I went outside once, But everyone was far too busy arguing who's admin and gets to troll who outlining every aspect in the process and twisting words. Anyway, RuneScape is no longer a nice simple relaxing game. They also just got a new CM recently called Mod Rocket who seems quite nice. Let's hope that we're listened to for once...sometime... Also Mod Dean posted that there was a list of serious nerfs to happen sometime soon from this update

Lol @ the kill yourself post and the heart of the cards reference XD Anyhow, bit more of a worry now with those changes happening. The war on their facebook page already those who bashed us for asking "why is nothing being done for 138s" and telling us "adapt or quit" now seem to be having that taken into context themselves. I'm seeing EoC1 lovers hating the changes to EoC2 lol and are now wondering whether to quit because of too many drastic game changes at once :/ Tried to help a ex of mine start RS today. wasted 2hours of my life because all the BE A MEMBER stuff made her wonder if shes going to get spam/negative balance etc but most of all she couldn't finish the tutorial and because I couldn't see what she could I created a acc myself and tried to get up to where she was. That tutorial is probably the single most reason why we lose new players lol. At least Tutorial Island was straight to the point not taking us hours or having to look up guides on how to do especially that glitchy horrible Beta academy one

As opposed to the previous combat system which was about as mind-numbingly boring as the rest of the game. Yea, you know the one we had from day 1 where everyone played Rs without minding it/liking it because it was nice and simple especially for disadvantaged/disabled people? Dunno why you're mentioning this or even here if the whole game is that boring lol. Just do what I do, play other games when not on a break for relaxation and friends in Rs :razz:

I miss it aswell, saw how it's just another console game or any other hacknslash game out there. It's nerfing all veterans/high players by taking our accomplishments away then making them practically useless like prayer. Years ago it was anything to make you play longer, then BE A MEMBER shoved in your face, then the gift of giving everyone stuff. When the good community leaves, the rest of us suffer for it for drastic changes/downdates/broken promises. Samething is happening to Ace of Spades community now sadly when Jagex bought them out. It's so bad even Sallythebutcher from Jagex who is in charge of that project admitted to like-hoarding on fb comments/posts to make it look popular, the hate comes from a community that largely doesn't even know who Jagex is too. /Former 138, nonskiller now nobody.

Horrible, horrible assumption. It was a well known scam that should be obvious to anyone. Many people simply talked about that. But almost everyone agrees it's a good suggestion to allow inventories to be seen. But just because people were able to see past the flimsy, horrible scam does not mean they'd scam people. I'll assume you're talking about the "I bet they do the same" part. That was more of a stab at people who have goes at others because of it. Tip.it I was under the impression since i've been using it since it was released, was a helpful site not one where the people bash each other despite being the internet one would think. But if it's someone like me who does not goto the duel arena at all. How would I know? I've got common sense to look out for stakes like that but considering that most players are younger without the experience of life and stuff like that yet how would they too? Say you are a new player to RS, you create an account and log in. What's the first thing you see? 50% chance a bot will be on your spawn advertising a website for gold yet you wouldn't know why he's advertising it badly maybe he's not english :P Then when you goto GE you see all these people gambling and saying flower games so why not give that a shot it's the first big area you've seen with other people in it. Because most of us who help others pretty much left since Wild/Free trade left then Squealex came into it. The newer generations don't tend to have that much help or advice about these things. When they come to this site i've seen they get bashed for saying what happened even by people who are representing this site/look like they are. Saying that the people who bashed them in the first place might not be as far off as doing that ingame as online we all show who we really are.

Right firstly, if it "was based on your skill, levels and equipment before" and now it is based on "your tier of armour/weps", how is that different to pre eoc, when it "was based on your equipment"? Secondly, "skill", surely the skill now is to not be a derphead, running in against a mage whilst you're using melee. Also known as a degree of logic? Prior to this, you could wreck anyone in melee, given a bit of good luck and a nice venge combo. If you're dying to a bot, you should really walk away from pvp and never return. Calm down lol, You misunderstand I think. In meaning PreEoC having it based on your skill, levels and equipment. I could take down 100 players in Soulwars whilst maging in bandos armour, with sara halo and soulsplit on on standing in melee distance at their grave. That is equipment, 99 mage/def/prayer in levels and skill comes in to thinking of that laughable combo and actually trying it to see it worked very well that the idea was to freeze everyone and/or turn their focus on you while your clan captures the objective. Now it is based off the fact everything is laid out in front of you and it takes a very long time to kill anything without using it's specified weakness. Tier of equipment now, well have a look how the bots are doing at mithril dragons. They'll be fighting bosses next at this rate once the owners figure out that since EoC is made easier for them and with very little loss on death. As for the bot statement. Being a 138 and becoming nerfed to combat 200 requiring 2 easy skills instead of the previous 8... Bots are now combat level 200 aswell very easily. Goto castle wars bank on any world/mithril drags and you will see. I would never bother to try bot because it undermines the point of the game

