I played Resistance on my friends PS3, and it's not that good at all. It gets boring real quick. CoD3 is pretty nasty though, especially online. I'm thinking about getting a PS3 for XMas. And just buy a game or two and then wait until GTA4 comes out and then be in gaming heaven. Honestly, I was reading about what is in the new GTA, and it sounds like it's going to be one of the greatest games you can ever play. GTA4 is coming out on 360 too. :-w As far as exclusives out now, the only big ones the PS3 has are Resistance and Ratchet and Clank. Now personally, I played Resistance for a while and while it was fun, it wasn't amazing. Ratchet and Clank though....I'm a huge fan for those games. I was shocked when I saw that it wasn't going to be online though...R&C:UYA was the game that got me into online gaming. Resistance was made by the creators of ratchet and clank Your point being....? Well nothing really... =D>

How come I have only a very vague memory of hearing that title? Besides, in most of your other posts, Resistance seems to be the BEST game... Mainly because it's probably the only PS3 exclusive that has had as much impact as MGS4 has had. Not gonna argue..Halo IS overrated...but it's still fun every now and then. Yeah, it means there is VARIETY...and you actually have a choice of decent games. I'm pretty sure we all know a good percentage of the line up. FPSs, Exclusives, RPGs, and the occasional platformer. Recently, within the past couple of days, I haven't been able to access Norton Inernet Security. I first noticed this when I wa supdating guild wars and my firewall didn't display a screen that asks if wanted to allow Guild Wars to run. I've also tried going to start->programs-> NIS...but it never displays the control center for Norton. However, just 20 minutes ago, it ran it's update system and successfully updated NIS. Also, through some looking, I found that it was listed as 'Enabled'...but the notification icon isn't showing in the lower right. I checked, and it's set to display the icons if it is Enabled. So, can anyone help me? I didn't find anything useful from Symantec (the guys who made NIS2006..stupid large businesses..). I'm also pretty sure this isn't a virus...I haven't experienced any noticeable decrease in system speed. Any ideas?

I've got one more game for you...it's online, and it costs around $30-$40, but once you buy it, the online play is free..which is a BIG bonus. [hide=Guild Wars] Guild Wars is an online game. The unique thing about it is that the online is free..and it has been reknown for some of the Best Guild/Party/Team Play support ever in an online game. [hide=Story]Let's start with the basics. You have the land of Tyria..it has regions..Ascalon, The Northern and Southern Shiverpeak Mountains, Kryta, the Maguuma Jungle, The Crystal Desert, and the Ring of Fire Island Chain. At the start of the game, you are in an area known as Pre-Searing. You can train here...and soon enough, you can choose to advance to the Searing. I'll explain the Searing below. [hide=The Searing...SPOILERS]The Searing is an event in which both Kryta and Ascalon were attacked by a northern race of beasts known as the Charr. The Charr found a weak spot, and attacked. Kryta, under the White Mantle, held Kryta away from the Charr. But during the Searing, Ascalon was all but destroyed. The land went from a beautiful, vast forest landscape into a burning, desolate, dead, struggling wasteland. After the Searing cutscenes, you advance 2 years into the future.[/hide] Now, as explained, you're in Post-Searing Tyria. Nothing much has changed, except the Charr are dominant in Ascalon.[/hide] [hide=Controls and Characters]Onto the Gameplay. The interface is fully customizeable...you can do whatever you want to do to it. The can use WASD or the arrow keys to move, use the numbers to use skills, and use hotkeys or macros to do anything. Or you can use the Mouse. It's a very easy to manage game. As for Characters, you have 6 professions available with the original game. They are the Warrior, Ranger, Elementalist, Necromancer, Mesmer, and Monk. Your primary profession is used to determine your starting skills, and any special attributes..for example, a Primary Necromancer has Soul reaping, curses, Death Magic, and Blood Magic. Soul Reaping is only for Necro Primaries. You can also choose a secondary profession..whiich gives you a second set of skills and 3 new attributes. These are both displayed with your name...IE: John Doe N/E 15..this says he's a Necro primary, and elementalist secondary, with a level of 15.[/hide] [hide=Guilds]Now, onto the biggie...Guild support. In the game, you can choose to join a Guild. A guild is a group of quite a few players who have united under one symbol as a team. You get a special cape, with the Guild Symbol, and access to Guild and Alliance chat. Each guild also gets a Guild Hall..a place ONLY your guild members can visit. You can also join Guild versus Guild battles to earn Faction and claim cities as your own...the cities provide some advantages, and Faction is used to determine Guild Rating basically. There are also Alliances, which is just a group of Guilds united into an Alliance.[/hide] That's about it for the game..that's the basics. There are many more good games other than ratchet and clank such as resistance fall of man from the creators of ratchet and clank. After reading your posts, Henman, you've never mentioned a good PS3 game besides R&C and Resistance...are those the ONLY good games? If what you've implied is true, then the 360 has already won. It has many great games...such as Gears of War, the Orange Box, Halo 3, Call of Duty 3, The Godfather, Mass Effect, Oblivion, Dead Rising, and soon-to-be GTA 4, Fable 2...I think you get the point.

