  1. 5/10, the images aren't anti aliased, and the brown background is kind of ugly. Also there's a white dot in the corner!
  2. Just letting you all know; I just updated the thread with a warning against providing quest spoilers. I have class in about 30 minutes, and it lasts till 9. After that I'll update the thread with A Soul's Bane and wyrms, so be patient, I haven't forgotten! :twss:
  3. Main tab: Money, tools, random junk that doesn't go into other tabs Tab 2: Armor and weapons Tab 3: Runes, arrows, bows, staves, runecrafting Tab 4: Mining, smithing, crafting Tab 5: Woodcutting, construction Tab 6: Herblore, farming Tab 7: Fishing, cooking Tab 8: Summoning, hunter Tab 9: Jewelry, teleportation things (ectophial, dramen staff, lyres, etc.)
  4. Skills necklace probably won't be an option. First of all its only 4 charges, like a glory amulet. Second of all, when it comes time to recharge it, you need to have done the Legends Quest to do it. So unless you've got a big budget and can buy 10+ Skills Necklaces, its not really an option you should be considering. Arzanian mine is pretty good, but its so far from a bank you can't really afford to bank any of the gems you get; as a result you'd have to drop them. Also the dwarf who banks the gold ore for you takes a cut which is totally not cool of him :shame: Out of all the options, the best would be to get 50 construction and put your house Brimhaven. The demon butler will bank your ores 26 at a time. You can also put your house in Brimhaven and put a mounted glory amulet in your house (this requires a much lower construction level; level 27 I believe). This means you would teleport to your house, leave, mine the ores, go back to your house, use the glory amulet to teleport to edgeville, bank, then teleport back to your house.
  5. I won! Woo! \ Congratulations everyone else who won! =D> Edit: What amulet is that?
  6. Hmmm the Wyrm thing sounds interesting, I'll add it to the main post tomorrow some time. Also something I hadn't consider is Juna's dialogue... there's one from each quest if I suppose correctly; so what would she say about the Tail of Two Cats quest? I'll have to look into that! Someone just got a research project for the next couple days :twss:
  7. Banned because you just won a first class ticket to being insulted at least once in every one of my Tip.it Times articles
  8. Banned-er (that is more banned than just "banned") for slander!
  9. Hmm, how about an "Adventurer's Locker" where you could dump all your quest items? Something to consider: if you were to release this quest locker, where would clothing sets such as HAM and Mourner, which already have a slot in the Armor case, go?
  10. Banned because I said so three times louder!
  11. Yes there was Wyrms, they were most likely the direct spawn of the Dragonkin. However overuse of them during wars and climate changes brought them to the brink of extinction, over time the remainder of them evolved into the current dragons of today. Urghh, did I bring this up in a topic before or did I forget to mention it? The one flaw with the Wyrms is that they were apparently used in the God Wars which shouldn't really be possible since White Dragons existed at that time, unless White Dragons were infact Wyrms, which may also explain why 3rd age range armour doesn't look like other dragonhide equipment. How do you know 3rd age range is made of dragonhide? Not all range armour is dragonhide; there's snakeskin and whatever barrows is as well. Because the examine say's it's crafted from White Dragonhide. :) "Fabulously ancient range protection crafted from white dragonhide." Where are Wyrms mentioned? I know there's a summoning familiar Desert Wyrm, also I haven't seen a desert wyrm, nor do I know its examine, but it seems unlikely that it would be related to dragonkin. A search of the knowledge base yields no results save for the familiar. Where is this knowledge of wyrms coming from? Is it speculation? Is it mentioned in a book somewhere? Also, let me take this opportunity to discuss the grandmaster quest which, if we are to believe the November Behind the Scenes, will be coming out very soon: Do NOT reveal details about this quest until the first Monday AFTER it is released. This will allow people who aren't able to play RuneScape during the week to have the weekend to do the quest. If you feel a dying urge to talk about something related to the quest, put it in a hide tag. If you don't know how to use them, here is the code [hide=Quest spoiler inside]This is the text/image(s) that will be hidden.[/hide] You can do almost anything inside a hide tag, including quotes, images, and formatting. You can discuss the quest as long as it is hidden, but know that I will not read it until I have finished the quest myself OR until the first Monday comes around, nor will it be added to the main post, not even in hide tags.
  12. just putting in my (probably) useless two cents, but that sounds like the 2nd part of demon slayer (forgot the name). the clothing is different though... cookies for the one who finds an order dressed in black/gold/autumn brown robes! Those are the colors of Armadyl *cough*Order of evil?*cough* Try the Mourners Oh yea! Duh... #-o

  14. If that's true it'd be very interesting; I'll take a look into that tomorrow afternoon and see if it leads anywhere!
  15. Banned for not having a signature :shame:
  16. I don't really remember what that was, I just remember Hazelmere saving me from the dungeon. Also, this is how I'm doing on the translation [hide=Translation progress]Original text: Laufata ki Glough ki Ta Quir Priw Undo eso, Tolly, gnomo kar is Glough hamo sarko pro Arposandra Qua! Translated Text (words I can't translate X'd out): XXXXXXX XX Glough XX The Grand Tree Land XXX, stupid man, XXXXX no XX Glough XXXX XXXXX to Arposandra Guards[/hide] llol phycho your like one of those die-hard star trek fans who learnt that language :o Nah, I used the translation manual given in the Grand Tree quest. Its like a Gnome-to-English dictionary

  18. Metal dragons do not have specific genders. Yet I remember there being eggs in the Iron/Steel lair. The "mother dragon" you examined was a blue dragon. I know that the examine for black dragons is "A fearsome dragon with jet black scales" or something similar. I can't say for green or red dragons; I've never killed one  And I really don't know if metal dragons have genders; before the graphics update they looked like robots and I would have said "no they don't", but now that they've been updated, the really do look like regular dragons with metallic scales, so them having genders is not out of the question. Also; someone pm'd me in RuneScape while I was doing research, someone who couldn't join the forums due to some complications, and they put forth the theory that the invisible gnome city Arposandra may be somehow related to the dragonkin. This is more than just a random suggestion; there is a mention of the invisible city in "My Notes" but I left it out because it didn't seem relevant. The passage is written in some language which is probably gnomish, but the gnome translation manual from Grand Tree is of little help in deciphering it. Here is the passage: I'll take a second, more in-depth look at it now, maybe I'll see something I didn't see the first time
  19. I support this too. The circus clothing especially seems silly to NOT have a spot for, since there are *counts on fingers* a lot of sets! Also, don't forget chompy hats :twss:
  20. I think that may be a bit extreme, but dunno. They obviously have to respawn or we'd not have anything to kill. I think it's best to pretend that the KBD, for example, hasn't actually died yet. After all, we're playing this game frozen in time (so to say) - seeing as how we've been in the same year for a very long time now. However, if we were to look into this, I think it is safe to say that it does in fact not apply to them. They reproduce, so they have no need to be reborn. then where's the QUEEN black dragon ;) Just because the king black dragon CAN reproduce normally doesn't mean he IS reproducing. Also, just because the king black dragon ISN'T reproducing normally, doesn't mean he CAN'T.
  21. Welcome to TIF! Your idea is very intriguing to me, and it makes perfect sense! One of the things the dragonkin could be doing in the ancient cavern or wherever they're holed up is offing each other in order to become stronger. A very strange ritual, but an effective one nonetheless!
  22. Random monsters drop dragon weapons because they've been circulating ever since they dragonkin released them or lost them, depending on which would better serve their motives. The draconic visage coudl very well be related to the dragonkin, but there's really no way to prove that seeing as how there's no information on it, really. As for dragonstone, there's really no reason to believe that its anything besides a name. It seems most likely to me that the dragonkin are evil as well, but we have to acknowledge the possiblity that they aren't. I mean read the postbags when the KBD answers: he tells of the dragonkin craving blood and showing no mercy; doesn't sound very friendly to me!
  23. I just read through the entire Ghostly Robes conversation provided by Randox, and there were no mention of Wyrms, only a single mention, in passing, of "dragon riders" being in Zamoraks honor guard along with Viggora. That said, I don't think there is anything that adds to the story of the dragonkin in the ghostly robes miniquest, except for the off-chance that it happens in the first 7 chat boxes.
  24. [/hide] We can assume that the object they found was the Stone of Jas, and that it was found in "the north" somewhere - that would be the wilderness. The Stone of Jas was not owned by anyone when the humans found it; it was buried in the ground somewhere (they needed tools, chisels etc. to uncover it), so they could not have stolen it from Guthix or the Dragonkin. Perhaps the place they found it was where the Fist of Guthix cave now is? Also, who/what is Jas? Another name for Guthix? The "man from the north" who found it? Or maybe the word "power" in some ancient language. And who was the "man from the north"? A mahajarrat, possibly? I always thought he was talking about the Rune Essence Rock, as that can be found somewhere in the north too, if you look at all the ice... :-k After all, the Moonclan Manual states that the Stone of jas was instantly removed by the gods after it was discovered by a Fremennik Seer. If thats the case the discoverer couldn't have formed whole groups to investigate it, right? We can't even be sure the place 'it' was found was the Wilderness; I thought it was somewhere in the troll mountains. And about the name we know very little, but one thing is sure: it is a person, because the Oracle says that 'Jas left a Stone behind'. I personally think Jas is one of the Elder Gods. But this "discovery" that they made allowed them to cast magic WITHOUT rune stones; isn't that something that only people who were exposed to the Stone of Jas could do?
  25. I spent the entire afternoon there with my macaw and I didn't see anything conclusive. The macaw was less useful than you'd think; even though you're standing on a wall with nothing in the way, the macaw can't fly north south east or west; only straight up. And when you do send it straight up, you frequently see almost nothing that you couldn't see on the ground. You get nowhere NEAR the center of the castle with the macaw, which is most likely to be the battleground we saw.
