  1. It's pretty sad that this really doesn't surprise me. This is more prof that anybody can sue for just about anything and win. :ohnoes:
  2. I think it's a pretty good idea. We donate money, they get a laptop. It's not a powerful laptop by any means, but it's enough to create documents, use the internet, etc.
  3. Good point. But one little rip, tear, gap, opening, fault, or malfunction with the suit, and the aliens risk getting millions of different infections. Pretty much, if the alien is shot, or his suit tears, even slightly, he's screwed.
  4. Depends. If they come (somewhat) in peace, I would probably volunteer to join their (maybe) noble cause (because..well, come on. Who WOULDN'T want to see an entire new race of beings with an entirely different culture and technologies???). If they were hostile, I'd probably go buy some weapons, go hide in the woods somewhere, and wait until they died out from Bacteria, diseases, and the like.
  5. I just bought Pokemon Diamond (for $19...brand new :o), and I'm only just starting. I started out with a Chimchar, and I've got a couple of other starter pokemon I caught just outside of Twinleaf. Looks to be a cool game! I wish I had Wi-fi though.
  6. Not much lately. I've been playing Team Fortress Classic and Half Life 2: DM and Counter-Strike 1.6 on Steam, and I've been playing Homeworld. Non-PC Online games I've been playing is mostly just Team Fortress 2. Oh, and emulators.
  7. http://kotaku.com/5040417/team-fortress-2-updates-coming-to-xbox-360-later-this-year http://www.1fort.com/blog/x-box-to-get-tf2-updates/ I can't believe it... Team Fortress 2 without updates was arguebaly the best multiplayer game on the Xbox 360 and now its going to get updates. This article has really made my day. ' Any news on the release date yet? I can't wait for these updates to come out.
  8. Mygamercard.net - Only really for the gamercard signature you can get, but I guess it still counts.. Gamefaqs.com - My most frequently visited site. I go here daily for the Polls and the Top 10 lists, as well as FAQs and Cheats for games when I'm stuck or when I have beaten them. And their forums are great, too. Gamespot.com - I don't really use it much, but I have a gamefaqs account, which also registers you an account on gamespot. I go here occasionally for prices, reviews, news, and I've been to their forums a couple of times. Xbox.com - Not really that great. The only plus side is access to your XBL account and the forums..even then, the forums aren't that great. Bungie.net - For Halo 3 stuff.
  9. Again, it's sort of a pointless argument. He's probably making this to make an argument. And if he only played the Wii 1 time, and then threw it away, then he really didn't play it or a game long enough to see why a lot of people enjoy and respect the console.
  10. *points to sig*
  11. Austin Powers: Goldmember. Funny at the time.... Heh. I got the reference immediately..I watched it last night actually.
  12. It's been designed as a more casual console to play. It's easy to set up, easy to pick up and play, and very easy to have fun with. That's why it's popular. Hey, if you don't like it, then don't use it. Not a loss to Nintendo...they're selling hundreds, even thousands maybe, Nintendo Wii's every day.
  13. I'd go for the 360, especially if you're into Shooters, RPGs, and stuff like that. It's got a bunch of great games (Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, Oblivion, Mass Effect, Dark Sector, Orange Box, Gears, etc.)..and if you're into more arcade-style games, there are games that can be bought and downloaded from the marketplace. The online isn't free ($50 a year...less than 1 full year of members for Runescape), but it's definitely worth it. Soon, it will also have movies available for 'rent' through the marketplace from netflix, also. It can play MP3s, DVDs, and some Original Xbox Games, although more are being added to the compatability list daily. The new 60 GB Hard Drives are sure to provide more than enough free space for downloadable content, and anything else that would go there. It doesn't have some of the same online features (wi-fi adapter is $100, and sold seperately; no web browser)...but come on. Do you REALLY need to use your Xbox as a web browser?
  14. I haven't really been through that much. The worst was probably this year, when it was about 1 A.M., pitch black outside, and storming all over the state. There were at least 2 tornadoes in our county, 1 within 10 miles of us. I woke up to Tornado Sirens blaring, and when I looked outside, where it was pitch black, the only thing I saw was the rain pounding on the window, and the occasional really loud blast of lightning. Turns out that was the worst storm our state had had in a while.
