  1. I have a N64 in my room..and I HAD a Genesis, until my sister claimed it
  2. I doubt they'll do it. It'd never compete with games like Assassin's creed...Halo 3...among others. Although you can use the Wii's web browser to play RS.
  3. Meh...after my WONDERFUL ending experiences with RuneScape *cough*, I doubt I'll ever try a game made by Jagex again.
  4. Free anti-spyware software? Spybot: Search and Destroy Ad-Aware Avast Hijack This Those are the 4 I've heard the best about. I have a...well, an ancient computer in my room...I scanned with Spybot, and it's actually running quite a bit faster now.

Ok, it's probably not just me that noticed this..but what's happened to G4? It went from a gaming channel to a clone of your generic tv station with a couple of gaming shows! Ok, just to show you...I'm gonna show you the schedule for Saturday. It's about 3:00 EST. Looking from 3 PM until Midnight (12AM) Saturday...the only show they are airing is Heroes. 9 hours, on a SATURDAY...with no Gaming-Related shows on G4 whatsoever. I didn't feel it right to just show a Saturday..so here's the lineup for Sunday as well. 12:00 AM - 5:00 AM - Attack of the Show 5:00 AM - 9:00 AM - Paid Programming 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Cops 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM Heroes 8:00 PM - ?: To Be announced....in other words, it didnt display. Maybe this is just a weekend thing...but according to what I've observed, in 29 hours of TV time that G4 is airing shows, 5 of those were Gaming-Related..ALL airing Attack of the Show, and one more thing...they only Aired that Late at Night. I'm gonna check again come Monday, but what happened to G4? They're cutting Waaaayyyy down on gaming shows Like X-Play, Cheat, etc., and adding crap like Heroes, Cops (which is a good show anyways, but airs on 5 other channels), The Man Show, soon-to-be Lost... I used to enjoy watching G4, mainly for X-play. What happened to it?
  6. ...Im stumped again....Just scan for spyware with Avast, Hijack this, Spybot, Ad-Aware... Another thing, does your computer meet the minimum system requirements? Heck, even the recommended? You can go to Start > Run > dxdiag, or if you dont have DirectX, do the method above by Cruiser.
  7. ...Well, you got me. Maybe clean the fan or something? I dunno...
  8. I pick AMD. No real reason, but on a very very basic scale, they're about the same as Intel anyways and a little cheaper. I dont really care which one...
  9. If anything, I might wear some old black robe I have. I'll probably treat it as a normal day..UNLESS I HAVE MY 360 BY THEN!! WOO!! sorry for the random ouburst  Meh. I'll probably sit around, griping about school or something.
  10. I'm going to be the 80's version of Adam. Which means I really dont have to change clothes at all! He was out of style then, and I'm out of style now ;) Nah, kidding. If I do anything for Halloween, I'm going over to my friends house.
  11. I say he's fine..except for Windows Firewall. I'm no expert, but I'd recommend NOD32 for antivirus and firewall...and Spybot: S&D for spyware and things of that nature. Get Ad-Aware also, I heard it's good.
  12. I doubt it, I think you said you scanned, but you may have a bunch of adware/spyware. I scanned my old 98 last night...it's running quite a bit faster now. I'd recommend a scan. Lol, good point :)
  13. I say just uninstall any un-needed programs. If you like to collect a lot of images and pictures, that also takes quite a bit of space. Your internet is fine for it...I used to play on 56.6kbps Dial-up before I got DSL and it was...well, playable. If the problem continues, you might want to scan for spyware. Spybot - Search and Destroy is a good one. And like Nadril said, HiJack This is good too...post the log. Also, you may want to install an antivirus program if you haven't already...such as Norton Antivirus or AVG.
  14. If it's a screenshot, hit prtscr (beside F12). Open mspaint, and paste. Save. Now..to upload an image the way I do it, go to imageshack.us ...no www. or a .com, just imageshack.us. Now hit browse and find the file. If its a large image, it may take a bit to upload. When it uploads and there is a new screen, look and you will see 4 text boxes with URLs. I usually go to the third from the top. Select and copy the URL. Come to tip.it, and paste the URL wherever. Now you've posted an image. If you dont want it to link to imageshack, delete the tags and everything in between them..but NOT the tags. Or, if you want to link somewhere else, delete everything in between the tags and put the URL to link to inside. If it's an image from a website, right click it and select properties. Where it says image location, copy the URL and do the above.
  15. I'm not exactly sure, but if I can give suggestions, check and see if anything is running in the background. For example...SOMEHOW, my friend ended up having 2 antiviruses running at once in the background. He noticed slower performance. He disabled one, now he's fine. Do you have a lot of extra things running in the background..such as IM programs or antiviruses?
  16. The reason they are doing this is supposedly to add new stealth elements to the games. Conviction sounds DECENT..and only in the sense that you are in open daylight, yet you still have to find a way to implement stealth. Thats a decent concept. But Chaos Theory and Double Agent kind of ruined it. Splinter Cell 1 was great...I havent played 2.
  17. I pick Fox News. Thats the one mom usually watches in the morning and evening, so I might as well pick that. Although I have used CNN for SSR in school...
  18. If he's using it for school, blade, and maybe internet, then he'll be fine. On the computer in my room (Windows 98, 160 MB RAM, 4 GB HD, 433mhz processor speed, 8MB VCard), I'm running Firefox 2.0.0.7, browsing the tip.it forums, and doing just about everything I need it to do besides gaming.
  19. I say go with the Laptop. If you're heading into college with that, then this one should meet all of your needs (besides gaming). If you want to play games, this is a maybe. If you just want it for school stuff and the internet, then this should be alright. After all, why would you haul around a huge desktop to class every day :-s You can do whatever you want, but I'd go for the laptop. [hide=Vista]If you get the Laptop, and you REALLY don't like Vista..I THINK you might be able to buy XP and install it over Vista. Not real sure though. Or you could go with Linux :) [/hide]
  20. Age of Empires 1 is good...and almost ANY computer could play this. It needs..what..16 mb Ram and 1mb Vram?
  21. I bet that MGS4 shows up on the 360...I just bet it will. I doubt that it will be the same for FFXIII though.
  22. I doubt it. That's probably just a stunt to sell more books..after all, with the big ending leaks, sales weren't as good as she had hoped. Kind of pitiful that you have to change a character's sexual orientation in order to sell books though...
  23. ........... *snore* I cant wait til there is a 1000 or so post count...

Cats are very fun pets...you're gonna love it. I have 2...I've had 3 in my life. One was ran over by a truck...it was awful. If you're gonna let it outside, it'll go just about anywhere..but it will always know where the house is. But be careful if you let it outside. They're very enjoyable pets though! Very quiet..peaceful...but they sleep alot. Oh well. They're still my favorite animal.
