Quick 12m?
Barrowing is very effective for cash. I've never purely meleed the brothers, but with your stats that shouldnt be a problem. If you got at least 70 mage and range, the black salamander is effective; however, I think you would be best off meleeing. I've heard that, on average, utilizing a low kc (2-3) and running the mounds multiple times per trip can be several mil per hour. Chech the AOW for some guides. *edit* oh and farming at the same time is a great moneymaker as well. *edit again* just realized others had reccomended this already.

if he had all that, i don't think he would need to ask for help. Just saying.

Cooking Training
wow, i love the feedback i got while i was "on vacation" (i got grounded... :( ). thanks you all for the help! I think once summer rolls around i will barrow and farm to earn enough for the wines, then use that. Possibly. Most likely I will burn out and resort to cooking at burthrope while practicing guitar at the same time haha... But anyways, thanks to you all!

any idea on hours it will take?

Cooking Training
I've seen estimates that 99 cooking can be achieved with only a 2-3m loss relatively quickly. I've looked around and the few guides on the forums only have the "old" way with sharks until 99 (after w/e lvl you stop buring them). What is currently the "accepted" way to obtain 99 cooking, how many hours does it take, and is the Rouges den where to train it (or lumbridge at the special range)? And please don't mention wines, I looked into it and dont want to dump about 13m on those. My cooking level is 70, currently.

Herblore Training
Alright, whats the amount of time I'm looking at to farm and make all the potions, and what herbs/potions should I use?

Herblore Training
I'm trying to do fairytale part 2, and need the herblore req. What is the cheapest potion(s) to make between level 46 and 57? Of course, if the cheapest option is something so slow that the weekly exp from tears would be better, please don't post it :P. Thanks! Post questions and suggestions below, please.

The Running Thread
@ tortilliachp, we have another guy block us with his feet usually, but i don't think anybody was that time for me. also, the coach started the stopwatch when we started running. I've never really ran competitively, and he showed us how to start that day :P

Muscle/Weight loss
hehe my doctor is an ironman triathalon finisher...but yeah weight lifting is probably the best weight to lose weight. Muscles take a lot of calories to maintain, even when you aren't lifiting, and of course lifting takes plenty of calories as well. Without a gym though...try using your body as weight. For your upper body, Pushups and pullups are always good. To work more muscles, though, elevate your feet or do handstand pushups, alternate your grips (palms facing you, away from you) when doing pullups, such things. Lower body is more of a challenge without weights, try doing step ups, body weight squats, biking, and of course running. bodybuilding.com has an excellent database.

The Running Thread
not really a runner at all, but I would just like a basis of comparison. My weights class has a series of tests to determine speed, agility, etc, and one of these is the 40yd sprint. How good is a 5.18 second time for that? Should I focus on increasing that, or is it relatively decent and shouldn't be a focus during my daily work out?

Audio vs. Linear Pots
i know the difference between them, linear changes the resistance linearally, whereas audio changes the resistance logarithmically (to ensure setting 5 is half as loud as setting 10). Volume is obviously an audio pot, but that wasn't the question. For the tone control and for the internal trim pots (to alter the clipping of each individual section) i need to know if they should be linear or audio taper.

Audio vs. Linear Pots
Ok, I recently got my hands on some schematics for a distortion pedal, but as it is my first one, I have a few questions about the pots. For the volume and tone pots, I believe they are supposed to be both audio, if not let me know. My main concern is the internal trim pots for each section. Should they be linear or audio? Schematic:

Tip.it Times 14 March 2010
In reference to the second article, I have to say that i have seen many more community minded, upstanding players lately, especially from the higher levels. One great example that springs to mind is that, about two weeks ago, a player at the GE was advertising a private server with no trade limit and that allowed macros. Literally seconds after he had began, approximately ten players (including myself) jumped on him, and a few minutes later it had swelled to a small crowd. Needless to say, he attempted to justify himself, began to insult us in turn, and then logged out. The greatest part? Not one moderator was in the area, and the community solved the problem.

