Just so you know - the giant ent gives a 50% chance to double the yield. Take the cactus for example, normally you get 3 spines but with the ent you can get anywhere between 3 - 6. So with each pick you have a 50% chance to get two instead of one.

Going into Preferences and ticking "scale stroke and effects" will solve that problem :thumbup:

You would be surprised what can be done in C4D. I just thought it was more object based modelling as opposed to rendering whole environments.

C4D :o That's some impressive stuff there - seems like a lot of work though. In my final year (i'm from QLD) we used ArchiCad to design a house and generate photorealistic renders. How many hours do you reckon you've spent on it? :shock:

How much xp/hr can I expect to get doing Slayer with Lapalok. Min xp you'll get is 10k an hour. If you're cannoning and get a couple of good cannonable tasks in a row (daggs, aberrants, bloodvelds, etc) the xp rate can be over 50k xp an hour. But yeah, you'll probably average 15k. Whats the attack/xp per hour slayering? Probably 50k - 60k. The BIG question- If I get 82-85 Slayer (841k xp needed) can I expect 95-99 Attack as well? I don't know how to figure that out... You'll get about 3,335,00xp. Which means you'll end up on about 12m xp (level 98).

Just got this assignment last night. I always do it because the numbers are so small. (I was assigned to kill five this time.) I can manage a few, but if I got fifty, or something like that, I'd have to block it. Apparently the max number you can get is about 8.

If you set a cannon up where the red circle is you'll only be hitting one dog that wanders. Even in single combat the cannon will speed up your task 2x.

Maybe it is being influenced by the demand of cannonballs (~275 ea).

in honesty black dragons arent a bad task if you kill the babies in chaos tunnels. the exp isnt too bad (especially if you use dragon slayer gloves from FOG) and the task is pretty fast, not worth the spot on a ban list Yeah even with the Chaos Tunnels they are still a crappy task. Slow xp and no drops. They are pretty common for me as well. There's nothing else i can really put in that 4th spot anyway.

Cool, i might try that. Only got 1m xp till 99 range as well so that's a bonus.

Just got to have a good connection to be entirely successful. I only do it if i have a few monsters left on my task, other than that it's too much trouble doing. I don't see it being against the rules though.

Block [*:srz90i6w] steel dragons - slow xp [*:srz90i6w] iron dragons - slow xp [*:srz90i6w] hell hounds - boring drops [*:srz90i6w] greater demons - not too bad, spot usually gets crashed though (might unblock these and put black dragons in this spot) Cancel [*:srz90i6w] skeletal wyvern - annoying (these are pretty rare to get so it's not too bad)

Neither, really. Never cannon in single-way combat. Dagannoths, Mutated Bloodvelds, Goraks, and Suquas are the main ones, but Scabarites, Fire Giants and Kalphites are good if you just want a quick task. Black demons are great to cannon if you range from the safespots. I've got hellhounds blocked so i'm not sure about them. As for best tasks to cannon i'd have to say mutated bloodvelds (30k slayer xp an hour - correct me if i'm wrong) and aberrant spectres (not sure on xp rates - very fast though). Tasks that i cannon [*:32ehc36a] aberrant spectres [*:32ehc36a] fire giants (brimhaven) [*:32ehc36a] black demons (taverly w/ range) [*:32ehc36a] kalphites [*:32ehc36a] dagannoths [*:32ehc36a] mutated bloodvelds [*:32ehc36a] dust devils [*:32ehc36a] goraks Cannoning in single combat does help a lot, but only do it if you have the cash to spare. If you do - try and get the monster to stand at the corner of the cannon as this lets the cannon shoot 2-3 times in the one rotation. Warning: once you cannon a task it's extremely hard to go back without a cannon the next time :P

I almost looted a purple phat back when they were only worth 20m. The guy was cutting willows and got attacked by a random and died. Everyone jumped on the pile but all i managed to get were his purple gloves. Some low level got the phat and sold it to the guy's friend for for 100k :x I was poor back then so i couldn't top that offer :lol:

I don't know why you'd want to block them. One of the best cannonable tasks (up there with abberants and mutated bloodvelds). Great crimsom charm droppers too! Anyway, enough of the preaching :-# Taverly dungeon is best place though. There's a couple of good places to set up the cannon.

Best: Temple Trekking - nice variety of rewards that are actually worth something. Worst: Soul Wars - sides always seem stacked :?

I used to kill the normal ones but it was always crowded and the drops were pretty boring as well. So a couple of days ago i spent half the day doing quests so i could get to them. Now i can get 30k slayer xp in around half an hour cannoning the mutated ones. Drops are much better as well :thumbup:

Training Defence + Slayer. And trying to save enough cash for Bandos armour.

LOL! /s Just to give you an idea - i'm level 133 and have 45k cash in my bank.

All my money comes from training slayer. I don't have much cause though i'm always buying cannonballs :lol:

Instead of wasting a 'block' spot on them just kill the baby black dragons in the chaos tunnels :thumbsup: As for the guide... it needs some formatting to make it a bit easier to read. Different font colours, hide tags, etc.
