Yes I know the results are tommorow, but i wanted to get the thread up Hey there everyone, this is techincially the sequel to the A level Result thread but for those who are getting their GCSE's on the 21st! I think ill be getting 3 modular results, One in Maths and Two in Science and a final result, on ICT :ohnoes: Good luck to All! Getting In Shape.
Ive got a question guys, What about is someone wants to lose weight WITHOUT using weights? Using weights burns fat but gains muscle and im sure ive hears that muscle weighs more then fat.. So what if i dont want to use weights to lose weight? What should i do... in the gym and such? TO make the scales happy. :

I agree. You'd get stronger/fitter a lot faster. But like I said earlier, having the muscle does not mean you have the health. Yea, i guess you two are right, i did go to the gym for 3 months and lost a few kilos but then school and coursework piled on top of me leaving no time for the gym, and then i just gained even more then i lost. >.< Thing is, in London, ive not seen many teens or kids going to gyms so thats why i wouldnt want to be the only teen there, i'd probably ask a friend to go with me..

Wow... Wii fit is actually a good weight loss program? I always thought it just helped keep people active, maybe burning some calories. To lose pounds with that thing you'd probably have to use it rigorously. No not really, i do 30 mins - an hour a day! And theres many things to choose from, Muscle Workouts, Yoga, Improving Balance, and Aerobic, So all in all, has some variety and its really good, Thing is it has to fit in with your weight loss program, youd have to eat healthier aswell. Do the Body test daily to learn your centre of balance e.g how much weight is on the left foot and how much is on the right foot, to learn your BMI (body mass index) and to learn your Wii Fit age, What age your body is say your 20, you'd want to have a WIIFIT age close to 20, or even under it. It even tellse you if your body is strong or weaker then it should be.
