Oh hello fellow scaper! I am also an adult playing this fab game. I found the game on a gaming site back in the early 2000 and was hooked quite fast. I was the one getting my son to play (and my daughter too for a few months). They have now moved on to other interesting things but I am still around (on my second char that is). I would be honoured if you wanted to add me (Rejna in game since Sunli is retired for the time being)! By the way; did I meet you up at the slayer tower killing gargs a few weeks back? Someone with a similar name helped me when I ran out of food :)

I think I can safely reveal that I am now playing again! Not on Sunli alas, allthough I do have plans of maxing the char, but at the moment I am enjoying exploring the game all new and fresh on an anonymous char ^_^

I logged in for the first time in a long time yesterday and just had a looksie around. Glad to see TIF is still going strong (yay). Miss my friends here but rl is busy so I have no time for gaming or forums (cries). Continue your excellent work Grinch :)

It just makes the Younguns of old into Bitter Admins of now obsessed with user satisifcation and customer service that wasn't received then! Kidding....or am I! :twisted: Hey! I remember a puny litle Das who used to get his head bashed in by Amy's squeeky-hammer when he was cheeky. I, on the other hand, knew you would grow into a fine young lad...and look at you now :)

I remember when I was a young tipiter....back in the days when Amy used to run the forums with her big scary squeeky-hammer! These youngun's don't remember, but I do. I am a old woman who see no harm in using some harsh methods to learn the younger crowd some manners! :twisted: Kidding aside :P Any forum, as big as ours, do need a strict guiding hand in my honest opinion. As admins, super mods or mods we do expect you guys to make sure we feel at home here, but at the same time you need to make sure trolls and flamers do not. That requires a delicate touch and the right kind of people to lead. I do think most of you do a great job when it comes to that - I honestly do :)

Ok, so Andrew and Paul have moved out from the garage with their MUD and has since then developed to this gigantic business we see today. What I'd like to know is; how much do these new investors influence whats happening in the game today? Because, frankly, I'm not sure I like what I'm seing. The game is moving away, faster and faster, from what I always considered Runescape to be; friendly, community-based and a place for all ages to meet plus the option for us anti-socials to skill alone of whack monsters by our selfs. Today, it's all about events, PvP killing, Teaming bosses, mini-games where you need a team to be in (not everyone like to team!) and so on. I do not like it one bit. -
I must say, quite bluntly, that some of the reactions on this thread chillingly resembles the reactions a young girl would face under the sharia-laws after a rape; "Doesn't matter if she was only 13 and that all her uncles raped her...she is a woman and therefor guilty." - This has happened thousends of times in islamic countrys, and everytime the young innocent girl is the one that gets stoned or whipped to death while the disgusting men don't even get a slap on the wrist. Are you guys certain you want to adopt that attitude? Then I pray to God this wont happen to one of your litle sisters, daughters or wifes or one of you. I can't imagine the lack of emphaty that they would get from either one of you. I am appalled.
