  1. Belief. I do not believe in absolute truth, what one believes is the truth to that person. Nope, I'm an agnostic. I do not know if there is a higher force and have no way to prove or disprove it for myself.
  2. So then, by your logic it would be justified if Irak started showering the usa with atomic weapons? I woulnt exactly go that far Japan Blatenly Back Stabbed America, No warning or anything, It may be True america invaded Iraw for the wrong reasons, but at least they got a warning And what good is a warning if you can't do anything about it?
  3. Please post any topics regarding games in Video Games & Consoles. As for your question, I used to play it, but that was over a year ago...

  5. We already did. 6 whole freakin' cans. We need more to reach page 10 you know....
  6. Hmmm, at this rate we'll get this thread to page 10 before the lock... \
  7. Harry Potter? :-s How would summoning be related to Harry Potter?
  8. You don't get it. There were only pures at the duel arena around the 50 levels. Everywhere past you got people with insane attack and defense levels fighting it out. Then you get the higher hundreds and most people had quite balanced skills. I don't know why you bring up RSC magic and ranging, but it is quite irrelevant because we are talking about RS2 and STAKING in RS2 at this CURRENT DATE. The fact is, this update doesn't ruin pures, they still got the wilderness. The fact is, this update ruined the people in the middle, the people that made new accounts to get the edge in winning money. The fact is, EVERYONE who staked before got hit, they lost a source of fun, a source of income. And now we got some horrible tournament crap-ola that looks like a grade four designed it. It's funny how you say Sharane doesn't get it, while you are the one who is totally missing the point. It isn't about the pures, it's just a comparison. If say (totally made up numbers) 5% of all accounts became obsolete thanks to the release of rs2 (pures that became obsolete thanks to the change to range and magic) and jagex didn't change it back, why do you think they would change the duel arena update if it made 2% of all accounts obsolete. Note. I am not saying I agree with it, I don't really have an opinion on it, I'm just trying to clarify what I believe Sharane was trying to say...
  9. O rly? Do you know what blizzard did to stop cheaters in diablo 2? They banned whole isp's... -.- Yet. Diablo 2 is still till this day one of the best rpgs out there? Ok... True, but that wasn't the point, I was just trying to say that they both make very bad decisions from time to time and that in that sense blizzard is no better than jagex.

  12. You make it sound like this is something new, it isn't. These scam e-mails have been around for years...
  13. 1. You don't have to contribute anything, the max money your subjects can spent is 75k 2. That depends on how much you want to spent and how much you put in the coffers... If you want to spent the max amount of money everyday, you must make sure there is always 750k present in the coffers. Because everyday 75k is taken out of the coffers (if you have 750k or more in them), I suggest you keep the money at 825k and then replenish it everyday or put more money in it if you don't want to replenish it every day. 3. 825k is better, that way you can be sure they always spent the max if you replenish it once a day. Or you can put in around 1.2 mill and replenish after a week... 4. Why would it be a waste of money, even if you put 3 mill in it and wait a year, your subjects will still have spent a lot of money and you will still get the resources for it. 5. I don't know, sorry.
  14. Heh, I totally forgot to mention one thing, good mods for morrowind... Just incase some people out there still play morrowind, mods make the game, if you can install them correctly. looks at Ragen :P Warning! Better bodies can contain nudity, when installing select the Permanent Underwear version if you mind nudity. Better bodies: Replaces the body textures, which can make a huge difference. http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/V ... ail&id=213 Better heads: Replaces head textures for all races, also the changes the heads of all NPCs. http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/V ... il&id=2735 Real signposts: I know it is small, but attention to detail can really help. This mod changes all signposts ingame so you can actually read what it says by looking at it, instead of reading the tooltip when pointing at it. http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/V ... tail&id=62 Cliff races: I really like this mod, but I can understand why others wouldn't want to change it, since cliff racers are (strangely enough) a large part of the morrowind experience (and I've grown to hate them for it  ). This makes all cliff racers unaggressive (they will become aggressive if you attack them first of course). http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/V ... il&id=1385 Enchantment Colors De-Enhancer: If you don't like the way enchanted equipment looks, you can use this to tone down the plastic look. Unlike other mods like this, with this one you will be able to see if an item is enchanted, it just won't be as notable. http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/V ... il&id=1492 Imperial leader: I haven't had the chance to play around with it, so it could be buggy. This makes becoming Imperial dragon a lot nicer, since you get to boss the imperials around. When you are imperial dragon and talking to a member of the imperial legion, use the