One thing you could do is download the Google Toolbar..it has a good pop-up blocker if you dont mind having google below your address bar. You could also download adblocker plus...it's better than GT in my opinion. If you keep getting them, I'd download spybot: S&D and scan for adware. If you find some, then look at your cookies in Firefox. If you download Adblocker plus, I'd block the following: *.tribalfusion.com *.burstnet.com *.com.com *.advertising.com Anything like those sites..those are the ones that install adware.

No, but I do know of a way to do it with PS2 games. You might be able to find a guide somewhere since the 360 is still using DVDs....but im not sure.

Well, good news and bad news. The bad news? The one that went through the wash is ruined. And unless you backed up all of your music, then you lost it also. The good news? Refurbished means that a product was once ruined but has been restored and pretty much made like new. I got my old xbox that way..works perfect. I'd say buy the refurbished...although I do have one more comment: How many items has the seller sold/bought? If he's bought/sold a few hundred with 100% feedback, that's good. If he's only gone through a few, maybe 5-100, then I'd be cautious and maybe review what he's done before I bought from him.

I'd say go for the 360. If not, go for some games ;)

Quite honestly, if I wanna play the game, no stupid ad's gonna stop me. I'm not gonna try and convert you, but downloading Adblocker Plus for Firefox will allow you to block any banner ads or any frames you want..even use wildcards to block entire sites. I blocked advert.runescape.com, and now, any advert that appears on Runescape's website will be blocked. I also blocked stuff such as *.tribalfusion.com, which also eliminated quite a few more ads over the internet. If you're using any other browser, you can right-click and select 'Low Quality' if it's a flash animation..otherwise, you're gonna have to block it or deal with it. Stupid Jagex.

I agree that it's cruel, but I'd rather see the way used a long time ago than prisons today. Heck, many homeless commit crimes just to be able to get into prison..they have a bed, a roof over their head, food...even if it is prison, they still dont have to fend for themselves in there. I'm not sure what needs to be done, but something needs to change if we have people WANTING to get into prison.

Not really..I like it. The only 2 series that've made me go 'WOW..I WISH I COULDA SAW THIS IN THE THEATER!!!' are the Star Wars original trilogy and the Lord of the Rings trilogy...I didnt get into it until after the 3rd was on DVD :(

I'm with the guy above me. Just as a backup...make sure you have the latest version of Java available. I'm sure you could to to the website to check..I'm not sure of the URL though, sorry. I'd also make sure you have Firefox V. 2.0.0.9 (the most up-to-date version of Firefox at the time of this post..you can check at http://www.mozilla.com)..they're fixing new bugs every day with firefox.

Quite honestly, I'm all for completely removing Norton. That's the problem though..everyone else in my family is convinced that it's the best thing since computers were invented, therefore I *cant* uninstall it....I'm with you though, if I ever get a PC (besides the one running linux im on right now), Norton's not going ANYWHERE near it. It's missed too many threats in the past on that PC for me to ever use it again. Thanks anyways though :) :)

I dunno...but might as well explain that Hitler was a soldier during WWI, how he rose to power after WWI...then end there and explain that that's how WWII started. I'd also explain some of the technological advances..and the effect disease had on the war....