  15. I fixed some of the scribbles above the P, but I'm back down to 5% where I skipped a few days.
  16. I've actually got 2 N64 copies of Banjo Kazooie now. That's definitely among the greatest platformers of all time. Not sure about the rarity, though.

I got Paramour on my first game with Ashley ^_^ Then I continued that profile, levelled to 54, went with Liara and told Ashley to... [hide=Spoiler]Go die on Virmire.[/hide] I'm thinking about continuing this profile, only so I can get the Extreme Power Gamer, Sniper Expert, Completionist, Quarian/Turian Ally Achievements...and to be level 60 in anticipation for Mass Effect 2 ^_^
  18. If you're into RPGs, Oblivion is great. Make sure to get the Game of the Year Edition though, so that you automatically get Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles with it. Other than that, try Guitar Hero. Very, very fun game.
  19. I have all of my bookmarks on the other computer, but on this one I have Project AM2r (Another Metroid 2 Remake) Blog, Puzzle Farter (cool platformer), and a video gaming forum. I will update when I am on the other computer..I have loads of bookmarks on there.
  20. It was called Irony. I actually like that one. I know, it's a good one. I didn't get it because I just wanted to go on to Hephaestus. I didn't mention it because it's stupid, but it's just..very easy and unexpected. Actually, I take it back now..it shouldn't be on this list. Bioshock is a great game though.
  21. For either GH 2 or 3, there's an achievement for beating a song on expert with the game's audio options turned all the way down. That's kind of pointless. There's also one for Bioshock where.. [hide=Spoiler]You take a picture of Sander Cohen's Corpse after you killed him.[/hide]
  22. I've had dreams where I dream I'm falling off a cliff, and just after I start to fall, I jerk awake. I hate that. #-o

I've got a few suggestions. [hide=Knight Online]This one is ok. It's a BIG Grindfest, and seems to be sort of a WoW clone, but I thought it was fun for a while. Decent graphics, easy to learn gameplay, generic combat system, It's worth looking at.[/hide] [hide=Flyff]I played this one too. It's pretty fun, the only reason I quit was because I left for a week and just couldn't get back into it when I came back. It's got Cartooney Graphics, and it's sort of a Grindfest in the beginning, but it's not that bad.[/hide] [hide=Warrock]Not so much an MMORPG as it is an MMOFPS. It's still free, though. Also pretty hard, and fun. It's an online FPS, and you buy your own weapons using either real money or money earned in-game from doing good in game. Of course, each weapon has a limited time. For example...if you buy an AK-47, you'll keep it for 1 month I think until it expires, and then you have to spend money earned in game to buy another. Very fun, challenging, and worth a look[/hide] [hide=Maplestory]This is...different. Free, but it's a 2D MMORPG. Very cartooney graphics, and you may not like it. Features your generic sort of Archer/Warrior/Mage classes, and it's an ok game. Worth it if you can deal with the 2D.[/hide] [hide=Stick Arena]Heh, this is here as a joke. It's not worth making an account for..full of little kids and people that use cheats, most commonly, auto aim, a rediculous firing speed, and extremely fast movement. A good way to waste a few minutes.[/hide] If you want a more detailed review for any of them, PM me.
  24. I started to play it once, but after about 5 minutes, I went back to Runescape and never looked back... Until I quit RS..then I considered it for a few minutes but went to go play a console game instead and forgot the idea entirely.
  25. I'm probably going to have to go with the PC. There are thousands of games for it, Emulators where you can actually play non-PC games (legal or not), and if you know how, you can actually end up making your own games from scratch with a program..or, if you're really good, your own games from scratch. Not to mention that while most consoles nowadays offer multimedia capabilities and web-surfing and online-play as a large feature and a large sales point, the PC has had these much, much longer, especially if you have an internet connection. The only real downside is compatability. You may have problems running a game on the PC, not to mention that for the newest, best games, you'll probably end up upgrading...and it's pretty costly.
