If god was all loving, then he would not wish for harm to be done to anything. Whether animal or plants. If you love something you care for them. If you care for them you would not wish for them to be hurt. And because he wishes sacrifice, he is not all loving. so again, god isn't all loving and all knowing etc.

Well, according to Christianity, he died for our sins, so that self-sacrifice was kinda considered necessary by both God and Jesus. 1) he should, since he created it. Besides, he is supposedly all loving, that isn't limited to just living animals you know. 2)We won't need to learn- there's no way anything would happen to us. we can still have fun, free will etc. Just without any consequences. 3)he died to forgive our sins. god could of done that without his son dying.

Didn't the egyptians think that certain gods were certain genders? Anyway, I do believe in god, but he isn't the all powerful, all loving and all-knowing god that most christians (like myself) Believe in. because if he was then: 1) He wouldn't allow humans to exist, knowing the planet would be wrecked if he did. 2) nothing bad would ever happen to us - no deaths, no pain, no disabilities. 3) he would never let his son, Jesus Christ, die. these topics normally rely on beliefs more than facts. Beliefs are much harder to argue against because some have an adapted version of thier religion (like me). in which case, it is a case of trying to persuade. I hate doing that. if you do find a way to argue against my point, don't expect an argument back/

you might think so, But i wish to know if scone or skon is what most would pronounce the word. So it has a point. On topic yes gone is not pronounced gown. is it me, or is this english much more complicated than I first thought?

Note: to make it easier to understand, most words on this thread will be posted as how they sound. No I do not spell scone as skon. Right, so me and my friend was arguing today about which is the right way of saying Scone. I said Scone, he said Skon. His argument was that the northern part of england was where the first Englishmen originated from. So that because the northerners speak like that, the correect term is Skon. However, i argued that he did not apply that way of speaking to words which are spelt similer - e.g Phone as phon, alone as alon, bone as bon etc. So Saying scone would be much more logical. i however, have no idea if that is actually how northerners say them. if they do, then that puts this whole argument on it's head. i also stated that the spelling of scone means that it should be pronounced as scone because there is an e on the end. Eventually we got the whole class debating. With the majority of the class saying scone. Yay I won! \ *Ahem* So what do you say? Do you say Scone or Skon? If you say Skon, do you say Phon, bon etc? Post your thoughts and comments.

It depends on what they did. If they killed someone then, no, revenge is stupid. if they steal from someone, again, quite silly. But if it's something really small then revenge is ok. for example i always annoy those who annoy me. Simple as that.

Does he read anything about transexualism? Have you talked to him about it or has he been open to hear it at all? I'm suspecting not. I find the fact that he would judge you in such a harsh way without willing to understand disgusting. He's your father. He's supposed to hear you out and be empathetic and compassionate. He's probably just as stressed Serephurus. He's not happy about her being a transexual. Then it seems the world is turning against him and he keeps seeing other transexuals. It's a pretty frustrating situation. I completely understand how he reacted. And calling him a hateful bigot isn't going to win you points on his good side is it. Try to make him understand. don't be some kind of rebel and repeatedly act female on purpose. that will just make them angrier. i'm not saying give up, just don't go against your parents too much. And the friendship thing was possibly over harsh. She definetely needs to be punished, but expulsion or suspension is way beyond what i'd expect. Bullying at my school doesn't come close to that. She probably had an exterier reason for leaking the information. Unless of course she told loads of people. She probably told someone she could trust, who then betrayed her. Though i don't the details so i can't really comment.

Gotta agree with Reb here. Face it, Ash was going to help her install the turbo, then Missi comes along. Ash is now with her all the time, and barely ever around Em. And as for her dressing like that, well she wants to try attract Ash, and knows how he(she) thinks. I would have thought most would have realised that, i know i did. But now that Emily accidentaly went and flirted with him. i Wonder what she'll do. I'm thinking along the lines of "get ash jealous by dating the car guy." Well, super smash bros melee is really good. And if you like a good strtegy game go for fire emblem path of radience. Zelda, sonic and mario games are always reliable though. (if your a fan of the series)

I think sony as a whole is a rubbish gaming company. Not only do they lack many decent games (there are a few whom i found enjoyable), but they don't have much of a series which comes with the console. The series they do have, however, are usually on other consoles with a different name. I'm a big nintendo fan and have got a nintendo wii, and have played an Xbox 360. After looking at the consoles sony have really no ideas of thier own. The PSP idea was made from the success of the nintendo game-boys. And i'm sure there are tons of other idea snatching. (There was something at the end about it) Both microsoft and nintendo are better than sony. This proven by the current third-place position in the next-generation of gaming race. All it seems is that the graphics are a little better. There are other changes but nothing major (in my opinion). I know gamecube wasn't as successful as the others, but to me nintendo have the best games. So it doesn't matter. Plus Nintendo is much cheaper.

I definetely think there is more life out there. It's probably smarter than us, since humans in general are quite stupid. But over all, the chance of there not being any alien life out there is so remote I'll bet my life savings that there is some out there. Whether we find out about them or not is a different story.

I believe That testing for drugs is ok. But not cosmetics. We don't really need cosmetics. But drugs are vital for our survival. But what i don't like is people hunting animals. Whether for fun, which is just plain horrid. Or for the sake of a farm etc. In which case it is for the farmers convenience. Which, again in my opinion, is wrong. however, eating meat is Alright. Although i would prefer free range meats - i always choose free-range eggs- If there bred to be slaughtered i see nothing wrong with it. They're going to be killed anyway. Animal testing or killing for the sake of survival is Good. But Animal testing or killing for convenience or for fun is bad.

if you honestly think ice makes an ice age then your sadly mistaken. An ice age occurs when the planet is covered in ice. ou don't need ice to get more ice. you just need water. And there's plenty of water.

I don't really care about who won. But i'd preffered Alonso winning rather than Raikonnen. I just like mclaren better than Ferrari. I usually go for the underdogs. Though i must prefer the idea of experienced players winning. I'm a coulthard fan myself.

I wouldn't mind living forever, as long as my body will not age (if it did, then you would not live forever as your body will turn to dust.) People can do what they want, if they want to harm themselves for fun, so be it. Unless they harm me in the process. I don't want to breathe in your second hand smoke thank you very much. oh, and living your life to the full doesn't mean drinking and having drugs by the way. It means to have fun in your life. You only get one. I'll live my life to the full, yet keep my healthy lifestyle.

I don't really notice a difference. Though different weather conditions usually affect the temperature and that does make a difference since I hate the cold, and, unfortunately, appear very sensitive to it.

99% chance of this happening imo it seems that 1% has won out. Ash now has a girlfriend, and Emily was there to witness the kiss. This will be interesting. I have. But what other conclusion would occur if someone changed genders against thier will?

I also agree with this. Tutorial island should be optional, but in order to skip it you must first prove that you are experienced in the game. this stops noobs just taking the easy option.