You haven't mastered abilities as much as you thought then. Enlighten me master yoda, How do I go back to killing 100's in EoC as to what i'm doing wrong now? Getting piled in melee and having to constantly change armour/weps/prayer etc etc tends to put it off while fighting clans :wink: In 3 people I was meaning whilst getting piled by all 3 combat styles that were the same level

From quite a few of peoples posts here having a go at you, I bet they do the same lowlife thing. He's already been scammed in a way regardless of his fault yet you guys have a go at him. Pathetic But seeing inventories in the setup duel screen should be allowed, just wait till it's released in Sof or something :/

I went from being 138 maxed combat nonskiller who could kill 100 players/bots in soulwars without dying now to a lvl 200 which has no recognition whatsoever because he never trained skills and gets 3 kills if lucky before dying in soulwars despite mastering abilities etc etc I don't blame you, nor would I doubt any longtime player who was also nerfed to a newbie Because right now a bloody bot has the same combat level as me

I'll let you in on a lil something I guess. Thou have to say thanks for the feedback as i've had to keep corners of the site stretched and horrible to see what happens and how people react to it. Reason i'm saying this now also is because Jagex know who I am now ^_^ Thou it's actually thanks to all the whining I created it :P Just wish I had more time on my hands to get every peice of content up behind the scenes while noone really took it seriously, most of all Jagex. I posted that link here as a small tester to see what would happen. From all the site stats from over 10,000 views in the short space of 2mths without it being advertised and quite a lot of people emailing me that standing up alone was a good job and to keep going . I decided to continue with it and work on pages behind the scenes while waiting for EoC rush to die down and as quite a bits happened irl. It served it's purpose to see what the trolls would do/think and i'm surprised it didn't get that much negativity from trolls aswell in all honesty. So ill update it whenever I have the time. You can't run a new product/website without a trial run or audience. Stats on the site are quite interesting the amount of time/pages people spend reading even if quite a bit is quickly chucked up and pieced together But I'm happy you have a new website to goto to have a giggle at! :wink: Since i've been playing from 2001, Tip.it has had a great community (An example is this whole thread being up where you can say your own opinion without it being hidden unlike rs forums itself) but the trolls on here especially are above your norm and tell you what they want to hear most of the time. Taking all feedback onboard and seeing what goes wrong where is how you create something slowly that can become successful, it's a pity RS didn't turn out that way now thou :/

The new Dhide would be good if it was as pitch black as the old one. I still don't get whats with the loincloths on armour thou it looks so ugly. Black armour used to look really cool with the long cloth at the front too as it made it look more medievil

You're joking, right? As long as the guy isn't slandering Jagex (and even then they likely won't go after him), it isn't illegal to set up a website complaining about a product. This guy reminds me of half of the other people who whine about Squeal of Fortune. "People who buy spins are terrible. Yes I bought exponentially more spins than the average person would, but I'm different." This player isn't too bright if he thinks that the ultra-rare (note the adjectives) were at a 1/13 chance just because there are 13 slots on the spin wheel. Dunno where you get the idea of how hes trying to look so different in reading that article. Looked to me like someone bought lots of spins and had evidence to back up things. Im guessing quoted part is what you mean by trying to be different?: I do like the part of 1/10k. doubt anyone would think that it's that big a deal compared to seeing 13 slots. Sure it's 13, theres even a wheel that shows the supposed percentage of getting something. I would think it's only pointing out the fact it's over the top. But you've also just done what he was trying to prove from the looks. New players/young ones wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Rereading that sof article, shows more between the lines.

Here's something runescape aggrevated I came across the other day. It was originally members at first and had a login screen for most things and said under maintainence, but when I checked back today it appears to have gone public. Seems to be the biggest rs rant ever.. having a look around the website mainly the complaints section. I used this one. Its in PNG and its pretty clean if using photoshop as you can use the magic wand on the outside and just ctrl+shift+I it. It does have that reflection thou if you want to delete that. It looks dirty around the outside. No idea why but theres no extra pixels that I can find in the PNG lol

Wow! I like your style of drawing :D Theres another new Hivemind game that copies Command and Conquer. Big cheap rip off where you can have up to 1000 players online in the same game and its a cross between RTS and online games where your progress is saved lol
