America+Middle Eastern=Racism?
Y'know, I could really care less about the color of someone's skin, what race they are, where they're from, or whatever. If they act with some decency then they're fine with me. Also note that I live in the middle of nowhere in the US...where everybody believes that every muslim has a bomb hidden somewhere. It's kinda sad, really.

I didn't want to post this but...
I'd say just take it to Best Buy or someone who knows what could be wrong and check if it is a power problem. I've never really had a problem with this myself though..I have an older computer that is probably around 10 years old or so..I've never had a problem with power failures. In fact, I'm posting this message through that computer right now.

PS3 Wii or 360 !!!!!!
I challenge the Wii's SSBB, Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Strikers Charged or whatever, many other hundreds of variations of mario games, and Twilight Princess to Halo, Gears, Dead Rising, Bioshock, Oblivion, Fable..meh, I dont need to name any more. And I'm not talking about graphics..heck, I could name 2 or 3 Text Based games that are much better than Halo right off the top of my head. I really do like the 360's games better then the Wii's though...most of the good games are just Mario spinoffs and stuff, like Galaxy. I lost all faith in Nintendo when I saw Mario wearing the bee costume.

Manhunt 2 ban overturned
I could care less about the game, but at least the courts finally realize that adults should be allowed to play what they want to play. Besides, there are obviously a LOT of even more worse things someone could do than play video games.

Living In Worlds of Opposite Height
I'd vote giant. There would be many advantages also..some common obstacles for the dwarf people wuld be much easier for you, for example. Besides the fact that you'd be considered a freak of nature and all, you'd have enough advantages to make it more worthwhile than being a dwarf in a giant's world. As a dwarf, you'd face many obstacles. You'd have to have people help you with their everyday tasks that you have to manage for yourself. You'd be very disadvantaged, while as a giant, you'd have a few advantages due to your strength and general size. I vote giant :)

Overall Game of the Year: 2007
I'm going to give 3 games, and say why. Lemee start with the surprising one.. [hide=Halo 3]Now, I'm no Halo fanboy. Personally, I think Halo is kind of overrated although I do enjoy playing it. But look at the fanbase, here. The first time I went on Xbox Live with any Halo game, I was swarmed by masses of people of all skill levels ready to play the game of my choosing. Not to mention the hype behind Halo 3. G4 did a TV special....an entire New York City street was shut-down specifically for the launch of the game...millions upon millions of people waited hours and hours to get the game...strategies, plans, teams, clans, everything was planned before launch...any game with a fanbase THIS BIG and enough hype to make it one of the most anticipated and best selling media releases ever deserves some sort of recognition. Bungie did a wonderful job making a fun game. Not to mention the game itself, after all. The new weapons added a load of new strategies to my arsenal. The graphics were amazing, also..water rippled and splashed as I sent a Warthog blasting in flames into a stream, The Banshee's top had the eerie green glow on it as it whirred around the sky, firing at anything and everything..the plasma shot up and twirled in a great big mass as the Wraith exploded...it's a beautiful game. And the controls are as great as ever. I know it's Halo 3, I know it's been overrated, but it deserves some recognition at least.[/hide] [hide=Bioshock] I remember reading about this in a magazine. I was like..'Wow, this game'll be a failure for sure' as I flipped away from the article. Around a year later, at an Airport in Louisville, KY, in a different magazine, I saw an amazing preview of the game. The Big Daddies were amazingly crafted, and just reading the article on different approaches to combat situations made me cringe at the thought of even seeing one of these beasts. Then, I saw the water. Never before in a game have I seen water that looks so amazing. And the story. After reading the story later on about how Rapture came to be and how humanity failed in a quest for perfection, I saw games in a completely different way. That was one of the best stories I had ever seen, period. DEFiNITELY deserving of a place on the GOTY list.[/hide]

Virus?
It's probably not a virus unless you downloaded the program. If you did, delete the [Caution: Executable File] immediately. If it keeps popping up ads, I would scan for adware with Adaware or Spybot: S&D. I'd also delete web history and cookies, just to be safe. What they're doing is throwing ads at you in order for you to click them and download spyware or malware onto your computer.

