  1. What's your computer? I've been looking at upgrading as well but because I have a first gen MacBook (3 yrs old) I don't think it would have good use of all the new features because it's not 64-bit. The previous generation MacBook (aluminum, 2.4Ghz, Nvidia 9400M, 4GB of RAM, and 250GB HDD.) Yours is the one with the Core Duo, right? I'll take a look at some reviews that people have posted about it on theirs. That would be great, thanks alot Laura.

  3. Just keep an eye on your prices and keep updating them to max whenever you get the chance. I buy mine already in the basket, and I get enough to support my willow trees. (15 per day)
  4. You're voting on entries the STAFF made here. The Summer Pie was made by a user :) Are you saying that staff aren't users?

I often type with my left hand while playing with my right, especially when alching.
  6. Thats what I do. Less lag, but more importantly everything is closer together, so I don't have to go moving my mouse all the way across the screen all the time. "Mouse distance" is completely irrelevant, its really easy to turn up the sensitivity of any mouse or touchpad to compensate for the new game size. Sure, but then I always end up clicking on the wrong thing for the next month while I begin to get used to the new sensitivity. Even when I set the sensitivity on my mouse one "notch" higher I miss lots of clicks, especially in tasks that I do often.
  7. *looks at sig* I had some money to throw around, wanted to try one on and see how it looked... yeah.
  8. Read this guide, it will help lots.
  9. Don't forget skilling/community clans.
  10. A couple great guides on Google Docs: viewtopic.php?f=180&t=782319 viewtopic.php?t=745411 Feel free to PM me with any additional questions. :)
  11. Good idea, but I have no idea how to do that :-# I've been working on a farming guide of my own, but after seeing yours and reading that we have mostly the same information, I dropped the project. However, I did have a expansive section in the works on integrating Google docs into farming, and if you are interested, I'd be happy to give you some pointers (or even help write the section) on this. A couple of examples of farming+google docs: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key= ... Og_AlHMDLg http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key= ... 2OWc&hl=en The first one is by troacctid, the second is my personal sheet which I am continually updating/adding on to once I find something else to add. Current features: -Automatically updated GE prices -Profit per day -Profit per day with weekly MTK -Profit to 99 -XP per day -Current XP and level, auto updated -Minutes spent per day -Minutes for 99 -Hours for 99 -Days, weeks, and months until each level -Number of each plant type left for each level I don't want to look like a walking advertisement, but it appears we both enjoy farming and I didn't want to pass up an opportunity to help out a great guide writer. Congratulations on AOW. Well deserved. ;)

The Quire- I love the colors on this, however I think I would like the view pointed downward more... seems like too much was cropped off the bottom. Cathedral Courtyard- I don't see a focal point in this image. Just doesn't work for me. Against A Moody Sky- Great angle, I love how the sky gets lighter the closer it is to you. Thirst For Lemon- Again I don't see much of a focal point, The scratches on the glass make it look like you have a bad lense, and the colors get slightly grainy off to the right. Like Clockwork- Wow. Never seem anything like that before... only thing I might like more is if the focal area was larger.
  14. I've read this book as well, most parts were good but it got a little boring towards the end. I have no clue what I'd choose. Probably some musical instrument, piloting, or drawing.
  15. I do Papayas, Willows, Snapdragons, and Calquats. With MTK, I profit about 250k daily, and gain about 85k xp. I'll link you to my Google spreadsheet- it has more information on my run including: -Automatically updated GE prices -Profit per day -Profit per day with weekly MTK -Profit to 99 -XP per day -Current XP and level, auto updated -Minutes spent per day -Minutes for 99 -Hours for 99 -Days, weeks, and months until each level -Number of each plant type left for each level If you're going to be doing some serious farming, you may want to look into making a spreadsheet of your own.
  16. Just tried to do it myself. Had flax and maples (both for seeds), changed it to fish+coal before withdrawing, but still got my flax, maples and seeds. :| Are you sure the "time of collection" doesn't mean when your subjects collect the resources every day, around midnight? Unless they changed very recently it it should be Talk to advisor > collect resources NO > change settings > talk to advisor > collect resources YES > get whatever you're new settings are I've done it a few times when the most profitable ones change and nvr had a problem I'll confirm this is correct, as of about a week and a half ago.
  17. Not true.
  18. Yep, it happens occasionally. I generally just come back every 24 hours and they are finished growing about 95% of the time.
  19. Read this.
  20. MTK

Kaphias replied to Gandalf14141's topic in Help and Advice
Yep, always keep more than 750k in the coffers. I only restore my percentage once a week (when I collect) and I get about 550k profit weekly.
  21. MTK

The other quest is Royal Trouble. I recommend putting 10 works on raw fish and 5 on coal.

It's my personal one, therefore nobody can edit it... but many people farm like I do, so it's useful for some. Making your own? Check out these two guides: viewtopic.php?f=180&t=782319 viewtopic.php?t=745411

I'll simply link you to my Google Docs spreadsheet... that has most of the information you'll be looking for.
