I'm not really asking for advice with this post, but I'm just updating my situation. Today is the last day of spring break. Every single day of it I spent most of it with my girl, with 3 nights leaving her house at midnight and last night at 1am. We've gotten incredibly close now. There are no secrets. From around 10 to midnight when her parents went to sleep we'd just put on pandora on the tv and cuddle while talking. Last night I told her I loved her. She said she's been wanting to say it to me to and that she loved me. It's been maybe 2 weeks under 2 months but it's been truly incredible. I just can't believe it finally happened.

Tonight I told my girlfriend I loved her.

Had an amazing day today and no alcohol was involved.

I've been rejected about 13 times until I finally hooked up. You just gotta keep going.

Can anyone explain to me why it's snowing during spring break?

Thought of the day: At least it's not alcohol.

I might be sounding conceited as [bleep] but the last few weeks have really picked up my mood and made me a happier person. It's really weird since I'm on anti-depressants and all, but it's a really nice change than the shitty feeling I've had for the past 6+ months.

I only knew two things after my gf before I approached her on Facebook. Just be friendly.

Gonna go see Oz the great and powerful today with the gf. The relationship feels stable and we've been more connected and chill Also I just confirmed my enrollment to the University of Minnesota Twin Cities! =)))

Yes. As one of experience, my height (5'5'') wasn't very helpful. I don't think it matters any in my current relationship, as my gf is like 5'2'' or so. I've heard many others just say how awkward it would be if their boyfriends were shorter.

Long day. Tennis practice, and then dinner with the girlfriend. She's teaching me how to draw, since she's an artist. Then I had a 9pm psychologist appointment and was told to double my prozac anti depressants from 10mg to 20mg. Fun lol.

Somehow someone logged onto my Facebook from Stanford, California and I don't know how or why. Changed my FB password none the less. I'm careful about internet since I'm not a fool anymore so it's a bit weird.

You know, after six and a half years, I'd never realised that my account is half a year older than yours. It feels weird. I tend to view my early years when I was 14 (bloody 14, I'm 20 now!) in the same way that you'd treat a drunken night out you can't entirely remember the details of, and don't really want to. Back then, I saw students as slightly mythical old creatures with beards who know magic old people secrets. Now *I'm* the one with a beard, but I'm not giving away my secrets. :wink: Oh god, the evil_mumm_ra smiley: :ugeek: I joined Tif when I was 12! I'm 17 now and in last year of high school. This community is really something.

Its complicated but I understand what's going on and I am happy with it. I needed time too. We're working it out in our own pace.

Isn't that the entire purpose of dating? From the way my best friend explained it (she's a woman, most of my friends are), there's a fine line between being able to communicate well before a relationship and building onto that in the relationship.

*gives milk and cookies* There there. You'll find someone else who makes you feel even happier than she did. We didn't break up though. Currently, we're in an area between friends and bf/gf. It's strange to explain. We just both realized that we really need to work on knowing each other on an emotional and mental level so we can communicate better.

So, I was very worried about what happened after she texted me. We met up and walked her neighborhood and talked. We both decided we really were moving way too fast (we started dating a week after we met). We're gonna go back down to good friends and get to know each other better first. Then, we'll probably resume dating. Essentially, we're taking a break. I'm very satisfied with this. It has made me calm and like her even more.
