I do 15 willows a day, 4 papayas a day, and a calquat every day and a half. I then do snaps as my herb, and I end up profiting about 100k per day and gaining roughly 75k xp daily. If you have the money, I'd definitely recommend moving up to maple trees, or higher. I always pay the farmers for everything, other farmers say you don't have to but it's up to you. Sometimes the payments can be hard to buy, so keep that in mind.

Well, it got a couple comments on deviantart and a few votes in the landscape competition, so I figure it must be one of my better pieces. Votes don't really tell me why the person chose it, so I'm posting here for feedback... Very slight brightness/contrast adjustment. x3 for the Mac. As Laura said, if you can drop the $200 for the MBP, do. I have a 3 year old MacBook, and it will still run some fairly demanding stuff, even with only 64mb of VRAM... the 9400M will be greatin the MBP.

Can't buy burnt fish on GE just so you know. But you can deliberately burn food by recooking the cooked version. Only with chicken and beef.

I will look into logging my runs once I get home on wednesday. It's been something I've wanted to do for a while anyways. :P

I've also noticed a drop. I've been farming herbs for almost 9 months now, and through that time, I've had obvious streaks of good and bad luck... but over the past week, it seems like the average of dead patches has gone up. I don't have any data or anything, but this is just another incentive to start tracking myself.

Mine grow in 90 mins I'd say 70% of the time. Once you do many days you should find a time that works for you.

One thing I'll always remember about her time in office was when one of our state senators left to work with Obama. The senate dems nominated a new person, she rejected him and nominated her own. Senate dems rejected, they gave her multiple nominations. She rejected, and put up the same person. It went back and forth until she finally accepted a nominee. Was a very childish game on her part, and a violation of the Senate appointment process. I can't wait for 2010.

Usually isn't the problem. Usually, the delays are minor. Lately - recently, that is - it's taking a VERY long time. It's just your luck. I've been farming fruit trees every 24 hours since September, and the slow growing plants have been happening since the beginning. Actually right now I'm doing quite well, haven't had one take over 24 hours in about 2 weeks now. As far as I know, it's just something you have to put up with as a farmer. That's why I do fruit trees every 24 hours instead of 15, as I rarely find them ready after the minimum time.

I have no idea where you got the idea that Farming has to be expensive... ;)

I absolutely hated the skill from level 1 to about 45, but then when I decided to properly train the skill while going for all 50+, I couldn't stop. That was around 9 months ago, since then I've gained over 40 levels in the skill, and am past halfway to 99. I currently get ~70k xp per day, and make a profit of about 100k. When I get 99 I plan to switch to just herbs and make 1m+ per day. Can't wait for than money to roll in. I've always been a horrible money-maker, so this will really open up the opportunity for me to go for more expensive goals.
