I've got maybe 3 of these. One was similar to that, another was from 'Saudi Arabia'..and another was from some African place.

I would get it..in fact, I was hoping for tonight. I asked..and they'd rather me save up for the 360 so that I can pay for it and not them, pretty much.

Shrek: Fairy tale Freakdown. The game was almost unplayable. You had 5 moves..a normal, powerful, really powerful, and 2 special moves. You couldn't pull off the really powerful, jumping was terrible, and the graphics were very bad for their time, even. COME ON..POKEMON LOOKS BETTER THAN THIS.. The characters move like a constipated, paralyzed cow or something.This game was awful. NOT worth the money I..well, nevermind..I didnt pay for it. Ah well. Good enough.

[hide=BIG review..]Half Life 2 (Xbox) Half Life 2 is the continuing story of Gordon Freeman from Half Life 1. It is about Gordon Freeman (duh), who used to work at Black Mesa Research Facility. Something happens in Black Mesa, and aliens are unleashed from the planet Xen. I won't bother to spoil the rest. In Half Life 2, Gordon wakes up..supposedly a few decades later after a mysterious figure named the G-man put him into a stasis. By now, the Combine have taken over Earth..leaving Dr. Breen as the leader of the world pretty much, besides the Combine themselves. They have forced citizens to live in cities for Safety because of Portal storms caused by the events in Half Life 1. From there, you continue the story. GAMEPLAY: Great. It fits perfectly almost..the only complaint I have is the location of Weapon Selection (D-pad), but that was inevitable because of the controller. It is very responsive. The physics engine in this game is simply the BEST. 10/10 GRAPHICS: Almost perfect for the Xbox. Although not as good as the PCs, they are still quite pleasing to look at. Great lighting effects..not to mention the realistic facial expressions. The weapons look great too. 9/10 Story: Confusing if you haven't played HL1. It is still great. 7/10 BOREDOM FACTOR: You mght become bored during Sandtraps and Nova prospekt or one of those levels...I sure did..but the rest of the game is amazingly fun to play. 8/10 GRAVITY GUN: The GG is simply the best thing ever to hit the xbox, or video gaming in general. Simply put, it manipulates gravity and objects realistically using the most amazing/realistic physics engine known to man. Because of the GG, I'm adding 1 point to final score. FINAL SCORE: 9.5!! Almost perfect. A must have for every FPS fan, or xbox owner.[/hide]

Yeah, kinda what I was thinking. I love the game..and I don't plan to get rid of the Ps2 for now if I ever decide to. And if I pull in $95 a weekend..considering how I'm also selling my original xbox, I guess it'll be kind of easy to get it back.

I mean, they're saying the drought is going to end in like..2 or 3 weeks. When the rain comes, my neighbor really needs her yard mowed and all (don't ask)..so..yeah, I could make back the money fairly easily if I worked at it. And yes, I mean for the Ps2.

Ok..let me fill you in on my story. I have been saving up for a 360 since..well, last weekend. I made $95 that weekend from mowing and stuff, so I got that idea. Well, here's the bad. We're in the middle of quite possibly the worst drought this area has seen since who knows when. Come on, everybody old I've talked to has said this drought is the worst since the 60s or the 50s. It's lasted from May until now. Well..the grass is growing slow. So I can't bring in a lot of money and all until Fall REALLY comes..so that the moisture comes too and we have Rain. So..Right now, I have $60. The parents owe me $15, and the neighbors are paying me $20 for mowing tomorrow. That is $95. Since the money is coming so slow right now, and it takes maybe 1 and a half or 2 weeks until the grass actually grows back to cutting level..Should I just go ahead and buy Guitar Hero 2? When the Fall hits, I'll hae more opportunities to save up money again..right now, there are very few opportunities. So..let's recap. -BIG drought. Grass not growing. Few tasks and such available. -I am bored. -I am saving up for a 360. -When the fall hits in a few weeks, I can save up money again. -I really like GH2. So..should I buy Guitar Hero 2?

