  1. A person I know in RL was macroing a few months ago. He was doing this for about ten minutes when he suddenly lost connection - the next thing he knew, he had been banned for three days and given a warning. :shame: Jagex can detect macros themselves. Is it that people are using macros that Jagex haven't dealt with yet or what? :?:
  2. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: Brilliant! Jagex will never consider this. :wall: It's simply too good. You should look into working for them instead. :lol:
  3. For red spider's eggs, I used to go to Karamja caves and genocide red spiders whilst waiting for the single respawn. This is very slow, admittedly, but okay if you want some semi-intense training at the same time. My current method is to pick up the three respawns North of the elven place (North out of Ardougne then West past the small museum, keep going West until you reach and go through the huge gates, then follow the path with the Mourners until you get to the spiders). I usually take Ardougne tele tablets with me for this, and use super energy potion for the run.
  4. I don't think you've really thought this through, have you? Let me ask you, if a combat level 45 person with 99 woodcutting and fletching came to you asking the same question, would you think the same of them? Would you still call them a noob? I don't think you would. I mean, how do you relate a combat level with knowledge of runescape? Perhaps you find it difficult to deal with the fact that they are more advanced than you at fighting skills even though they are the only skills they train. Ever heard the phrase "each to their own"? Combat levels are way overrated; like the cover of a book. Come to realise that some people like to train only certain skills. In real life, what would you think of an unqualified, jobless person wearing a suit? What would you think of them? PC is a minigame. If you don't like it, don't do it. I just can't believe how many cb-level-obsessed bigots there are playing this game. And, by the way, what is "the mind of a level 60"? Please tell...
  5. 99 is plenty. If people could go on and on levelling up, they would have no goal to head towards. :wall: It would be cool, though, to be able to walk around wildy whacking people for 60 or 70 with one hit! A one man clan so to speak! :D Seriously though, there are precious few changes when you get to high levels in most of the skills; what would there be to look forward to? So you're at level 104 herblore, and you need another 40 million xp until you can make such and such...hmm. =;
  6. Well, I seriously think different level pc games would be better. Like Combat 40-69, 70-99 and 100+. Of course, the combat levels of the monsters and the portal hitpoints could be adjusted too.
  7. Listen, if you stopped getting xp from pest control points at a certain level, why would you be playing it at all except for the very reason you are complaining about? You would just end up being a "level 70 pc product" or a "level 90 pc product". Whatever. Introducing new items to buy is pretty pointless, since you currently need 250 pc points to buy one sad little item which has very little value regarding stat bonuses, and imo isn't worth the time or effort to obtain. As for the term "pc product", who cares where or how a person levels up so long as it's not breaking the rules? I think most people using this term are probably envious of high CB levels, and do not realise just how long it takes to level up even with the use of pest control. Also, pest control does nothing to level up all the other skills that are part of life in Runescape - there is so much more to it than fighting. High combat levels, however obtained, are not a great deal of use for anything but fighting (it does make the slayer skill more rewarding I suppose), which is only a fraction of the whole game. Personally, I didn't play pc once before I was combat 100, and have used it only for level boosting and a little income. Capping combat levels is pointless, unless you're talking about having different level games for different level people. That, imho, would definitely be welcome, as then you wouldn't get all the low level parasites that come into a good world, get their fifty, and then just stand around like the waste of space they are. I feel better now.
  8. This is Pest Control based People that wonder why the pc world they're on turns to crap when all they do is get their fifty and stand there saying "do ur emote plz!". People who don't bother to get the spinner which is right next to them, because, hey, we all love to spend more time than is necessary to gettiing pc points. People that ask you to "do ur emote plz!" whilst playing pc. Hardly the time for it, surely? People who get traded the new pc world, then say what it is in public and leaker's in general, whether clanned or not.
  9. When I completed the pyramid, I found that I only got thrown out if my character stopped. I managed to run the whole way, so I don't know about walking. :-k Just make sure your char doesn't stop... Hope that helps... :)
  10. I have to agree that PKing for the sake of it (attacking a player who is training agility, a player wearing and carrying nothing, activating god staff etc.) is a pretty stupid waste of time and shows poor character. Unfortunately, there will always be those p00n u n00b mentalities out there, I know some of them, and they treat it like it's just a good laugh, a part of the game. It is a good laugh (especially when they get mowed down by a passing clan :D ) and it is a part of the game, but I guess you have to accept that this is the nature of the wilderness and some of the people that roam around in it. RS wouldn't be the same without the wildy area. The benefits of the various respawns/training grounds etc. are well balanced with the risk factors. Level three clue scrolls yield the best items (usually :-k ) and thus the extra risk is justified.
  11. Depends on what you need for FT2, farming level? What? :?:
  12. :?: Anyone out there know what each of the items in the chest does, what stats they have, or what they are used for?
