Just a intresting thought here.. its amazing that when its religion vs non-religious, its always the agnostic or athiests who would defend themselfs with evolution theories. Amazing they would point and try to use their own logic vs Christanity when their own self defense is not even pure fact yet. I suggest attacking evolution, but then they would just probably scamper and run behind a new theory. ~Defender~

I am sad to say the cold cruel society we live in today will not accept your views for fear themselfs. I would not worry about it, as they would probably do the same thing had their been no fear. People can say all the cruel things about you they want, because if its one thing I learned, its the people that are open, are the one's who are at the top. This is refering to my previous comment, right? I'm afraid I'm having quite a lot of trouble making sense of your posts - please use quotes at least. Anyway... Where is this unscientific statement you refer to? It is possible that I have - If its successful you wouldnt even know it. I will tell you this though. Up until the age of 10 I went to church with my grandparents. I then decided not to, of my own accord - I did not believe any of it, even though my grandparents had tried. More recently, I have been to a church youth group regularly, until I stopped that too. That was run by creationists who most definitely tried to 'brainwash' people. Apparently our teachers at school were part of a vast conspiracy to lie to us. Now, what are your reasons for believing what you do? Have you been brainwashed, or did you make a concious, carefully thought out, decision? Even though my parents are technically christians, I did not feel that automaticly made me one. I chose carefully myself at age 16 to be one after reading the Bible because Jesus Christs words amazed me. How he answered people seem'ed unreal. His wisdom with words attracted me, and proverbs as well. While its wrong for people trying to brainwash you, you should always judge the doctrine itself, not by the conduct of the people using the doctrine for their own agenda. ~Defender~

The Human Body in itself is a exploration so in depth its almost like the Universe. Yet, some events how the human body reacts is intresting. So lets discuss them here. For example.. close your eyes.. imagine that your eating a SOUR pickel. You should start feeling your tounge getting ready as if it was about to eat a sour pickel. Also, you should notice more salvia producing in your mouth. This is strange. You only thought about eating a sour pickel and its taste, but you never took a bite. Try this little experiement. Close your eyes and try to imagine something as detailed as you can, such as tree's, a event, or whatever. Now, open your eyes, and imagine the same event. It gets detailed just alittle bit more than with your eyes closed. Why can you imagine things in more detail with your eyes open than closed? As humans, we can think and replay voices in our mind (such as when you read, you hear yourself talking/reading but not a actually phsyical voice being produced). However, while I can only produce my voice physically, I can produce anyone's voice at any level desired just by thinking of it. If I wanted to reproduce my friends voice, I can EASILY do it in my mind. You can do this with any voice, your brain has that kind of power. How about when you go home and you was told that you was going to be eating tacos. Your like "YES!".. and strangely, your stomach feels "ready" for tacos. However, when you learn your gonna have something that you dislike, all of a sudden your like.. but I was ALL READY for tacos! Yet you never seen any of this food. Explain some things you noticed about your body, but no physical substance is present, all the reactions came just by you thinking of it. ~Defender~

I don't like RS Dating, but I don't believe its bad to the degree some people here claim. Runescape is a video game, its on the internet, its multiplayer. When you enter into the game, its JUST LIKE one of those virtual chat rooms where you make your own charater and go around chatting to folks. The only thing different is this is action based. Imagine it like a Chat room with pictures. People are literally getting money for dating services over the internet, with no pictures of a actually person, as their is in Runescape. So you meet, talk for awhile, get a few pictures. Then you get off Runescape, get on your Messenger and learn about each other in real life. Look at whats his name.. he's been waiting 5 years to meet his runescape girlfriend and he's finally going, wish him the best of luck too. These are REAL people behind the text and charaters. Evolution has plenty of proof. Though there are unexplained parts to the idea, it is almost certain that this is how organisms evolved. I don't think that this takes away from what God did. I believe that he guided evolution to create humans. I guess that you would say I am one of those "intelligent design" people. Evolution and Christianity don't contradict. In fact, even the Pope has accepted evolution as God's way of creating life. But the Pope is not God. He is just a regular man as the rest of us. In my opinion, (no i'm not claiming this as a fact), that when God created the human race and the animal kingdom, he gave us the ability to survive. With this, our bodies are smart and adapt to the conditions we are in. However, I do not believe if we continue in that route, we will just evolve 100 million latter into another species. Why does every animal on the earth act by instict but not humans? What makes us the exception? Every Animal has a Intelligence level as well as us humans, yet we are the only one who has choice. We are the only one who can determine if the earth will florish or be blown up into a million pieces. Evolutions orginal design is for surviability, then how does it grant its victims Choice? This cannot be so, because then you could choose to END your life, like people who sucidie do, which is against evolutions very nature, survivale. And yes, dam my spelling is OFF! ~Defender~

Most N64 games were fun.. Nowdays, with graphics improved GREATLY.. the gameplay still pretty much feels the same on almost all games. Only a few developers go out of their way to make their game innovating, rather than just " buy it cuz i made it, i needz money plzz.. i died in hollywood". ~Defender~

I heard that CoD2 needed some heavy system requirements.. Well, after I got my new rig and downloaded the demo, I always had a smooth fps at 60! Atheists have intresting charaters. From my perspective of them, they base things off evidence, logic, rationality. Their goal when talking to a christian? Point out how his beliefs are illogical, unevidential, and unrational by his research and findings (thus why he Athiest). Yet its amazing that a Athiest, being logical and the common sense type of man has no common sense or logic when dealing with people. Adding insults and emotional cuts to your posts will not get a Christian to be open minded. They would simpley only retract. There is no such thing as a open minded Athiest, because he is the excate opposite of a christian. For example, A Christian believes there is a God, no other way around this. A Athiest believes there is no God, and there is no other way around this. You cannot say "There may be and i'll change my mind later", you cannot, that would make you Agnostic or whatever Religion you may take on. No, I am an agnostic for the sole purpose of being open-minded. I believe it is possible that there is a god of some kind (or multiple), but I'm not so close-minded that I actually think I know the Truth. Most atheists admit to at least partially allowing that there could be an existence of some form of god as well, for none of us (NONE OF US, neither you nor I) know anything at all about the supernatural. You are right in saying that it is close-minded to believe with all your heart that there can't be a god (though man-made gods can be logically disproved), but that's being just as close-minded as assuming that there has to be a god. Look at yourself before you start pointing fingers at others, m'kay? Last I recall, its always the athiests pointing fingers calling Christians illogical, retarted, close minded feeble people just for believing in something they do not. I suppose you could classify me an anti-christ, in that I am not a christian, and do not think that Jesus was the son of god. But I'm not certain that the negative association of being an evil-doer applies to me. And I am most definitely not an idiot. As Assassin said, there are a great many Christians who do not view the bible as mere symbolism. And it is the practices of those christians, mainly in America but also here in the UK, that is most dangerous to society. When children are told that their teachers are lying to them, when thinly disguised creationism is taught as science, then society is in danger. So there is a great emphasis on discrediting (for want of a better word) the creationist viewpoint, in the hope that people will see it for what it is - symbolism. There is then no conflict with what we observe around us. I personally go further, and say that once you see the bible as symbolism for a moral code, you can accept that moral code without the need to invoke God.
