  1. I don't think I understand why someone would want top tier weapons and armor if they don't like pvm
  2. Laughable, not even remotely realistic. The biggest problem with Runescape is the big ticket items. You drop one and your set. You buy all your skills with one drop. you're right, 4m/hr isn't even remotely realistic. A maxed combat player can make 6-8m/hr at DKs, so it'll take 50-75% of the time of a SINGLE 99. It's completely realistic to make the money for seismics etc. off of non-luck based PvM. Thats part of the issue. Its still PvM. If PvM made a bit more, I'd say fine, there's some supplies you pay in and a bit of risk now, still not much risk since gravestones, but a bit. Seismics being so much more than any skiller can reasonably make is bs. Part of what we need is not just seismics being cheaper but also skills being more valuable. Skills are broken at the moment. They can either fix that by making methods to earn top end gear while skilling, tradeable or untradeable I don't really care, or they can take away the skilling item drops from bosses and PvM in general, or just make some skilling items that would be worth obtaining. I don't think you can reasonably introduce top end gear through skilling unless you make it require at least like 150 hours of work. Anything else would just make all of the other weapons useless.
  3. :wall: I came here to agree with Q, but point out that it feels like they're ruining a good idea by bringing it to an extreme, but this... You've somehow managed to get literally everything wrong. I am ranting about the low end of the game. That's literally all I've been doing for the last year or so. My entire stance is based on the fact that the game sucks before you max, when it doesn't have to. If I'm ranting about endgame bosses, it's because they're releasing those instead of looking at the sort of issues that would make it so unappealing for new players (In addition to the whole "lack of balance" thing). How much clearer do I have to be? You could clarify what low levels need. Besides reworks to entire skills/minigames (which are discussed pretty frequently on the HLF) and a new tutorial (also discussed a lot), I can't really think of any low level content that we need. All of the low level tiers are filled out, it's very easy to make enough money to support your buyable skills until you get into the 90s, xp rates are sufficiently fast, there are hundreds of low level quests.
  4. I mean like If you're going to have the game window cover such a tiny part of the window, at least move the minigame HUD into the black part of the window so that it doesn't cover your character
  5. They don't need 75% if the executives push it
  6. At least hes trying to make a effort to talk to us. There's been a lot of jmod contact since Regicidal (Mod Lee) became the HLF curator. He was probably the best hire they ever made tbh.
  7. You shouldn't do traders unless you know how to lure. It's common courtesy. The 4 north guards go in the northwest room, the 4 south guards go in the southeast room. If one escapes, lure it into the other room.
  8. To be fair, your screen is like, really, really small
  9. Armadyl Assault! Kree'arra (and his minions) - Coinshare Time and Date Date: Saturday, November 9th Time: GMT: 9pm BST: 8PM US Eastern: 5pm US Central: 4pm US Mountain: 3pm US Pacific: 2pm Friends chat: TMHT Mere Co-hosts: TBD [pending]bla_1384034400[/pending] Server and Location We will meet outside the Armadyl boss room within the God wars dungeon. You will need 40 Armadyl killcount to enter the boss room, so be sure to plan time to do this before the event is scheduled to begin. Killcount can be had on Aviansies. See the tip.it Armadyl guide for more information. Coinshare will be enabled for the whole event. The world will be specified at the time of the event. Kree'arra Many believe Armadyl is one of the hardest God Wars bosses in RuneScape simply because it is one of the most profitable. However it's quite the contrary. Given the right gear and a good team, Armadyl is by far the easiest boss you'll ever slay. It's easy, relaxing, and a great place to hang out and have a good time. The boss will attack with a deadly ranged attack as well as a secondary magic attack, so a high magic defense is recommended as you'll be praying ranged. He attacks and will focus on the person dealing the highest damage so long as they are in combat with him. He attacks everybody with each attack, but while not in combat he'll melee the player with the highest damage who last attacked him. The minions will also remain on the player with the highest damage who last attacked Kree'arra. Inventory & Equipment All set-ups should either bring a Beast of burden (such as a Pack yak/War tortoise/Spirit Terrorbird) carrying rocktails / sharks OR use a healing familiar such as a Unicorn stallion or Elemental titan. Overloads can be downgraded to ranging / super ranging potions, You can only range / mage Kree'arra, and melee is impossible, so it is recomended to range kree. Magic users should use Protect from Ranged while the boss and minions are alive. The robes can be upgraded/downgraded as desired. The Storm of Armadyl spell can be downgraded to the Polypore staff for a cheaper alternative, Do not forget your armadyl and zamorak items to keep you safe through out KC. Ranged users should use Protect from Ranged while the boss and minions are alive. The crossbow can be substituted for a Hand cannon for those with high firemaking, however additional cannons should be brought, Do not forget your armadyl and zamorak items to keep you safe through out KC. See the tip.it Armadyls Eyrie guide for more information on tactics and set-ups Requirements 70+ Constitution 70 ranged and a high defence level. High combat skills will be beneficial. Friends Chat Ranks The Main host will be the Chat owner, or will have a Gold Star in the chat. Silver stars are CO HOSTS. Bronze Stars are other TMHT members. Please note all three of these ranks will have the ability to kick members from chats, should we need to. If you need assistance, feel free to Private message a Host/Co-host, or ask in the chat. All leaders are happy to help you with gear choices and inventory setups, should you be unsure of what to bring.
  10. Week 1: Armadyl GWD Due to scheduling issues, October's Armadyl GWD event was postponed to Week 1 of November Week 2: Bandos GWD For those who haven't heard, the next world event will pit the mighty Bandos against the graceful Armadyl, so we want to continue this theme into this month's schedule. May the best god win! Week 3: No event Week 4: Saradomin GWDWe'll round out this month with another visit to the God Wars dungeon, this time to brave the onslaught of Commander Zilyana. Happy hunting!
  11. Things are more realistic than ever to achieve, so I don't know what you're talking about.
  12. Nobody here is expecting to have the best things handed to them. They just want the amount of effort it takes to make sense. That's the main thing here. This sort of thing is akin to telling someone to do a job, waiting for someone to finish working, and then telling them that none of it counts because they didn't do some other job instead. Except that it is realistic to get a few bil entirely without flipping, merchanting, or getting lucky. If your income is 4m gp/hour, it's 250 hours to get 1b. That's the same as 99 divination.
  13. This is just ridiculous. I think 500 mil is probably more than my lifetime earning in like 8 years of playing. (excluding the 300mil I bought off Jagex with 50 gloves of samid) Please go camp frost dragons every day for 4-5 hours for months to earn a level 90 armor that turns to dust in a couple of hours and isn't much better than level 80 or even 70. I don't play that game. Casuals don't play that game. My point is that there's a tradeoff. The reason why you've never had more than 500m is because you've never tried to earn more than that. If you put time into making money, like you're supposed to, you'd have a lot more money. It's that simple. It's a game, not a factory. Simply because a small minority of players have nothing better to do with their game time and real life time than to sit at the GE all day pulling accounting trips or exploiting other people (price manipulation), or camping Frost Dragons for hours everyday for months, does not mean we should all be forced to play on that ridiculous standard. It's that simple. You're maxed, aren't you? Or am I thinking of someone else? If so, I'm not sure how you don't already understand that to achieve the best things in this game, you have to work.

