Usually when I was younger, I would always get on games and play them solo, even if it was a MMORPG. Multiplay is always fun, like Guild Wars. I would play the role as a monk because I loved the support role. Helping others was always what I was into. However as of late.. I find it extreemly difficult to sit down and enjoy singleplayer games and also multiplayer games when my friends are not on. Usually I find myself thinking "what do I do next" on the game.. and eventually log off because i'm very bored. Do you think something is wrong with me for feeling this way? I personally believe its because I moved out of my old town to here. All my friends I knew have either moved out as well to a different location, or back in my old town. I'm way up here in North Dallas, and I gotta say its really lonely. Ever since I was like 5, I played video games hard core in almost every spare time I had. Now I feel like I just wasted my life. I don't want to give up video games, and also I want to make a career out of it.. but i'm extreemly unsure if I ever want to go that route because its not so satisifying anymore. I think though that this is probably due to a lack of being social in real life. And to be honest, if I ever gave up video games, it would be like starting life from scratch again.. I have no idea what I would want to be.. Any advice? I would appreciate it.. :| ~Defender~

The only reason why flames start is because people don't just say "I believe this this and this". They say "You Fail. This this this and blahblahblah. What you just said was so ridicolous. If you can suggest a way in which adults only will be playing this game, suggest it. There's no way you can stop the idiot parents who buy games for their underage children. I'd prefer no-one playing it than both children and adults playing it. So just because some kid may play it, means that you'd rather that the game be banned. Sorry I fail to agree with that logic. Because thats the same kid that grows up to shoot you in the head or someone else in the head. I want to make video games someday as a career, but before I start looking into college, I would like to get in some home practice. I just have no idea where to start.. I preferably want to be a modder that designs maps. But its hard to find the discipline to train myself working with moddeling programs hours on end. And especially when you cannot test them! That's not true at all, I have far more respect for moderate or liberal Christians because it's evident that they've probably at least studied the Bible someway. If you had, you would realise the glaring contradictions, inaccuracies and absurdities mean it is obviously a work of fiction, although liberal Christians would say inspired by God. You're also hypocritical, you said you desire to know the truth, but by accepting the Bible as the literal word of God that's impossible. I really can't be a hypocrite on that because neither I or you know the truth? What if Gods word 100% is the truth? Then I can't be a hypocrite can I? Only if you believe like you do, that its contradicting, then you could call me a hypocrite. So I see where your comming from, but I disagree because no one knows what the truth is. I have read some "contradictions" that people say about the bible. Usually its a mis-type, or a misunderstanding. I want a contradiction on the bible that is ATLEAST 2 or 3 paragraphs. Most contradictions are only sentences. I found alot of stuff where I could say the bible is contradicting itself if I use only a setence or two. Thats not a contradiction, I actually looked into that one before. Notice how the fish was not created in Genesis 2:18-19. Why is that? Fish surely probably was not jumping up on the shore, flipping towards adam, saying "name me! name me!". As humans we tend to just assume things. We assume that the Garden of Eden was created when God created the earth. Actually thats not true. If you read the paragraphs after God created the animals, it will go on to how it says God created the Garden of Eden. Now think about it, since the Garden of Eden does not exist yet, but animals do, then most likely the animals are not hanging around the desert. So, after God created the Garden of Eden, no animals were living in it. Then he made man, then he put some animals in there so he won't get lonely, and then a woman. I'm not saying it's natural or not. But some people aren't gay by choice. By your logic, why were they created that way? Well here is what I believe and i'll point out why I believe it. I believe no one is born and cannot help being gay. I believe we all have a choice in the matter. For example.. I'm straight, but that doesn't mean I do not have a choice in what type of girl I want. Now for a gay guy, does he not have a choice in which guy he would want to be with? If he can make a choice on what type of guy he loves, he can make a choice not to be gay. Don't misunderstand me. I'm not saying that he won't have feelings of attraction, but I am saying he can choose not to be gay. And anyone who defines that attraction as "love" has missed it. Cute boys or girls doesn't make your life happy. Only when that other person loves you back. Can a guy love a guy? I don't believe they can love each other like a guy and a girl could love each other. Because by the Bible, God is Love, and homosexually is a sin. So therefor, if a guy loved a guy as a guy can love a girl, then God is Sin. Which would be illogical. Thats why I believe my friends say they was "miserable" when they was gay. I'm glad their out of that relationship though. Also, alot of people take attraction as "lust".. so if a gay guy has attractions to another guy, and call it "love", wouldn't it really just be lust? Love is not a feeling, its a act and always will be. Because no matter who you are with, after years time, that feeling you had the very first time will fade away. I'm a bit confused on 1 question on global warming, and please correct me if i'm wrong. But technically both Global Warming and Global Cooling are taking place. We are basically messing up the O-Zone Layer, so when its daytime, the earth will get hotter than normal. When its night time, because there is no heat comming in, the earth will get much cooler than normal. So overall, 1 side of the earth is getting fried while the other is getting frozen to death. ~Defender~

There is not a single human in this world that is excatly alike, DNA for DNA. Which is probably related to the reason why we all have our different beliefs. One thing we do all agree on though, and that is wanting and desiring to know the truth of us and the universe. As for me, I'm christian and I believe the Bible word for word. Because personally, if I believe God is real, then he did write the Bible. So when I get to heaven, I can't say "well i only believed 'parts' of what you wrote". Doesn't make sense.