Schools have gone for the worst..so has all of this safety stuff. Y'wanna know how kids today learn to ride bikes safely? They are instructed by parents and told to wear helmets and told where and where not to ride and how and how not to do so. Me? I was told anywhere on my street is ok. I learned to be careful when I hit a big ditch and..well, the handlebar turned, I fell off the seat, and the right bar collided with the worst place possible >.< Games like dodgeball are being banned now..why, exactly? It's fun. Because it's kinda intense. You dodge, or you get hit. Fairly hard depending on age. Heck, one time..they let us play D-ball with BASKETBALLS....it was insanely fun. Whats going on? They're going all on a safety craze..it's retarted.

Doom 3 - 7/10 * F.E.A.R - Haven't played..so..average score. 5/10. Resident Evil 4 - 2/10 ** [hide=Read.]* - Doom 3 was kinda scary. It depends..if you see the flash right in front of you and an imp comes, or a pinky rounds the corner in front of you..not that scary. However, if you walk into a room, pass a dark corner..and a Fat Zombie smacks at you, it's kinda startling. NOTHING like turning around, shining the light, and seeing a Pinky Demon charging and then pull your gun when he's fricking RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU. You know what I mean..you KNOW somethings gonna jump out..then it happens, and you're still surprised >.< ** - RE4 wasn't scary at all. Come on..it was so predictable. It was just kinda suspenseful. Like..'What'll happen now? Oh, El Gigante.'..Sure, there were some moments of scary confusion, but they were few and far between. I don't even see why it was Gphoria game of the year..or xplay game of the year, or whatever. There were a hundred better games out there..RE4 was decent, but it wasn't THAT great.[/hide] Well, there are my opinions

Not really an iPod fan here. I bought a $30 mp3 player that holds 1GB..It's held all of the music I've wanted so far. The screen busted after half a year, but that's out of my own stupidity keeping it crammed between a rail thing and my leg. Still plays perfectly. The original headphones lasted me FOREVER..til they started to wear down because I coiled them around the player. Don't really see why I need video access, internet..among other things. And I dont need 30,000 songs or whatever.

I was bullied from about 3rd grade up until 6th grade. [hide=story]One day in 5th grade, a guy decided to be all smart and start poking fun. I got annoyed..pretty much said "Shut up, James. You're gonna wish you woulda shut up if you don't". He ignored it, and went on. And me..being the kinda strong guy I was back then, hit him and put a big, black bruise right on his face. So, I went to the principal. And she just took testimonies from the people who were there and judges. So..all of his friends were right there. Guess who got in trouble? Me. I got a 20 minute lecture and a lifetime's worth of threats..heh, I kinda said 'Whatever'. Then in 6th grade, I hauled off and hit another one of them. He was about 6 feet in the 6th grade..so..yeah. I kinda got hit a little too. No principal this time though. And lastly, in 4th grade..this kid just turned around and hit me about 7 times in the back of the head, then got me in the cheek. I lost that one horribly. So, long stories short...I had a violent history of grade school bullying >.>[/hide] Well, theres my story. 'Twas all very violent..heh. The afterstory? I haven't been bullied or been in a fight since. Those guys, no joke, are probably the most hated people in the school now for some reason. Seriously..I guess it pays off to keep your mouth shut and fight if you have to >.> [hide=EDIT.]Didn't see the violence conflict. Let me say this..I tried to walk away from all but one of those fights, the 4th grade one was one I didnt see coming. In 5th grade, he had been harassing me all year. I could have fought then, or been harassed for the rest of my life. We haven't spoken since. As for 6th grade, he came over to me and all..I just responded. I tried to calm him down. It didn't work..so I just fought back until he went away..and I posted this Just to clear things up. I DID try and avoid them.[/hide]

Is it just me, or is school becoming kind of more of a Prison Facility rather than an Educational facility >.> I mean, students are being banned from doing certain things..their lives AT SCHOOL are basically controlled by the school and the government....

