Jad - 9 Hawk - 1 @@@@@@@ Did 3 attempts today. First took hour and 15, second took hour and third took hour as well. Got down to 1hp by Jad in third attempt and spammed brews and switched prayers. Couldn't believe I made it to the end, lol when Jad was falling down I couldn't see his HP bar so I was like: "WTF attack is that@>" Big props to anyone else who gets firecapes, they are fun to get but boy are they annoying.

you have no idea what you are talking about. Ultima online is still running last time i checked, same with diablo 2, everquest, ragnarok online, lineage, i could go on for days. and NONE of these games (with the exception of lineage) has ever had the amount of players runescape has. Runescape isnt going anywhere. I have played all these games and you know what they all have in common? There is always some clown like you spouting how they wont last x years yet they all survive. Nice to be called a clown by someone I've never talked to or heard of. All I am saying is that I just can't see RuneScape going for a lot longer with all the problems going on now and the distractions of other projects like MechScape. But oh well, continue the flame war. :roll:

Won't happen. I doubt Jagex has the capability to make RuneScape last another 5-7 years. If so, then I also doubt the player will still be motivated to get 200m in each and every skill

Uhh am I the only one who is quite satisfied with the content available now? Hell I'd say there is even too much. Back in RuneScape Classic there was plenty of enjoyment from the game - most notably player interaction. Over the years nothing has beaten talking with a great group of players. If there is too much end game content, then the game will be saturated with it. I personally think the BEST alternative would be to re-adjust the level system. Instead of 1.1x xp to the next level, increase it to 1.5x or even 2x the xp. This would deflate all the high levels to say 60-70 and still have huuuuge amounts of room to train to get high levelled equipment and resources which are only available for people who trained considerably hard, making it very elite. It would also mean that 99's would be a far greater accomplishment. Plus, people who have 200m XP in a skill will now benefit much more than someone who has 13.034M in it because they will be exposed to better equipment. Level 99's are great and I think raising it over that to like 140 or 150 would be wrong. But hey, who knows maybe I'm just talking gibberish.

HI MR. LUCK MAN@@ :thumbsup: I think you should stick with the Divine. If you got 800m cash already that should be enough insurance for any new monster drop or skill to come out which you could buy. I'd only consider cashing out on Partyhats if you got enough for a set. What I think would be cool is if you got the most expensive outfit available, never seen one of those. I think it is: Blue Partyhat 3a Plate 3a Legs Ranger Boots Obby Cape Vesta Long Divine SS 3a Ammy Zerker Ring ...anything else I forgot. But you are a hardcore monster hunter, so hold onto that Divine. :thumbup:

There sooo purrrty and shiny though I would prefer a rune defender for killing because I am that stubborn sort of guy who wants to do things the quickest, hence best bonuses. If you got a Divine/Ely SS it is a pretty cool achievement

I always wondered about the rare market in my 7 years playing. I've had my fair share of them and was not away on vacation for the Santa Drop. It seems that people buy rares for the allure of owning it, and they keep trying to upgrade it to a better one. People then try and keep getting richer and richer so they can own more of the item. Many people say they collect them just because they have always wanted to. Yet when the prices go up, people sell their rares for more money. Then they want more so they can get the rare which has gone up in price, thinking owning it will be good because prices increase. Yet prices increase and they sell again, only to go into a cycle of buying it and re-selling it, being very self contained in the purpose of getting more money to own something which will get them more money so they can then sell and get more. It doesn't seem to end. Rares are very interesting items and I love watching them rise and fall and understanding why consumer confidence for them falls and rises. Woop woop :thumbup:
