  3. I just wanna say your avatar is hilarious
  4. most of the time (though definately not all the time), the ingame money being traded for rl money is gained by the macroers, meaning that rwiters fund these macroers, and more people that buy gold from them, the more macroers there will be to gather money to satisfy the higher demand. Most of the macroers are there to satisfy the demand of the real world traders, if they weren't there, most of the macroers would be gone, so they do affect everyone, imo more so than the macroers This is exactly what I'm trying to explain, I just wonder how much more I'll need to dumb it down for Madmanpur3 to understand it. And you're on a moral high horse because you see yourself as the one voice of reason here. You fancy yourself as the one good person who has sympathy for this kid while the rest of the forum is a bunch of jerks who are rubbing salt in his wounds and laughing at him. While its true we could be more sympathetic, the question is does he deserve it? The consensus of the majority of this forum is that he does not.
  5. I didn't realize we were calling lions ducks now. My bad, I'll get off my moral high horse, or is it a moral high kitty cat now? How about instead of sarcasm, you respond to the points I raised?
  6. Just because they don't affect me doesn't mean that they're "okay." Him being scammed doesn't affect me, so should I not feel sorry for him? Should we just not care when people break the rules, simply because their actions do not directly affect us? The difference between someone getting scammed and someone real world trading is there is a negative outcome in the scamming equation, there isn't one in the real world trading equation. I'm not saying we shouldn't show compassion towards the guy who gets mugged on his way home, but rather we shouldn't get all riled up about the person speeding on an open road - let alone laugh at the guy who got mugged because he was speeding on an open road. To Pire666: Yes, I have a great understanding for how this game works...and it's evident you can't say the same. "there is a negative outcome in the scamming equation, there isn't one in the real world trading equation." Do you even remember what RS was like the few months prior to the Dec. 10 trading and wilderness updates?! It was a fetid cesspool of macroers and it was all because of RWT! So don't come here on your moral high horse and say that RWT doesn't have consequences, because it DOES. For EVERYONE.
  7. burn it fletch it sell it cook on it or hoard it for years and years and watch your massive stockpile of yew logs grow bigger, bigger, bigger!!! Yewmania
  8. Unfortunately he put your head on backwards. You bumble around in a useless stupor. While everyone is laughing at you, I steal the cheese and then steal the night, away into.
  9. ^ At least he doesn't call them "freedom fries" < Calls french onion dip "Liberty Root dip" v Calls some other foodstuff another ridiculous name
  10. I hate you because your little "friend" made me think of this! READY 10 PRINT "WANT TO KNOW HOW TO KEEP AN IDIOT BUSY IN BASIC?" 20 GOTO 30 30 GOTO 20 RUN_
  11. Actually, chances are he paid someone who just goes to GWD regularly. But even if he did pay a macroer, it's the macroer ruining the game - NOT the real world trader on the buying end (in this case Timmy). RWTers don't ruin the game for anybody. Timmy did not try to kill our game, therefore the only thing he should feel sorry for is being irresponsible enough to let himself get hacked. Honestly, you guys are all interchanging macroers and people who use stolen credit cards with real world traders. Macroers ruined the game, players who used stolen credit cards didn't necessarily ruin the game but they sure as hell hurt Jagex, real world traders on the other hand didn't affect the game in any way for you and I. If there were no RWTers there would be no macroers. Why would macroers exist if there weren't someone to buy the things they macro to get? Without RWT there would be no macroers, and hence, by RWTing Timmy supported macroing
  12. If his relative played RuneScape and got a party hat, then gave it to him, I wouldn't have any problem at all with it. But by being a RWT'r he paid macroers. That's not right and is in no way acceptable.
  13. Of course there is absolutely no reason to believe this, you just made it up to justify your unconscionable position. At this point in RS history there's really no excuse for not knowing that RWT is against the rules and will get you banned. If he was an 11 year old RWT who got banned would you still defend him? The fact that he got hacked is just icing on the irony cake. He was a RWT and either he gets banned and loses his 140 or he gets hacked and loses his 140. Or he doesn't get banned or hacked and there's another RWT'r traipsing about without any consequences, probably leading him to RWT again. This outcome is the most karmic possible. Not only did he lose his misbegotten goods, a hacker also got banned out of this. If he weren't hacked, he would have been banned and then that hacking site would still be up, probably getting someone else much less deserving before its discovery
  14. I use the Tip.it Theme, partly because I'm so used to it, but also because I think the white used in subsilver is too bright and strains my eyes. Black has the same problem. The Tip.it Theme is a perfect middle ground. Its only drawback is that the value of the gray is almost identical to the value of the red, which people seem to use a lot. Its a bit hard to read at the default font size Mississippi But getting even a little smaller and the difficulty goes up exponentially Mississippi
  15. So is yours. That was the joke...
  16. Yes. By copying the RuneScape logo and most aspects of their website, they've infringed on Jagex's trademarks and copyrights. However its not really worth it for Jagex to sue every hacking website that uses their logos, etc., its enough just to get them shut down. Also maybe they somehow get the IP address of whoever started the site and block that IP from their game? I dunno...
  17. Any chance in getting that pic to jagex and getting those accounts banned for RWT? I have no idea how, because they don't accept links :/ If this were RWT, then it would have been Hellslayer H killing Bird Flu J00. In this screenie I think we just see Little Timmeh being stupid in BH and loosing all the stuff he RWT, or we're seeing the hackers on Little Timmehs account doing the transfer. Let me search that post again, i'm pretty sure it was the hacker laughing at timmy by showing this screenshot :| Its a picture of the hackers on his account getting all of his items. Wow... I don't throw this word around lightly, but having your name visible on a screenshot of you hacking someone's account is [developmentally delayed]ed!

  19. banned for the same reason!
  20. A rune scimitar shoots out of a hole in the wall at high velocity. You "catch" it. A light blue button with a snowflake on it.
  21. I hate you for a wide variety of reasons, from cutting me off in a mountain-dew-and-poorly-cooked-fish vision I had once, to causing me to suspect you of orchestrating a number of terrorists and DoS attacks.
  22. Well I'm a girl, I don't have to fish sharks to enhance my manhood. Womanhood is all about the herblore. I got owned... #-o You and your androgynous name!
  23. Heed their calling burn them... burn them all... Late night TV
  24. I hate you for being a hypocrite!
