Personally, I use 1&1. It has very reasonable prices and a very large number of features..including full copies of Adobe Photoshop Elements 4 and GoLove CS2. Personally, I think they would be best for most things.

And don't just use NewEgg, it's almost always waaaay too expensive. Try TigerDirect and Buy.com as well to get the best price. And for the best computer for the money, buy one from a sale in the Sunday newspaper ads. There you can get a computer that would cost $1000 for the components for only $700-$800. Just add a good graphics card and you're good to go. And your budget is way too low for a "good" gaming computer, but can still get a moderately good one.

(Yes, I am a P-mod. If you want proof, PM me on these forums and I can message you in game to prove it.) So...why does everyone hate us P-mods?!?! Honestly. Why does everyone always remember their bad experiences with mods over the good ones? I'm sure a lot of the people who posted about a bad experience with a mod have had more good ones then bad ones, but for some reason (Jealousy? :| )decide to smear the reputations of every mod they can. This thread is as bad as U.S. politics. :? At the moment, there are over 6,000 mods. What are the chances that a good percentage of those mods are bad? Assume you meet 10 P-mods in the last month. Also assume there is a 10% chance that a P-mod will abuse their power or otherwise act badly. To spare math phobics' brains, I'll just tell you: Over 90%. Those people will probably post only their negative experience(s). So, if you've had a bad experience with a mod, would you want to share it on this thread? Probably. If you hadn't? Maybe a 50% chance. So, accounting for the P-mods posting on the thread, who will almost certainly post positive things, the chances that any individual person will post negative things about mods is still probably about 75-80%. So, people...don't judge mods by what's said on the thread, and also, with a P-mod's power, some abuse will probably happen. If it's a false mute or the mod is acting unmodly, report them to Jagex via a query and move on (after adding them to your ignore list.) Jagex can look at the mod's chat history and confirm your suspicions, and they could get warned or demodded. If a mod's being unmodly, don't rant about it here, take action. (Most of this last post is purely opinion. Please don't flame me.)

I got 0.3 black marks and a 1-day mute for spamming because of it. :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: Is there anything more pathetic than a muted p-mod? :roll: But other than that, it works great. In fact...check this out..my bot killing vids! The cyan text works really well on most bots, but you should probably add to make sure not to say it 25 times in a minute like I did. :oops: Other than that, great guide!

I sometimes take the time to find and report these sites to Jagex when I'm bored. In about 15 minutes by using really obvious Google searches, I find easily 20 sites. It's just plain absurd. Seriously, these things should be dealt with.

For me, I don't have bad lag...it's normally my computer that dies instead of my Internet. My worst lag-out was when I was fighting lessers in f2P, but I didn't lose anything. I'm so lucky... :P

Should I remind you that the Ectofurnus takes 2x-3x the amount of time then doing the gilded altar? And it's barely any exp difference. I wish I could use a guilded altar... #-o Anyone can use one. Just go to the Events forum, and look for threads such as "open gilded altar". There are lots of them.

Maybe next weekend after I sell all my current ones...I can't play during the week, and you saw how many I have in my bank... -.-

So, it's looking like most people say to save for 100M or so and then get 99 prayer with 40M left over. Any more opinions? Also, what should I get my next 99 stat in?

MapleStory is by far the worst MMORPG when it comes to a HUGE level curve and repetitive grinding. I tried it for a while and still play occasionally. The graphics are much more detailed but the animations are only a couple frames and the entire game is 2D, making the job much easier for the graphics team. (My friend still quit RS to play it though. :x Yes, the same friend that had said RuneScape was the best game ever just a few months earlier, the same one that got me going a year earlier. He played to 76+ fishing, 80+ cooking, 92+cb, and then called Runescape a (This is him, not me) "dumb 10-year-old ****ing stupid game that only *****es play" (or something to that effect.))RuneScape has perfectly fine graphics, and considering that it's written entirely in Java, the graphics are great. Jagex is already stretching the limits of Java with the current graphics, and having any better graphics might be a bad idea. As to why people hate RS, I think it's because they might actually like other games better. True, the graphics are better in WoW (hardly surprising, considering it's a desktop game and RuneScape is 100% Java), and training is somewhat repetitive...but there are downsides. RuneScape is fair to all players, all levels, no matter what (in my opinion). WoW...my brother told me about how this group of players was hosting a funeral for a high-status player that had died in real life...and other players came and slaughtered them all. What's the point of that? Is that fair? Is that just? Is that what a game is supposed to be? No. For these reasons, I remain with RuneScape, as the community is (normally) much better (except in World 57 Lumby...42 reports in 1 hour. :shock:)...and the game is just more fair, and, I think, better. I know people might think otherwise, but that's just my opinion.. Sorry for the long post, I just needed to get this out of me...

The willows aren't impressive if you think about it...it took all of half an hour to buy them. Some guy had a huge stash. Just 7M...not a lot if you think about it. Almost everyone here probably has more. :

Get 70 attk for whip, then 60 def and str, and subscribe and do barrows. :P

I told you my bank was messy. After a while, you learn to find things in that messy a bank... :wink: I forgot about that clue. It's level 1 though...and the last time I did one, I spent 45 minutes on 20-something waters and some trout. #-o And yes, I plan on having at least 20M left over when I'm done.