command dialogue to start using them as companions. http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/V ... il&id=1498 Atmospheric sound effects: Believe me when I say this makes all the difference, it really enhances the experience, but you might want to skip the mod if you have a slow computer. http://home.wi.rr.com/cairnterrier/#ase Morrowind enhanced: This mod doesn't change anything by itself, but it is needed to play some other mods, most notably, combat enhanced. Unlike other mods, this one comes with a special [Caution: Executable File], which you must run everytime you run morrowind for the dependant mods to work. http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/V ... il&id=2576 Combat enhanced: This is in my opinion a very important mod for morrowind, because it takes some of the boredom out of melee combat (sadly it is still boring, but this mod does really help...). With this mod, every weapon skill (short blade, long blade, blunt weapon, axe, spear, unarmed) gets some combo's, 5 for each skill to be exact. The first combo can be performed at skill level 10, the next at 30, then 50, then 70 and finally the 'Finishing move' combo at 90. I know this is a long description, but hey, this mod deserves it! One of the strangest things in morrowind (imho of course) was different melee attacks. You had the same kind for every weapon: # Slash - Press the attack button while strafing left or right # Thrust - Press the attack button while moving forwards or backwards # Chop - Press the attack button while moving diagonally or standing still This was all fine and dandy, but one of these styles was always the strongest for a certain weapon and thus the only useful one (for combat, not counting for training purposes). With combat enhanced this changes. To illustrate what I mean I will list the combo's for the short blade: Name: Throat Slash Lvl req: 10 Combo Sequence: Chop, Chop, Slash Description: Silences the enemy Name:Slice Lvl req: 30 Combo sequence: Thrust, Thrust, Slash Description: Area attack against the enemies immediately in front of you Name: Dice Lvl req: 50 Combo sequence: Chop, Thrust, Slash, Slash Description: Increases your weaponspeed for a few seconds Name: Puncture Lvl req: 70 Combo sequence: Chop, Thrust, Thrust, Thrust Description: Punctures a vital organ, causing continuous damage Name: Stab Lvl req: 90 Combo sequence: Slash, Chop, Slash, Slash, Thrust Description: Finishing move with a strike straight through the heart There are some other features, like trance and rage. Trance is bullet time (for al those max payne fans), now I know how this sounds, bullet time in morrowind, but it is useful. While in trance, everything is slowed down and your fatigue starts to drain. This feature was implemented to make comboing easier, because it can be annoying trying to make some nice combo's while in the heat of battle. I don't use trance, I have no use for it, but for those who find combo's difficult, it is very useful. The second feature is rage. Rage is basicly trance on steroids... Like with trance, time slows down, but in rage it slows down a lot more, but you are also faster, so while you may be moving at 0.5 speed, enemies will be moving at 0.25 or something like that (just so you know, I made those numbers up). Besides the slowdown, you get another bonus: every hit you make will be a combo, which really helps make those impossible fights easy... Now of course, if it would just drain fatigue rage would be way overpowered, so you have to earn rage. Everytime you hit a combo in combat, your rage counter goes up by one. Every time you enter rage you automaticly lose 25 rage points (you need a minimum of 25 rage points to enter rage) and every second while rage is active you lose one point. These are powerful combo's and because of that the game becomes even easier (Believe me, if you know how to train your character melee combat becomes extremely easy even without combat enhanced). So the developer of combat enhanced implemented another feature. When you run morrowind enhanced[Caution: Executable File], you get some fancy sliders, by which you can alter the hp, strength, agility and magicka of enemies you encounter, as well as changing your own ability to block (these sliders are at 1.00 at default, which means nothing has changed, while the max is 5.00, which means all enemies have 5 times higher of whatever attribute you modified). Believe when I say this can make a whole lot of difference. I still remember when I played two weeks ago and was totally suprised at how difficult morrowind had become, when I finally discovered when I shut down morrowind at the end of the day that I had been playing at 5.00 agility... :wall: Though it will become difficult, it is worth trying, because I had a whole lot of fun running from a Dremora Lord at lvl 22 with lvl 118 heavy armor skill (not being sarcastic, I really did have a good time running away, shooting spells around while trying to levitate and such  ), which brings me to the next mod. Download: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/V ... il&id=2164 Online readme (important): http://www.freewebs.com/aerelorn/Combat%20Enhanced.htm Galsiah's Character Development (GCD): This one can totally transform the way you experience morrowind, for better or for worse. :P This mod basicly does two things, seamless leveling and removing the level cap. Now while you read about this mod, keep in mind that it has been tested a lot (and I do mean a lot) and doesn't really unbalance the game, you will level at a good rate, not too fast and not