  1. argh...my pure just went over level 30 cb, it was under 30 last week :wall:
  2. Full rune + dhide parts + Food...got pked by a huge lvl 100+ clan ~DDaanniiellh
  3. Merchanting definitely makes me a lot of money, I've made 150k in about 5 min once...but i don't really like merchanting. I like making money through skilling. Overall, the most money I get is through: 1. Making Strength Amulets 2. Buying Raw Lobs and Cooking, then reselling 3. Making Steel Bars ~Ddaanniiellh
  4. Mine coal and iron and make steel bars, and then sell them for 550-600ea. Also, fishing lobsters is good for money also, if your fishing is high enough. ~Ddaanniiellh
  5. 10.2 as f2p...wow i play a little too much.
  6. well maybe 5-6 hrs (I think, i've nvr cut that many), depending on how full the world is and how many autoer there are interferring with you cutting.
  7. you could use the money to get your cooking and firemaking to level 99 ~Ddaanniiellh
  8. I'll join, but i would need to make a level 20 account...that might take a little bit of time :-k ~Ddaanniiellh
  9. Well, if you have around 70-80 cb, you can probably go and kill them with lobs. Just bring full rune or whatever the best armor you can use. I killed them around level 85 combat. But overall, i don't think they're worth it for profit. They occassionally drop something worth picking up. ~Ddaanniiellh
  10. Defense will make your combat level go up, no matter what your mage level is, so don't train it. But try training range or melee to get your hp up. ~Ddaanniiellh
  11. I think there is enough, and around perfect the number for f2p. But thats a reason why I like runescape, because of the number of non-combat skills that I could train, compared to certain MMORPGs that are completely based on combat. ~Ddaanniiellh
  12. 67.8 (f2p), wow higher than I thought   ~Ddaanniiellh
  13. On your added on questions, a good level to start on coal would be probably lvl 40 mining, once you get a rune pic, but for it to be effectively fast, probably over level 50. And yews are best after you are past level 70 wc. ~Ddaanniiellh
  14. well depending what you're training on, if you can kill the thing 1 hit, then use the strength amulet, for higher level creatures the power amulets. ~Ddaanniiellh
  15. Well your internet connection might have something to with it, if your internet provider tempoarily disconnects, you might get logged out. Aside from that I can't think about anything else that might log you out. ~Ddaanniiellh
  16. Before I was going to say that the Lesser Demons (Lvl 82) at the end might be a little problemsome depending on the player's level. Also, Melzar occassionally uses magic now, so he can hit a reasonable amount, compared to what he did previously (Only punching). ~Ddaanniiellh
  17. rofl, gotta remember that one  Either way, you could ask it for your birthday or christmas, cause I know my parents wouldn't get it for me no matter how good my grades are (Asian parents... ). ~Ddaanniiellh
  18. The amount of xp you gain for hp is always 1.33 xp per damage you do...so theres no way to keep you from gaining hp xp while training ranging. Maging, however, you can by casting non-combat spells. ~Ddaanniiellh
  19. Nice on the f2p skills! 10/10 When I got over 1000 total in f2p it felt sooo good 8-) ~Ddaanniiellh
  20. They do have ads from some larger companies, like Wizards and Magic the Gathering, which I've seen banners of. But overall your right, if they did have connections with major companies, they could easily pay for the whole game, but i think one of the reasons they don't is because they don't want to get too involved yet in the corporate world, and ruin the game (in a way). ~Ddaanniiellh
  21. Yes, but now you can check how many charges you have left (read this from p2p posts), so the chance of this happening is lower now. ~Ddaanniiellh
  22. Well if you need a saw, hammer, money, and noted logs: You would have 24 spaces left for the unnoted items/planks each time. Meaning it will take you 1110 trips to the bank and sawmill, and since you have to pay him 10k every 10 trips, then you would need 1.11 million. (Note: This is based on info from above, i'm f2p so i wouldn't know how many items you would need) ~Ddaanniiellh
  23. actually he gives 1 xp per 10 damage, which is...1/40 the xp, which is the same as random events creatures ~Ddaanniiellh
  24. It is not true that you will never encounter a mage clan. I have seen them in deep wildy more than enough times. But, if you keep watch on the area around you, if you see a lot of dots coming towards you, simply log out, better to be safe than sorry. Walking along the west side of the wildy is a lot safer when leaving because its not multicombat. But GL getting to 85 mining :) . ~Ddaanniiellh
  25. [Edit] Nevermind, you have 90 range, you should be able to get through easily. ~Ddaanniiellh
