I hate quite a few things about the movies. [hide=Movie Rants of Mine]-The people who have the amazing timing to show up just as the movie is starting..and then take their precious time sitting down, therefore blocking parts of the screen. Geniuses. -The people who talk to others during the movie. -The people who say crap like 'DID YOU JUST SEE THAT?!?!?!'. Nope. I didn't see it. I'm in the middle of a Darkened theatre, focused solely on the screen, concentrated on the film...but I didnt see that. Genius. -The people who answer phone calls. Come on. Keep it on silent. I don't want to hear the plans for yor day, I'll never see you again. And finally... -The ones who have the amazing idea of playing RINGTONES during the movie. Seriously. I was sitting in the middle of a movie, when someone starts playing that [developmentally delayed]ed Soulja Boy thing. Everybody was mad, he was cackling, and I missed parts of the movie. I'd say anything with a Guitar and some Drums is considered Rock. It's sad. Probably the closest thing to decent Rock that I've heard in the past few years is Nickelback..I still don't like them, but they're ok.

You didn't see the thread dedicated to Halo 3? On subject, my favorite map is probably Snowbound.

It's obviously a biased article. Besides, it sounds more like WWE. As far as I know, you can't Body Slam in MK. Also, he was DRUNK. Sounds like someone's trying to use gaming as a scapegoat again. Even past tis, it's very tragic still that a few stupid guys killed this girl.

The companies will go as far as they can before the players will start getting mad. They're gonna go right up to the line, but not past it. They'll get as close as they can. It's just the way business works.

Heh, good point. But I doubt the consoles support JRE (Java Runtime Environment). I'd say install Linux on it (I believe it uses Ubuntu), and then make sure Ubuntu has JRE. Then through Ubuntu's web browser, you could play RS. But again, why would you want to play RS on a console?

Ouch..I just bought it today...wow. I guess I'll have to get rid of it..your friend said it sucks, y'know? Wait, hold up...I played it for 4 hours straight the first time I touched it...well, if it sucks, how did I manage to do that? It doesn't suck, and your friend is a tard. As for Medium, the only thing that really trips me up is the speed. I had a lot of trouble with Institutionalized on GH 2 because it was kinda fast. Then again, I've only really ever spent time with the game for the past 3 days. Anyways, I'm almost on hard. I've just got to get used to the Orange Button, moving my hand, and adjusting to the speed.

I'd say don't do it. You're just gonna end up feeling like crap, somebody's probably gonan bluff about outdoing you, then you'll feel more like crap, and then you'll realize it wasn't worth it and feel yet alone like crap. So, whatever you choose to do, just remember this: You'll probably feel like crap. Wow, that was the most depressing thing I've said today -.-

A firewall would probably help. I'd also have an Antivirus program (such as AVG, Nod 32, or Norton Antivirus), and some anti-spyware protection (Spybot: Search and Destroy or Adaware). You can find links to these in the stickies. For anti-keylogger, I'm not sure. One good thing to do would be browse the keylogger sticky, however. As a general rule, try not to download executable files ([Caution: Executable File]) unless you are absolutely sure that the site is trustworthy.

I only asked for GH 2, Halo 3, the Xbox Live, and an Oblivion Guide..everything else was a surprise for me :lol: But yeah, a $3000 computer is quite a bit.

Personally, for $350, I'd recommend the Xbox 360 Pro. It has a 20 GB HD, which can hold a LOT more than the memory card can. It also comes with 2 Xbox 360 games, and one arcade game (Hexic HD). The HD is a storage device for the Xbox 360. You have 2 kinds of the 360 HD..the 20 GB which comes with the Pro, and the 120 GB which comes with the Elite. The HD will hold a lot more stuff than just a Memory Card, especially if you plan to download content. If you plan to play Original Xbox games, then you'll need the Hard Drive. As for Xbox Live, there are 2 editions. Gold and Silver. Silver is free...hook up the 360 to the internet, make an account, choose silver, and you have silver. Silver Membership allows you to communicate with friends and download content. Gold Membership allows you to do everything with Silver and Play games online. To get gold, you have to hook it up, and then either choose a trial, or redeem a code online or on your 360 from an Xbox Live Gold Membership Card. Hope I helped.

I just started looking around on the intarwebz, and I found This post on some linux forums. This guy is using the Mandriva OS..which is on the page with the list of ditros I mentioned above.

I'm not exactly sure. I have it installed in my room, and it's media player MIGHT be able to do it..but if I were you, I would try Dyne:Bolic or even look at Puppy for watching Movies. I dont think DSL will do that. I might be wrong though, I haven't experimented much with multimedia through Linux yet. EDIT: I said you might want to look at puppy, I take that back. You can if you want, but I got that mixed up with Xubuntu. I would think that Xubuntu or Ubuntu would let you view movies, but I'm not sure. I've only messed around extensively with DSL and Puppy, and I've used Dyne:Bolic a couple of times through a live cd.

48 hours of Xbox Live means 2 days, online or not. As for the wireless adapter, is there any way you could buy an ethernet cable and connect to your 360 that way? If not, then you'll either have to unplug it from your PC and to your 360 if you want to play, or buy the Wireless Adapter for the incredibly low price of just $100! Nah, just kidding. It's rediculous..oh well.

You've got quite a few options. I'd personally sugest trying Xubuntu. It's a smaller version of Ubuntu Linux, which is also popular. You could run Ubuntu also. If you plan to use photo/video editing and stuff, Dyne:Bolic is good for that. There are tons of distros out there, it just depends on what you want to do. If you want a small but fast distro, DSL is good, and so is Puppy. And if you're interested, here is a page with some popular distributions. Well, theres my 2 cents.

yeah that's kinda what RTS's are about real time STRATEGY WC3 involves strategy and is therefore a strategy game. Just because AOK or a wealth of other games have deeper strategy elements doesn't mean they are better games. I'd say as far as gameplay goes, it's a matter of opinion whch game is better. Some people like less in-depth games, and prefer the combat over strategy. Some people like to plan out the game for a few hours and then act upon it. As far as gameplay goes, it's pure opinion..this includes playability, concept, replay value, and pretty much how the person wants to play the game. That's just my opinion though. Personally, I think AOK is a much better game than Warcraft 3, mainly just because I liked planning out how I was going to play the game as I went. It was as if I was actually controlling the civilization. But just because I think that, doesn't make it fact. Well..there's my 2 or 3 cents worth of text. Back to TS.

It's a pretty cool game. I liked AoE: AoK more, but oh well. WC3 is fun. It looks decent, it's easy to learn how to play, you don't need a super computer to play it, and the online is decent. I'd recommend downloading the demo from Blizzard before I bought it though.

Yup. It's their cache. If you don't have that installed, you can't play RuneScape.

The worst I've ever seen are the ones that gripe when you take a weapon. In Halo 3, I actually had someone yelling at me because I took the Needler. They were yelling at me, saying 'omg you f****** suck with that you *****************************(and so on and so forth)'. That's also how I got my first intentional betrayal. I stuck him since he was standing right next to me, backed up before he realized it, and killed him. He quit the game. That's probably the worst problem I've had.

I'm working on beating Fable again as a good guy. I'm also planning to dedicate a bt of time to Guitar Hero..I might also restart KOTOR 1 or finish KOTOR 2. And I'm putting serious thought at beating Banjo Tooie again...I love that game.
