  1. Alright, thanks.
  2. Well, I have about 1300, which adds up to quite a bit, at least for me. Ok, I'll hold on to the herbs and go buy more seeds. BTW this is for my farming stuff, not for investing/merching.
  3. Oh my, don't go with the MBA. I've had a white polycarbonate MacBook for 2.5 years now, and apart from the horrific graphics card (64mb) and low HD space (60gb) it's been amazing. It's held up great, Light and portable, big trackpad and nice keyboard. Yes it's close, but I'd still go with the MacBook.
  4. Well I was looking at prices for Toadflax herbs today, and saw that they are on their way down... I have quite a few in the bank, should I sell now, or wait? I also saw that Toadflax seeds are going waaay up if that makes any difference.
  5. Hm, I see. I'll take care of it.
  6. Seeing as you care about customer support/quality... thought I'd throw in my opinions as a longtime Mac user. Apart from the rare flub (mighty mouse), all the Mac products that have gone through my household in the past 15 years have worked great. Customer service relations have been great in the few times we've called. It sucks that the only time most people get to use Macs are in schools, because the ones in there are HORRIBLE. Once the schools get around to loading up their crap on there and hooking up the server, the computer just can't take much more. And then you get the kids who carelessly use the computer... it really gives Apple a bad image. Take care of the computer, and it will take care of you. :D
  7. Blender and AC3D are the two most used 3D design application for the flight simulator that I play, X-Plane. Blender is said to be much, much harder to learn, but once you get good at it, it is much faster and can do more things. One of the tutorials linked on our forum is this one. It may be a good place for any one to start. And a note to all- if you find Blender fun and also like aircraft, consider joining the X-Plane community... once you get good with Blender you can easily make a good bit of money from selling your aircraft. ;) If you'd like to make a forum that'd be awesome, I'm very busy this time of year but I'd love to pop in later to get help/share some tips.
  8. Better, but do you have anti-aliasing turned off or something? The edges of that text are uuuuggglllyyy.
  9. This is the biggest reason that I'd have to say no. My time on the moderating team helped me realize that just like tripsis said, the one minute delay helps immensely when you have a user constantly posting new threads that need removing. I'd love to have it increased for those with higher post counts though. :)
  10. Big thanks to both of you for your help in getting those images... the guide has been updated!

Herb farming! Toadflax, ranarr, and snapdragons are the best three to plant. This guide will give you more information.
  12. I'll need a link to a working banner before I can add you to the directory. :) Remember to keep it under 810x250!
  13. I suppose that would be the best way to do it - come down as parallel as possible and land it like you're landing on a runway. That's what his training would have told him to do, and it might just have saved lives. Yep, that's what would likely be done... except he probably got the plane as slow as possible before setting it down, something that isn't done when landing on a runway. Also just found this info on the pilot: The sole fact the he is a glider pilot probably helped immensely in this instance, seeing as that's essentially what he was flying after the engines went out.
  14. Boeing kicks [wagon], that's why! ...except for the fact that it was an Airbus. Anyways... about one minute after takeoff, the pilot reported a "double bird strike" and asked to return to LaGuardia. He was re-directed to a smaller airport, but didn't end up landing there, for unknown circumstances. Likely because he was losing altitude too fast, due to both engines being without power. If anyone's really curious, you'll find the following two links interesting... http://flightaware.com/live/flight/AWE1 ... A/tracklog http://flightaware.com/live/flight/USA1 ... /KLGA/KLGA For the type of plane (low wing, engines under-wing) the pilot (and co-pilot, I might add) did a marvelous job getting the plane down. Last entry says 153kts (176mph) at 300ft, which is slow for a fully loaded aircraft. So obviously the pilot knew what he was doing and was in full control of the aircraft, despite the loss of power... props again to him.
  15. Well heck... I'm only in by two levels but lets see if I can stay on there. Matt91493: P2P
  16. Incorrect... Mac computers have come with a 4 button mouse for at least a year.
  17. Better late than never ;) I'm honestly not getting much. I've resorted to just farming herbs every once in a while, since I've been so focused on runecrafting. When my focus was farming though, I was getting upwards of 100k xp a day, I think. Thanks for stopping by and thank you for your support! Ah ok... Keep Runecrafting, I might catch up to you in Farming one day.
  18. Oh my, it's back. (and yes, I know I'm late) So um... about how many Farming XP are you getting per day? Or are you just Farming every now and then... Just curious, as I'm currently 82 Farm and working my way (slowly) towards 99. Good luck and congratulations on your recent achievements!
  19. I'd suggest you go for a Windows. They're generally considerably cheaper for the same stuff, and you're already used to the Windows interface and whatnot. Only reason I'm still on a Mac is the fact that that's what I've been using for the past... forever, and it's hard to change.
  20. Yes thanks, I'll work on getting something set up for that.
  21. And as result of you finishing it... I'll move it over to General Guides. Great job! EDIT: or not... as you already posted it twice. :| Guess I'll just move it back. Sorry.
