Even if the mod did report them, they would only get blackmarks, not a ban. Your report (assuming you sent it) would have gotten the player an offence if Jagex decided that they deserved to have an offence added. If Jagex thought they didn't deserve to have an offence added, then having the mod report as well won't change the outcome. And it's really hard to get perm banned for offensive language..That would take 10-30 offences. :shock:

Yeah, I'm a player mod also, and when I read this I was surprised as well that you weren't stripped of your title. I think that if a moderator breaks a rule, no matter how minor it is, their mod status should be taken away. No offense Bac_Talan... So you're saying I should be demodded because my immature 9-year-old brother grabbed the keyboard and typed something?

As a mod myself, my opinion may be biased, but I honestly believe moderators help the community. Sure some are corrupt. I heard that one player got muted by a mod because the mod's friend told the mod to. I would never do that, and anyone who would doesn't deserve to be part of the mod team. Also, if a mod's corrupt, you could always click here.. If a mod is corrupt, report them to Jagex with the above link, and they may well be removed from the team. There are the certain bad mods, but the majority are good ones. (I'm guessing that, overall, I may have gotten several thousand macros banned by submitting "bot families" to Jagex..and also site advertisers, scammers, and other people. Sure, I've made mistakes, but none were blatantly wrong.) Overall, most moderators appear to try hard, and the bad ones should be reported and weeded out of the team.

The funniest part is, he mispelled Maurice...which is apparently his name... OMG, wall of text! :o

Some of you may remember the account I got banned with 212.1 blackmarks (Post all RS related screenshots here sticky). I tried that appeal and several other ones like it and so far two of them are denied withing minutes..I've never had a successful appeal..all I can see is that you're really lucky.. Impressive though. Very impressive.

I really don't approve of the "friend recommendation" system suggested in the first post. For one thing, it would mean that someone must know a mod to be a mod, meaning that many good players (including me.. :P) would never have received mod invitations. Secondly, as previously stated, Jagex would have to eventually release info on how mods were selected, and it would make players *really* angry. Finally, I get enough random pms of "Friends?" every time I step into F2P Lumby. It's hard enough for us mods, let's try not to make it any worse. That's my concise opinion. Feel free to comment, compliment, criticize, or do whatever you want as long as it's within the rules.. :|

Here's my problem with allowing f2p on the forums, and probably why Jagex doesn't allow them on. See what I mean? You think ad bots and noobs (NOT newbs) are bad ingame? What about the forums? Forums for F2p would be nice, but I just don't see how it could work out..just so everyone who suggested it understands.

But they didn't punish me for offensive language, they punished me because I was, apparently, sharing my account with my brother when he grabbed the keyboard. Also, I was not saying "Jagex blocks ur pass look ******* try!" I was simply stating, though incorrectly, that they blocked your pass, and was not at all encouraging anyone to say it.

Selling addy(t) legs. Scammer offers 100k. I accept. He then adds about 20 other low-level items and I accept really fast. Didn't check the second trade screen. I traded addy(t) legs for about 1k in low-level items. :wall: :wall: :wall: All is well now though..I had about 200k in items after the scam and I now have close to 20m. Merchant for life!

Kinda pathetic, huh? Here's the evidence for the first one (account sharing/trading): My brother grabbed the keyboard and said "(rap", and then some noob in Lumbridge reported me.. :x Apparently, Jagex thinks that if your brother grabs the keyboard, you're sharing your account with him. And the second one (Offensive language?!): Flax macro hunting in Seers. I guess I said cyan:@ too many times..kinda deserved it, but I was muted for a day. A muted player mod? That's about as pathetic as you can get. :roll: And yes, I'm still a mod.. And then my other account: Perm ban for..get this...PASS SCAMMING. The evidence: "Username: Yes Jagex blocks ur pass!" Anyone wanna help me with that last chance appeal? :roll: That ban was just plain pathetic.

What world were you on? I heard 120-124 (I think) have a glitch that make sit appear to have this when your account is actually safe.