And that's what the world is coming to. A cop runs over a guys foot and the guy is told to pay for the dent on the car... A guy sues for 65 million over lost pants... A mother wants to sue a toy company because of a product that has a 'Secret sumliminal message'..which is do re mi fa so la ti re mi or whatever. She has a dirty mind, so she pulled a phrase out of that.

I don't think it's a serious problem. The only reason the RIAA and all of those big companies are mad is because they make most of the money when you buy a CD. The artist makes maybe $1-2 from a CD..the records get the rest. Artists make most of their money from Live shows and stuff. So, in a sense.downloading an mp3 isn't stealing. Look at it this way..an Album is $10 with ten songs. Each song is then $1. The record company would get..say..80% of the profits. So the artist gets $2 per CD. That's 20 cents per song. If I download the songs, I always pay 15 cents on the site. So the artist didn't get a meager nickel. Also..most of the artists people have listened to from downloads, that I know, have bought the CD in the end. My friend bought both a Nile and Dragonforce CD because of a few mp3s he found once. In a way, it is promoting buying CDs. That's my view..love or hate it.

The G-Man is one of my favorite characters in any game. He's so incredibly mysterious, its great. He's great. He's just so mysterious and kinda creepy. He seems to know Gordon pretty well..but then again, you don't even know who he is. He will appear randomly in Half Life 1...and in HL2, he flickers on and off of Dr. Breen's propaganda screens and TVs a lot..like in Point insertion. And then he seems to have a mental connection or something with Gordon.. Definitely the coolest character out there.

Figures. [hide=Similar story]I remember when I was in grade school. We used to play red rover..basically, you get into 2 lines parallel to each other. You hold hands in order to form a barrier of sorts. Then you call out one person's name, and they rush at where 2 people are holding the hands to try and seperate them and break through. If they get through, they take any member of the opposing team back to their line. If they can't get through, then they join the opponent's team. It can be very violent if it's a buncha teenagers instead of grade school kids. So, this one girl decided to play. She's a crybaby, everybody knows it. Our teacher knew her mom very well. So, a smaller kid (he rushed me just before that, when he hits, you can almost not even feel it) is selected to run. So he hits her and her friend's arms, and flips under them. It didn't even look like an impact. As you can imagine, she starts bawling her eyes out. She crawls to the teacher. And what do you know, the very next day (later which she admitted that she had told her mom and her mom contacted said teacher), there was a ban on Red Rover schoolwide. For us, the teacher said we couldn't do touch football, RR, Dodgeball, or anything that involved anything more than a simple tap on your arm.[/hide] With things like these going on, no wonder our nation is being crapified. They're focusing more on a couple of kids being chased around more than an education or something important.

I was actually going through Half Life 2 on Xbox also..I quit for a few weeks. Picked it back up and beat it today :D The G-man is pretty cool. He is kinda just..there. I can't wait to find out more about him. I like the beginning of HL2.. Most of the sort of preppy people(Most everyone considers that normal now) do this whole 'stupid' thing..you cant tell if it's real or if they're joking. Playing through Half Life 1, I'm still in Black Mesa West somewhere. Playing through Guild Wars, I'm at Borlis Pass. Playing through The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap..I'm in the first shrine place (forgot name..lol) Also just finishing original Halo. I'm trying to 100% Bully, and trying to perfect Heroic on Halo 2. Once I perfect Heroic, I'll go through Campaign. Then I'll start on Legendary. That's about all I'm doing right now..lol. I'm one of those that can't sit for 7 hours straight on one game..I need something else once in a while >.< I'm trying to at least play at a Heroic skill level on Halo 2 so that whenever Halo 3 comes, I'll have SOME experience...Heh, I'm not too good. I played through on Easy..so..trying Heroic is something new to me.