My computer is slowing!
Hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete First off, try deleting anything you really DONT need. Also if you have applications that run at startup, you may want to change the boot options through the program so that it does not run on startup. Are there any unnecessary processes running? if so, there ya go. If not, I'd bet on Spyware/Adware. Download Spybot: Search and Destroy and/or Adaware. Both are amazing programs. If you find a few entries of spyware/Adware, you've got it. Otherwise, maybe you should try scanning for Viruses with AVG Antivirus, Norton Internet Security, programs like that. If you get one or 3, you've got it. If that's not the problem..try running Disk cleanup or Defragment. If the problem still persists...personally, I'd probably backup any applications, files, etc. on a flash drive and format the hard drive. You've probably cleared the problem by now, but you might also want to try buying more memory. 256 MB Will run XP, but there will be issues. 384 or 448 is an improvement, 512 is good. If you can do it, 1 GB is a great amount for XP.

What are the worst song lyrics you've heard?
Any sort of mainstream stuff like 50 Cent, Soulja Boy, artists like that.

Best console discussion thread
I'd say the 360..besides the fact that it has the amazing games, Xbox live is great. Not to mention that running through an Oblivion Gate blaring Enter Sandman is fun >:]

Whats your perfect day?
Probably the following: 1) Wake up to the Sanford & Son theme song 2) Eat a pile of pancakes. 3) Call my friend and be an idiot, then ask if we can have Me, Danny, Hmileski, Austin, Him, and Spencer over for the weekend. 4) Go to his house and set up the consoles 5) Order some pizza and buy some root beer 6) Have a 48 hour sleep-deprived, eye twitching, cornea numbing, headaching, carpal tunnel syndrome inducing session of gaming/no-lifing 7) Go home and sleep for a day Yep. Seems just about perfect ^_^

Journalists
Tabloid/broadsheet journalists? I don't like these guys much. They seem to blow things out of proportion quite a bit..at least from what I've glanced through out of boredom. Paparazzi? Nope. They stalk someone just to get photos and info and make their life public? I could care less that Paris Hilton's going to jail..might do her some good. Favourite newspapers? I don't really read many news papers..as long as it has news, I really dont care. Favourite type of journalism? Probably someone that would write reviews in a gaming magazine. I find writing reviews kind of interesting. Favourite journalist? No preference...probably anyone who writes a great article. Do you think that good grammar and spelling is important in life? heck yeah. I know this isn't right, but I tend to view someone with bad spelling as stupid. I cant help it...my friend can't spell worth anything and he's pretty much as smart as I am. Grammar isn't as important..I could care less about it..as long as t isn't the following: "Ima gonner go down over to Danny's place and we's is gonner play the Wii til mornin" ...I know people who talk like that O.O

It's your funeral...
I like the Viking idea...that's pretty cool... :P Other than that, I really don't care. As a joke...I'd like to die in a case shaped like a computer tower, with a controller in one hand, a mouse in the other, papers from various programming books, web pages, CDs, games, and any random stuff scattered under me. Heheheheh.......

Guys, I need some help. (FD returned; story pg. 4)
Just face him the next day and tell him you have his Flash Drive. When you meet him to give it to him, tell him you didn't even look at his information as soon as you saw that it was personal details, and that you returning the flash drive in the first place is a sign of trust that you are being honest when you say you won't use that information. If he's still kinda worried, just tell him to change passwords. I'd also tell him to keep a more careful watch over that stuff, and don't pack around all of your personal info unless it is absolutely necessary.

Java experiment
I have a question involving Java. My sister still plays RS (I have no interest whatsoever in it), and we recently installed Thislinux distro on her computer. It's on mine, also. I checked, and for some reason, I cannot get Java to work properly on this distro. So, as an experiment, I want to see if theres a way I can enable Java in this distro. I'm using Bon Echo, a GTK version of Firefox 2.0, to try this. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks :)

"Can not Display Page"
Clear the Cache. I'd also check to see if IE has Javascript enabled and Java installed. If it does...try downloading Firefox and see if Runescape will play through that. If it does, it's a problem with IE. If not, delete Firefox if you want to and come back to us.
