  2. I've decided to get my charms for 60-70 summoning through slayer, as I find conventional combat boring. Below is the outfit I've used in the past. I have always used Vannaka for my tasks as he is easy to get to. (maybe time to change that, lol.) I have not completed smoking kills so Sumona is not an option. If one master is better than another for charm dropping assignments, I'd like to know. I'm willing to spend up to 6 or 7M on combat stuff/supplies. Thanks.

That is the updated size. The topic doesn't show a recent "last edited by" because the mod who last edited it chose to not show the "last edited by" info.
  4. Hm. Won't be able to get it, I'm running a first-gen MacBook without the newer processor or a 9400M gfx processor. And seeing as I don't have a new computer anywhere in the near future... my next os will likely be 10.7.
  5. Those generally come later in the process. This first round is used to find those who are interested and suitable based on forum history.
  6. All skills 70+ (expected to have by end of June) 20M Firemaking xp (will do in between farming/other skills) All skills 73+/1M xp (will complete all 70+ first) 99 Farming (at current rate I'll get it around September)
  7. I was thinking about that too. I can't believe that we are that large. Rememebr it's only phpbb, not including vbulletin, IPB or whatever other boards are out there. Still nice however way you look at it. 507th overall.
  8. Sorry to hear of your loss bud. I went through something similar earlier this year, and I was able to deal with it by: 1. Talking about him like a normal person, things like "he would have loved that" and what not. 2. Remembering the good times, and him in general. His closest friends put pictures of him on the front of their binders as a daily reminder of what can happen. I found that trying to forget about him/her is not the best way to go about it. That doesn't mean that you should think about him all the time, but don't try your hardest to forget what happened. Always here for ya if you want to chat or something.
  9. I recently built my first computer just over a month ago... took me 4 hours, from boxes of parts to running computer. It's really quite obvious what goes where, the hardest part was the wiring and that was made simple with the included diagram. No suggestions on parts though, other people here know that field much better than I.
  10. I've never liked scanlines because when I scroll up/down on the page, they create an extremely distracting "wave" effect. Maybe it's just my monitor, I dunno. Looking great so far.
  11. If by "two button mouse" you mean having a left and right click... that's exactly what the mighty mouse has, and has had for a couple years now. Yeah, but it's still a single button and you have to lift your left (or right finger) finger to initiate a secondary click, as was my understanding. Which isn't a bad thing, but it's not what most consumers usually conform to. Hm, I'll have to try that out next time I get my hards on one. I generally lift-before-click, so I guess I've never noticed in the few times I've used one.
  12. I own a 3 year old MacBook, and my brother owns a MiniMac which is also 3 years old... from what I've found when using both computers, I'm surprised at how far I can push the graphical capabilities on the computer. And if you buy the one that Laura outlined, I'd have to assume that it would only perform better.

  14. I'm by no means a fan of my current username, but I really don't want to bother switching.
  15. I've always like toadflax because of their cheap seeds, which allows me to buy them by the hundreds or thousands without breaking my bank. If you have a huge pile of cash sitting around, or like buying seeds every few runs, go with snaps. Otherwise, toads. Average harvest per seed is 6.6 herbs. For info on profits, have a look at this guide.

  18. Earlier this month our school board changed the start/end time for the whole district for next year. Current: Elementary: 9:15-3:45 Jr. High: 8:30-3:00 High: 8:00-2:00 New: Elementary: 8:00-2:30 Jr. High: 8:30-3:00 High: 9:15-3:45 I'm simply curious about others start/end time and how you would react by having a change such as we will be having. Especially curious if any high-schoolers here have a similar schedule as to what we will have next year.
  19. Alright, thanks for the info on centering/symmetry. I'll see if I can re crop any of the pictures... if not, I'll try and apply the idea when I get out next. *waits to hear about fringing* The two sunset images were not edited at all. If that is what you mean by post-processing, of course. Thanks. :)
  20. These images (except the two sunset ones) were taken for a lit project. I had seen a photo gallery in town where the photographer's style was to take very simple photos, often with just one object. I attempted to imitate that style in the images below. Although simple, I really like a few of these. I haven't really seem this style here much, so I'll be interested to hear what you all think of it. [hide=Images] [/hide] And the two sunset ones: [hide=Sunsets] [/hide]
  21. I have 99 Firemaking, 99 Cooking, and 90 Farming. Farming will be my next 99, Firemaking was my first. I found Firemaking to be very challenging, and I started feeling like it was more work than fun around level 80. Cooking was much easier, as you don't have to be clicking to get xp. Firemaking is one of the very few skills where you have to be clicking to be obtaining xp. (That's a point I bring up every time this discussion comes around.) Cooking starting feeling like work around level 92, or halfway. Farming is currently a work-in-progress, but up to this point it has been the easiest and cheapest 99 out of the three. Yes, it takes more than twice as long as the other two (depending on your method) but because the time spent is spread out in 10-15 minute increments throughout the day, it seems like much less time, at least to me.