I'm with Lenin here...what the heck happened? Did you spit all over his copy of GTA? Did you neuter the kid? I really don't care who gets it...the guy down the street can get it for all I care...as long as it's not Al Gore, Hillary Clinton, and ESPECIALLY not J.K. Rowling. Come on, she wrote a few books. I remember when the Tip.it Daily MSN chat started...it used to be pretty fun, but it was kinda crazy on the first night. For a couple of days, all I saw were 'body parts' drawn in the handwriting feature >.< Then that settled and the chat was amazing. But it slowly died..now there's a few people that still log on msn. It was great while it lasted however.. :)

The 'E' is made of shotguns and the 'Y' is of Battle-Rifles I believe...and he made the first 'M' out of Energy Swords Ah, thanks, I was trying to figure out what the M was made out of. So obvious #-o Meh, not really. Took me a few glances to see the blades >.<

Bolded are all included in one game, The Orange Box. :XD: But yes, I do think you should get one. I like basically everything about it; the games, the wireless controllers(yes, I know, nothing special for any console), the graphics, and Xbox Live. Never had any problems, even though mine is only like two months old. Lol, I know..but if I put all of them out, it makes the library look even bigger than it is :wink: Anyways..as for the ps3, no. 1. Yeah, but that's a limited version of the Ps3...kind of like the 360's core console. 2. Nope. They're the same..besides, even if it is proven that the PS3 has better graphics, the system can barely handle them anyways. Not to mention the fact of gameplay > graphics. 3. The Rings are an issue that's been fixed. You can also do a warranty..and pay absolutely nothing for a brand-new 360. Heck, my friend got the rings...he bought the premium, but he's actually going to get an Elite in return. And let's not forget the amazing PS3 launch... 4. None of them are even out yet...besides, I bet MGS4 will end up on 360 anyways ;)

Lol, nice...I'd heard previously that 'Hey, there's no reason to buy a 360 unless you have an HD-TV'...so I just made assumptions that the graphics were better. We've got one anyways though, but I probably wont even play regularly on it once I get my 360.

You wanna know what I'd do? If you have a cell phone, or some type of Audio recorder, I'd record the calls. From there, I'd go pay him a friendly cousin-cousin visit. Then, I'd do what his parents didn't do...I'd take a belt/switch/brush/pan/tennis racket/baseball bat/anything else, bend him over, and wear his butt out. Seriously. If his parents came home and questioned your 'disciplinary actions', I'd playback the recordings of the phone calls, explain that he kept calling and cussing you, and then I'd probably ask permission to wear him out like that again if he ever called and talked to you like that again. Seriously, that's what I'd do. If you wear their hind end out, they'll learn.