too slow and going over lvl 100 in a skill is quite a challenge. When I first downloaded this mod and started using it I had no idea what seamless leveling was and was only using it because of the removal of the lvl cap. Now I do know what it means... In a nutshell, leveling as it was done in morrowind is gone. No more resting and leveling, raising skills in a precise order to get the max bonus for when you raise a level, all that is gone. Now if you liked planning ahead exactly how you were going to train your character, what skills to what level at what time, then this is not the mod for you. Levels still exist, but leveling is done differently (I forgot to mention, I mean character levels, not skills levels). Normally, you had to raise your major or minor skills to gain character levels and at every level rise you would award three coins to different atributes to raise them, you could have attribute modifiers (x2 for example) and this meant you had to plan ahead to get a strong character. With GCD, every skill you train (even misc skills), help to raise your attributes. So when you level alchemy, you might suddenly gain one point in intelligence. Every 10 attribute points you gain, you gain one character lvl. When you level up you don't see a special screen or anything, you don't have to rest, it al happens automaticly when you have raised you attributes by 10 points. There is one notable downside, when you level up, the hud disappears, but can easily be brought back by right clicking (or whatever key you use) to go into your inventory etc. If you want to know exactly how everything works, I suggest you read the readme that comes with the mod, it explains everything in far greater detail. http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/V ... il&id=2030 I have more mods, but I'm running out of time here and have to go, maybe I'll post some more mods at a later time if people are interrested.

  18. Dang dude...your just wrong. I mean no one is ever perfect. And people need to fail/fall to learn their errors. Instead of kicking them when their down why not point out their mistake then suggest how to recover. I disagree Mello, because this has nothing to do with the faults of the op... In my opinion the one who is pathetic is you purfishx. I mean, come on, how pathetic do you have to be to criticize others over the internet to proof you are cool, tough or whatever you want to proof. So what if he cried, this just goes to show the 'friend' meant a lot to the op... Now why don't you go deal with your own insecurities somewhere else and not bother the members of tif with it. I think everybody can tell that the "friend" meant something to the thread starter, but that doesn't change anything. It's unhealthy to get that involved with someone that, by the looks of it, the guy barely knew. Plus you just don't admit some things in public. :-X Firstly, how exactly is that unhealthy? I mean, how well do you know your friends (irl), do you really think you know all of their secrets? You can never know everything about someone, so where exactly do you draw the line. And how do you know how involved the op was with his 'friend'? I can only see him saying they pked a lot and split their profits... Secondly, about that last line of yours. Do you think it is something to be ashamed of to cry. Are you afraid to admit you have cried in your life? I've cried, is there something wrong with that? Crying is a normal human response, some do it more than others, does that make them sissies (or whatever term you would like them to use)? People should start seeing they have been influenced way too much by their surroundings, people are way too insecure and afraid they will get laughed at by their peers. I can openly admit to any friend I have that I have cried. Maybe you people should try it too. If you can't tell your friends something like that without them laughing at you, you should realise you don't have very good friends. I agree, life isn't fair, but what kind of lesson do you think you're giving him by saying he is pathetic? That people on the internet are bleeps? There are enough people on tif to give him that lesson, so why not try being a little nicer? As for sympathy. If you don't want to give him sympathy, fine, you don't have to. But if you don't like his thread, or you don't like the fact that he is trying to make people feel sorry for him, don't post on his topic. You have every right to post here, but this is a forum for discussions and such and if you don't have anything to contribute, don't post. Now I realise that his post isn't exactly a discussion, but that doesn't mean you should start insulting him. Just report the post and ignore it. As for pipeelbakan, don't post these kind of topics here. I am sorry to hear about your friend's 'betrayal', but there is a sticky designed for these kind of posts, http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=594522, so post there and not on the general discussion board.

  23. First ontopic: It's really very simple, that buyer was an idiot, nothing more to it. Runescape is full of them, so unfortunately you'll just have to get used to it... Oftopic: Is i me who's stupid? Even though you only forgot to put in a t, that sentence makes it look like you answer your own question. And im Odysseus, son of Laertes, king of ithica and conquerer of troy. Hey me too!
  24. I usually just find it funny to watch people acting like that on Runescape and like others have said, just throw them on ignore. Kind of useless making use of a feature that doesn't work... -.- Rrrrr....
