As stated, this is a fairly pointless topic... the game is pretty much set in England in Medievil times, so the basis of the game is built on real life. Even things like Magic and mythical beasts that people are insisting aren't from real life, just come from fairytales etc - some of the things that we wish we had in real life we can live out on this game. (At least I wish I could perform magic :P )

Actually I've noticed lots of f2pers are very firm about not paying for it... its as if they don't want to get 'sucked into it', so to speak, but I just think of it as a regular cost of having fun, like going the cinema or something. On topic: This would probably be a very good investment for Jagex, miniclip advertising alone was good for them. Unlikely to be honest... in my experience, pures aren't good at winning pest control games because they all attack monsters and portals go left untouched. Just train normally till you reach like 80 combat then join an 80+ clan.
