I wouldn't say there are tons of programmers who can do it. Jagex's update also broke the "private server" community. There is page long discussions on private server forums of people offering their work in order to get their private clients up and working again. Also the robbing a store analogy is comparing apples to oranges. That's like stating I should be subject to the same penalties and judge as the same kind of person whether I rob a store or whether I cheat in a video game. I don't think people realize it, but many people in this world don't have a logical way of thinking. Much like I can't create and artistic materpiece, joe schmoe doesn't understand math, logic, programming, etc. I would also go as far as to say that trying to interface with the client through your own interfaces, and creating an API based on that is not really immorally wrong. EDIT: and why we are talking about legal and illegal hacking, I should remind people that there is a difference between holding someone at gun/knife point to steal directly from a store, and writing a program so that a game you play, plays itself... the reason i resort to such ways of explaining that creating bots is against the law, is due to that some here do not seam to understand it unless you compare it to something we can see outside our computers, you can compare my explanation with that of anti piracy commercials before the movies on dvd, you know the on, "You Wouldn't Steal a Car!". The amount of ppl that can think "logically" is still very big, even if it was as low as 1% which it is not! the amount off ppl that could think logically enough to break the bot nuke if they put effort into learning more about it is more likely to be around 20%, but most of those chose not to, or spend that time actually doing something creative that dose not break old systems, or they have no interest in computers to start with. If you write a bot program for Runescape, you might end up standing next in line to the one who stole from a store. Jagex has been pressing legal actions, and has already won against bots, and I'm sure they will keep going.

Claiming a bot is needed to make this game fun, is for some true, but this game was not intended that way, therefore any form off boting is destroying the game for those who play it as it was meant to be played. Not having time to play dose not justify destroying the game for those who do? He broke the game, he did not create a tool for fixing it. If Jagex wants Rs to be Les grindy, they would make it so. No need to keep trying to justify that, he has himself stated he understand that now and that he made a mistake in creating bots and destroying the game. There are a ton of programmers out there who can break jagex anti-bot systems, claiming someone is brilliant for doing so is once agen wrong. All of us can rob a store if we put our mind to it, so those who do rob stores are not brilliant just for doing so. edit: oh and those talking about the hackers that Microsoft/Google pay for hacking, do so asked by the company, there is a big difference between legal hacking and illegal.

my next one is of a girl, I'm just damn worried about the skin color, something i know i struggled allot with using pencils, so might wait until i got some more colors to mix and play with, but hey, your not going to win anything if you don't risk something :)

I have never before really painted anything, I use lot of pencils but never a brush. well as I currently have so much free time on my hand, I decide to give this a go and expand my skills :) Wola my first water painting, err not so good but wth, i might learn how to, eventually? :P ohh and i need allot of colors.. still playing around.. atm I'm motion tracking trying to add space ship to real live video, unfortunately my real video camera is back at my birth home, so im stuck on that front :/ so I'm not playing around with stuff, learning more about smoke,particles,cloth, modifier,uavs etz for the fun of it. stunning how some of some of the playing around can create things that i fall for. like watching 60000 spheres in different colors fly around in the air, colliding with each other, slowly moving outwards. as for my spaceship, well i find a small problem, and I'm now correcting that problem, unfortunately its taking allot of time as i have to go threw a ton of items 1 by 1 :P here is a render of something i find a bit simple, yet beautiful in a way. playing around with materials creating a glass jar, might put some green liquid inside it ;D

examine: The magical book of the Mage. Now with a green cover. (white, yellow,blue) not sure what color i should choose :D and damn not having enough points for those glowing eyes :)

ranting about free stuff. I could understand if you where p2p and jagex handed out free p2p , but i can not understand the rant from f2p perspective. Good thing they are bringing it back agen, ppl wanting p2p straight away is not a bad thing, f2p can only hold that much being financed by adds, p2p is truly the world i have fallen for, and stayed for.

I don't mind him working for Jagex, but he still has allot to do before i could even consider showing my appreciation, A drug runner can bring down a cartel, but it dose not make him a hero all of a sudden. And I'm sure if he is not good at his job, jagex will get rid of him. We also have no clue on what deal he made with jagex really. Here is for hope the next bot nuke will not forgiven! :geek:

Yes sure cool and all. But why does it have to be mandatory? Why isn't there an option to turn off any or all the x stuff or configure customized click menus and whatnot? Why does it have to be only one way? [Maybe, anyway, regarding customized click menus...] But the x thing really should have the option of turning it off...[and letting you do things at your own speed!] Content addition vs. content replacement: options are good! having options for every small thing would really make this game even harder to update, more code to test and go over. And i don't see why anyone would want to toggle it off, if you like grinding, there is plenty of stuff u can still do, go out there and pick flax :P

1 pray restore/floor would be op. ans seeing as jagex want us to skill more, i think they would prefer you built that altar. an all honesty, its rather silly to sit here and try and come up with what benefits it will give you, we don't have enough hints to speculate on, you might as well try and guess what jagex next skill will be =P

tbh, i don't have hig hopes for it even if it comes out, ther is already many scifi online games out there, planets side 2 (f2p) is on its way now that's something I'm having hig hopes for :) I'm really afraid that even if they resume development, the material already developed will have to be updated to new standards. Guessing Transformers needed some help hitting its deadline.

I like this, letting ppl have a chance of geting to use items that i feel are being horded by ppl that have gain money from boting/ merching/Rares (there is ofc those that have saved up for these items threw painful skilling/killing, just not as many as it should be, due to the price.) (witch i feel is a middle hand taking money from those doing the work.) This game is becoming less and les money/lvl focused, I like it, ofc not removing the concept of lvling total, but simply making it easier/more fun, removing some of the awful need ppl feel for barging. :rolleyes: (this is my opinion, don't troll me about it. :P )
