Starting over, anyone ever think about it? UPDATE
Cryptogram replied to Mucky's topic in General Discussion
I would never stray far from my main simply due to the time invested in it. If that account was banned, I think it would be useful to have a head start with another account. I have made new accounts in the past and it can be a real eye opener. I didn't realise for example, walking through f2p worlds how many autoers there are, and in Lumby bank how many people trying the same old scams that would be seen a mile off on p2p. I also discovered how completely out of touch I was as to the prices of armour and weps under rune. I also found (as stated earlier in this thread) how easy and quick it is to level up and that there really is no need at all to beg from others. In one week, I got an account, from scratch, up to 44 rc, 55 str, 40 att, 38 mage, 37 crafting and 31 prayer even while swapping playing time between accounts 50/50. So, yes... Making a new account can be quite theraputic. -
I guess I'd be one of those people that flies through a sliding puzzle in 30 seconds, and I'd be 1 as well. An apt name for my char would be Tradekilleat as this is pretty much what I do. :D

Strange that lots of people moan about there being no updates for high levellers, and when this comes out some people moan that it's too hard. I guess you can't please everyone.

Another vote for Blue Dragons here. :D

How about getting RC up to 54, then using the CW balloon to get to Entrana (use 1 regular log) and do laws, returning with duelling ring? This take 1 min 15 seconds when running, and with all three pouches you can make 42 at a time. This soon builds up and you can sell laws for 320 - 340 ea quite easily. If you mixed this with farming, you can take a break once an hour or so to do your allotment(s).

drop rate for d med and half shield from fire giants?
Cryptogram replied to primetime21's topic in Help and Advice
What Harrington said. I've done at least 5k of them and had no d drops from them. I don't expect any. If I wanted d drops I do steelies. -
The important thing to anyone with a brain playing RS is how people behave, not their levels. What people type into chat is the only reliable indicator of what kind of person they are. Apart from door noobs and arrow stealers lol...

Cryptogram replied to flava0falcon's topic in General Discussion
Lunar Diplomacy was the hardest quest for me because it bored me to death several times and I kept losing my st00f :-k -

How to write very bad guides. 5K VIEWS!!!@ONEON
Cryptogram replied to mithos23132's topic in General Guides
excellent gide 10/10 Only criticism is your grammar is too good. Personally, I'd vote for tic-tacs any day btw -
Kill chaos druids and make whatever pots you can. You're absolutely right not to waste ranaars on def pots. =D> You could consider buying half of what you need and then collecting the rest yourself. All the same, if you put your mind and time to it, you could get to lvl 45 quite quickly.
-
Best herb droppers are chaos druids (Edgy dungeon, and chaos druid tower, North of Ardougne (Theiving 46 to enter I think)), and Aberrant Spectres (which require level 60 slayer and a nosepeg but are unbeatable for herbs and herb seeds imo) As for a farming circuit, you could take a look at my circuit here: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=624372

Verac's is know for its excellent prayer bonus, and is especially useful against prayer. The speed of the flail is reasonably quick. Dharok's Great Axe is very slow, and its special is that the strength bonus is inversely proportional to your current hitpoints level. e.g. if your hp were 10/70, you have the chance to hit much higher than if your hitpoints were 70/70. Both sets offer equal defence stats. So it depends on what you're using them for. If it's just defence, I'd say go for the cheapest. If you want to do KQ, or need high defence with high prayer bonus, go for Verac's. In fact, if you only want them for training, go buy full Torag's without the hammers. As for the decay, this happens only when in combat, and they should last 15 hours. Curiously though, my Verac's gear went to 100 from new when I started woodcutting. :-k

Torags provides great defence (same as all barrows melee armour) and is relatively cheap. Use it as a stopgap until you can afford Guthan's armour. For the stats, it's worth the cost of repairing provided you have a steady income as it saves time and food when training. Do yourself a favour, no metter how curious or tempted you are, do not buy the hammers! :

I had 65 agility when I completed it and I was getting severely ****** off with it. Even with pots, I must have failed it 20+ times. #-o I think it happens to most people. :?

What is YOUR favorite item of all time?
Cryptogram replied to fearspudgod's topic in General Discussion
Lunar villager hat. If I had 1k gp for each time I was asked where I got it/would I sell it, I'd have another set of Guthan's... -
Crocodiles between Pollivineach and Sophanem: "Never smile at a..."

I try to be nice, but sometimes give up. For example... Person: Umm, 119. Theiving lvl? Me: 80 Person: Nice. Me: Thx, you? Person: Can you give me 100k so I can get sharks for DT Me: ... Person: plz (follows me around) Person: Plz can you plz Etc. Luckily this doesn't happen often, but when it does it's annoying as refusal or silence inevitably leads to resentment and insults.
-
Someone dies and drops their stuff. So whether I give it back or not depends on a couple of factors. If I was speaking to them before it happened and we were getting on okay, they have their stuff back. If they drop a load of crap, they can have their stuff back. If they were not talking to me (mutual silence) they don't get their stuff back unless they ask nicely, and if it's worth over 500k, they can forget it. However, deliberately getting someone owned, whether by luring, door-closing or any other method of preventing someone's escape other than wildy fighting is a crappy thing to do and should be reportable imho.

Met a RL friend playing RS at Grand Tree agility course. I stood there for two minutes saying "Hello", "Hello!?", "Oi, ignorant!!!". Turns out, he was stood there doing a sliding puzzle from a clue scroll. :D

big cabbages... why don't they heal big hp?
Cryptogram replied to smilinmike's topic in General Discussion
I will conduct an experryment. =; I will stand in the cabbage field near the cows and eat five cave nightshades. Then I will see how many cabbidges I can pick and eat before I drop dead. Naturally, I will be wearing brand new ahrims, infinity boots, mage book and master wand, zerker ring and my 3rd age glory. I will also be carrying 30k nats and a mystic lava staff just in case I find anything worth alching. OoC rules forever! :D -
