  1. Yeah, but you must understand that if your str is HIGH enough to hit in the 30s 4 times, then you could have easily hit 25+ 6 or 7 times. Even with the special, D long just barely misses on the DPS.
  2. 500+ views...and little comments make me sad.
  3. It depends on efficiency If you can make more money in the time gained through dropping, then drop. But if you can't, then bank.
  4. But thats not the point. I'm not saying one skillcape is better, how special they are, how much respect the get, or any of that. Do Skillcapes show anything? THats what I am asking.
  5. "Overpriced" is purely point of view.
  6. What if I was using red chinchompas would I use void??? It depends on range level, and enemie's defense. Chompas is very interesting. IF the target is hit, then usually everything will get hit. IF you miss on the target, then you miss on the other hits. So if you've got a high range level, and are attacking something with little defense, then use Void. The damage will be very high. IF you are attacking something with higher defense, or lower range level, use armour that increases accuracy. say 70-80 range on 103 mummies Oh your doing those in Tunnels... I looked at your Stat sig, and your rnage lvl is only 63 according to it. So in that case I would use higher range bonus armour.

  8. But in the end, the question is , do skillcapes show anything? Sure some are more coveted or rare, but it doesn't show anything.
  9. THe reason Bandos is worth so much is because of str bonus. There are rich people out there that just want to achieve the highest hits.
  10. If you want to only deposit clay, use a piece of clay on the table. If you want something, click from the side.
  11. Magic does not need anything better Has anyone every considered that Ice spells has more "range" then ranged? You can just freeze, walk back, and Burst/Blitz/Barrage away. This works with any spells. Although the majority of people use Ice, Shadow and Blood are EXTREMELY helpful. Reducing your opponents attack to 0 is deadly against warriors, and stealing health in Multi-Combat is amazing.
  12. so if i was training on yak's or ogre's, i would use armadyl? It depends on weapon. It increases the strength and accuracy of the weapon. SO if you are using bronze knives or arrows, its best to use Arma anywhere. BUT, if you are using higher level bolts, rune C bow, C bow, or other powerful weapons, then it is best to use Void anywhere. On monsters with really low range defense, some people use Void regardless. So try void at Yaks. If you find you are hitting alot of 0s, use Arma. But if you are hitting fine, use void.
  13. True. But is effort the only thing? Or the amount of fun? This just proves how little if at all they mean naything.
  14. Would you rather have to pay $5 a month period or watch a 10 second ad. Plus, you invest 10 seconds to play a free game.
  15. The "10" refers to damage AND accuracy. It is best used with mroe powerful weapons because it is a percentage of the weapon's power. So with bronze knives, Arma would be better, BUT if you are using a powerful weapon like a rune C bow with powerful bolts, or a powerful arrow(addy+), it is best to use void.
  16. So it is determined by the clicks it takes? But that is exactly why it is repetitious. But everything IS repetitious.
  17. And then you get another task of daggs. Of another task of dust devils. You might get something different, but you are bound to get the same task. Thats why I dont consider it unique. Its just a small circle.
  18. No. F2p does not need it. Yew bow and rune arrows would further overpower range in f2p. Range is byfar the dominant force in f2p. There is no need to reinforce that
  19. But why is those two capes you mentioned harder? IS catching 40k chincompas better then flething like 100k bows?
  20. Why do people hate defense "noobs". They specialize just as anyone else would. Sure, you arn't hitting as much on them, but they arn't hitting as much on you. Thats just like saying "Str noob" or "mage noob" or "range noob"
  21. But in the end, is the difference only the time taken? I don't think there is any skill that really requires "effort". After all, you just sit back, click here and there, maybe eat, if its combat. But it does keep repeating. Its just task after task. Monster after monster. On a way to 99 slayer, you are bound to have had the same tasks tens if not hundreds of times. --- For example, a person is a pastoralist. He has many options - just depending on grazing of his herds or combining grazing with cultivation and trade. Also, he keeps changing the grazing grounds every season. If the herds grazed in the same field throughout the year, that is called repetitious. Every season he moves from one place to another depending on the rainfall. At times his routes are disrupted by unforeseen circumstances (disasters). This creates a different cycle of season movement every year. But, like you, if we just say that pastoralism involves only grazing of herds and moving from one place to another, it makes it sound repetitious from a different point of view. But eventually, every skill IS just grazing at the same spot year after year. Slayer is just alternating between a few. --- The more coveted capes are different, as people who truly like the skill will go for the cape. Getting a 99 in a skill just for the sake of the skillcape is what is being followed by majority of the RS population and Fletching and Cooking provided great options. I provided these reasons in another thread, but Slayer is one skill you enjoy, hardly get bored, make more total experience overall and get some nice drops. Agility capes are very hard to achieve with the average xp at Ape Atoll being 45k/hour. Added to that is that Agility offers no good benefits except run energy after the highest shortcut at some 80-odd level. Fletching has around 42,000 people with 99s. Woodcutting has 24,000 average. Agility has less than 6,000. Note the difference. Thanks.. Lord Shalaj
  22. Which 10 second ad is this? If you don't want to see it, then pay. Just be happy this isn't a game where you MUST pay.
  23. In my opinion, F2P range is BYFAR the most dominant force. It rips mages apart, and even warriors in rune. The thing is that range provides constant, high hits. The only problem is that it lacks k0ability. IF the fight is kept at a DM style, then range would win in any case. Even if the opposition runs, arrows would easily kill them as long as they are not near a safe zone. This is where magic and melee k0s come in.
  24. There are alot of debates out there of which are the "worst" skillcapes. This isn't one of them. Over the months, some skill capes are more coveted or "special" then others. What defines that? Recently, I got my 99 Str cape. At that point I realized, what I did(pc and train) was really no different then say...fletching or cooking. Everything was simple repeated over and over. At PC, it was game after game. AT Zombies, it was kill, loot, recharge prayer, then repeat. Then, that logic could be applied to EVERY skill. Everything in the end is simply repetition. Some are more "buyable" or may seem "easier", but in the end, what is the difference? Does buyablilty affect it? I don't believe so. Even though you spend money and then get the 99, its exactly the same as another skill. A lot of people believe slayer is the only "unique" skill. I really disagree. Although you are killing something different, in the end it is just get task, kill, repeat. Another way to measure is the "rarity" of the cape. If you combine the number of fletching and cooking capes, that is similar to the number of every other skillcape combined. Seeing fletching or cooking capes is not that special, but if you see say, an agility cape, crafting cape, or something uncommon, is that any better? So what I want to discuss is; what makes a skillcape different from each other, if at all.
