  1. Party to be held Tuesday December 29th at 3 pm EST See the first post for more information
  2. 974 xp to 99. Figuring out when the party is soon.
  3. I think you can summon a spirit wolf at level 1 without doing the quest, but I'm not 100% sure.
  4. You'll have more luck when you get to gold, there are more people, so you won't get attacked as often. Usually you can safespot the monsters easily, so you shouldn't have much of a problem now, anyway. Make sure you're in world 84, at the rock with the most people, and I think you receive the boost if your familiar isn't next to you.
  5. I hope the keyword is Was in that sentence, because if you don't know how good summoning is, then you're missing out. I meant how bad it was when it came out.
  6. On the contrary, i would go with a setup with the highest melee/range defense you have. I've seen a lot of people die down there who aren't paying attention and get attacked while mining. Without any armor, you'd be a goner really quickly. Wield the pickaxe and bring either a beast of burden or a familar that gives mining bonus. Nah, I never wear any armor, and I don't die very often.
  7. Tbh, I'd rather them improve the existing skills, rather than adding another one. But if they do add another skill, I hope it isn't as stupid as summoning was.
  8. Be sure to come to the party. It's going to be fun.
  9. Totally. But instead of dropping a gigantic ball, we'll be dropping a bunch of pickaxes.
  10. Party should be on the 30th or something
  11. You usually don't have to worry about that. By the time the second rock collapses, the first one is usually back up. Also, stay on the rock with the most people, so that it lasts longer.
  12. Once again, I enjoyed the articles, but the second one was my favorite. It was completely spot on, in my opinion.
  13. If you go in w84 (the unofficial world) you just need to bring a pick and maybe a familiar. Armor isn't required, but you may find it helpful.
  14. I think monks are your best bet then. You could try sharks, but I don't think they make as much.
  15. This blog needs a bump And I need a hump
  16. I would suggest using broad bolts, if you can use them. If you can't, try black knives. I hear that they buy fairly quickly.
  17. I personally got lucky with my clicking, but I can see where you are coming from. I still lagged quite a bit, but it was manageable. And even though I fared well, it would have been a lot more enjoyable had it been instanced. So I have to say that you're right. Maybe we'll have more luck next year. Merry Christmas
  18. Honestly, all I have to say is tough luck. Ultimately, you made the decision to bring your members objects into a F2P world, most likely fully knowing the consequences. If you didn't, then oh well. If you chose to bring your members items into a F2P world, you should be responsible for it, not anyone else. Although I agree with you in that your items should be reequipable, so long as their boosts are nullified, but until then, don't bring your members items into a free world. Besides, most people wearing members items look like idiots in a free world, at least in my opinion.
  19. You scared me for a second there. Hopefully they will let us go into a first person view. That would be awesome. Also, a few more skills would be nice, as long as sailing isn't one of them, and that they put enough effort into it to make it really awesome.
  20. Let's bring some logic into this debate: Say that the OP can get around 40k xp per hour without the torso, and 45k with it. It will take 9.35 hours to get the levels without the torso, and 8.31 hours to get it with the torso. What this means is that the OP should only go for the torso if he knows he can get it in less than an hour. And even if the hypothetical xp rates are wrong, it would still be inefficient to get the torso. So, unless you can get the torso in less than an hour, it is simply not worth it.
  21. I would recommend training a little bit of each skill, so that you can get a taste for all of them. You'll have a better glimpse of the members' world, have more fun, and be more likely to renew your subscription. I would advise getting each of the members skills to around 30 or 35. After that, just do whatever you find the most fun. Have fun in members, and have a merry Christmas.
  22. The yellow dots for the two people sitting on the bench appear on the inside of the house.
  23. I was thinking about turning it into something similar to the bh crater, except for skills. It could have some deposits of mid-level ores, some willow trees, maybe a spot for tuna fishing, and a deposit box.
