's... lucky its in warranty lol) boot up in safe mode and run Ad-aware, spybot, search&destory, AVG, and Super antispyware after they are all done scanning, and removing, then boot up in normal mode. To me, it's just a pop up AD thing that went into your computer caused by u clicked on some poped AD when visiting some sites... Happened to me before, except it was a website that keeps refreshing itself....
  9. i still recommend that you run a virus scan since it won't really hurt... System restore only restore changes made to the OS, i don't think it will delete the virus, but it may undo the changes that the virus made to your computer
  10. i'm not sure if im understanding ur question correctly but to me it seems like you are trying to install windows live mail( the program) on a MAC computer? I don't think it would work... And uh....i don't think u have to download anything if you are trying to login into ur email account at hotmail.com
  11. i thought the HD thing is still on beta. So maybe bugs are normal.
  12. my laptop got 100GB..only 5GB left after 4 days.... My desktop got 720GB... 200GB left after a month >.> i think i have to look for 1TB hard drive x2 lol instead of 360x2
  13. on some routers there is a function that can block certain computer from accessing the internet like mine. It's supposed to be a parent control function that control children's online time, but it works in this case as well. some people used my internet as well, I set that computer's allowed access time from 12:00am to 12:01am. At that time im sleeping, and he is only allowed to access for one minute lol :D My router is actiontec that came with verizon, but i dont know if your router have the function.
  14. Um....i recently reinstalled windows on my laptop, and of course all the addons i had b4 were gone with firefox.. I got all my other addons back, but i can't seem to find IE tab anymore. It looks like they removed it from the Addon search page. I tried downloading it from download.com but it give me a file thats something like " Windows install install" i have no idea wat that is... I really liked the IE tab since some websites dont support firefox. Anyone know how 2 get it back? ty
  15. i opened the page, downloaded with 1.6MB/s finished it in 20seconds lol...and i love Firefox3....start up in like 3seconds

  17. problem is i don't have time to go out and ask people....im working on all kinds of stuff at this moment...writing report..copying down the answers from the poll, do homework, gluing my project together...zzzz......really dont have spare time to go out door>.>
  18. WOOT! NICE WORK! 5 more to go!! :D
  19. ty!! one down 9 more to go!!!! :P
  20. i got this assignment from my teacher today which is kinda annoying....my teacher ask me to do a poll on about 10 people at least of the following questions. HELP ME OUT HERE PLEASE! JUST 4 QUESTIONS! DO NOT DO RESEARCH BEFORE YOU ANSWER!!! just from your previous knowledge only please!(ex. know it from news or school or whatever. not the last minute research) ok...so the purpose of this poll is to know how many people that live in the world know about the following questions: 1. Why did America invade Afghanistan in 2002? 2. Why did America invade Iraq in 2003? 3. Who is the U.S. military fighting in Iraq today? 4. Who is Osama Bin Laden?(exact heading. EX: you can't write he is a guy, or he is a man or stuff like that) those 4 questions.....they might be kinda stupid but i dont make up the assignment. so please answer them in following form: Age(doesn't has to be exact, for example: 10-20, 20-30, 30-40 etc etc will be good): Answer: Do you watch a lot of news: ok, so there it is. the right answers ill give out after i got the 10+ people. thank you very much for answering and I'll be waiting. :anxious: ok..im done with the poll thanks everyone! this is the offical answer...(however i think US is in Iraq for oil not WMDs since they found none) 1. The Talibans, gov of Afghanistan who refuse to give up Bin Laden after 9/11, Taliban are not Afghani, they invaded in 1994-2003, ruthless and cruel, fundamentalist. 2. Saddam Hussein, Leader of IraQ was believed to have illegal WMDs. 3. The US army is currently fighting the Saddam supporters and the terrorists (but got into a civil war somehow...) 4. Terrist Leader of Al-Qaeda
  21. i didn't find it in both locations..... :?
  22. i installed it today, play for a whie, took a few screenshots...but i cant find them........where are they saved? can anyone play this game before tell me?
  23. but i didn't find where to buy the original game.....i don't see circuit city selling it, didn't see target selling it, didn't see best buy selling it....where else can there be... :-k anyways...another question.....whats the difference between Sims2 pets and Sims2 pet stories??