You get kicked and it goes on the ground. Ibis will go on the ground after you get it. It isn't worth dropping 30,000 or so artifacts to avoid missing a sceptre or ibis.
  15. If you get to that point, then warbands aren't worth doing at all.
  16. What do you mean? They're using the old barrows sets as base items to upgrade? Please tell me they're not, or else it'll just be something the manipulator shitbags monopolize for months. Well, actually. That's going to happen regardless if it upgrades the old or are new items :\ I think the barrows armor is just for the pets, hopefully.

  18. As soon as Jagex realizes that people who play 07 are much more open to RWT than RS players are, microtransactions will flood 07. RS3 players are the ones that are open to RWT and microtransactions (otherwise wouldn't play it). Also, you can't forget 75% aproval requirement. Well I mean Pkers and stakers are the people with the highest propensity to trade real-life money for in-game benefits, and they all play 07. I don't think they'd run a poll for it. Obviously it wouldn't pass, but people would still buy stuff. They'd make a killing selling whips, etc. for like $5 each
  19. Because magics and palms are more productive than warbands. If you only have farming left, you should sell supplies.
  20. It's true regardless. You should value woodcutting xp unless you're 200m anyway.

  22. I agree, but it wouldn't really matter if they capped how many spins you could redeem with bonds It would. He said it's about a 60:40 split bonds:real money purchased spins as ff you email Jagex you can get the cap on spins with real money lifted. Then the cap on how much money you can spend should also be enforced.
  23. I agree, but it wouldn't really matter if they capped how many spins you could redeem with bonds
  24. I'm not really the person to ask about it, but my understanding is that the perfect ability rotation uses concentrated blast and you can't maximize kph without it.