Armoured Zombie Area Glitch
So I'm in AZ area...gaining tons of strength exp...and suddenly BAM! the whole game gets laggy, random letters start dissapearing from the interfaces...so i (slowly) click on the ladder and leave. But... As soon as I am outside by the altar, the lag dissapears. Everything seems to go back to normal, except the interfaces. So I reenter the area, and not only does it lag out again, but the minimap is white, and all text dissapears from all interfaces. Even the cursor dissapeared when I tried to click log out. All this has happened when nobody else is in the area, and when I hop worlds the problem is solved. This has happened three seperate times to me. Has this happened to anyone else? At all?

Lower Back
I can do dead lifts quite well (i.e 305lbs 3 times just did 205lbs 15 times with a lot to spare) Other then that it seems to me that I'm doing everything that's been mentioned so that's a good thing  BUT what are SLDLs? and how to squats help you? SLDL stands for Stiff Legged Dead Lift. Regular Squats require a strong back to maintain form, Overhead squats are less for strength and more for flexibility, which is very important as well. Just make sure to use low weight for OH squats.

Wrestling Lifts
Alright, I've come up with a plan, I want to run it by anyone who's interested. I've based it off of the above suggestions, what we do in weights, and what I remember from the list of lifts my coach gave me about 2 years ago, before I had ever lifted. I will alternate Lower and Upper body days, doing the opposite of what we did in weights that day, and alternate the A and B days. Core will be daily before anything else. Sorry for the length, I have no clue how to use hide tabs. Here goes: Upper Body A: Bench: 3x6 Pull Ups/Push Ups: 3xMax Rows: 3x6 Biceps 3x6 Triceps 3x6 Lat. Pull-Downs: 3x6 Upper Body B: Incline Bench: 2x6 Decline Bench: 2x6 Or Near-Grip Bench 3x6 Push Ups/Pulls Ups 3xMax Rows: 3x6 Biceps 3x6 Triceps 3x6 Forearms 2x25 Lower Body A: Cleans: 3x6 Squats: 3x6 Lunges: 3x6 (each leg) Leg Curls 3x6 Calve Raises: 2x20 SLDL: 3x15 Military/Push Press: 3x6 Lower Body B: Vikings: 3x6 Overhead Squats: 3x6 Step-Ups: 3x6 (Each Leg) Leg Extensions: 3x6 Calve Raises: 2x20 Deadlifts: 3x15 Trap/Shoulder: 3x6 Core: Back Extensions: 3x15 Hanging Leg Raise: Max Decline Reverse Crunch: Max Oblique Pushups: 20

Wrestling Lifts
Sweet, thank you so much! Now I have what I need, but I'm still open to other opinions as well.

Wrestling Lifts
sweet, thank you, i know most of those from my weights class (which is run by the football coach <_< ). But what exactly is plyometrics? I've heard the term in context of explosiveness, but never really learned what it meant.

Lower Back
Back Extensions, SLDL's, and overhead squats are all great for the back, but working your core helps a lot too.

Wrestling Lifts
I'm a JV wrestler in highschool, and our varsity just won state for the first time ever this year (after numerous seconds and thirds). We are losing only about 4-5 members of the frontline varsity this year, including the 171 pounder. Seeing as our chances for another state title are pretty good for next year, I really want that varsity spot. I currently weigh around 170 pounds, but I know i have a relatively high fat %, as I was able to cut down to 160s this season. I also plan to run 2-4 miles a day in the off season, and will be attending off-season freestyle practices twice a week. So my question is this: What is a good lifting routine for a Wrestler of my size and goals? Edit: Also, because I have a weights class and plan to lift again after school, should I work the same areas as in weights that day, the opposite, or does it not really matter? i.e. we have a leg day in weights, so after school I do upper body.

Jam session volume issue
slow on the reply but...thx! i'm going to talk to him about practicing at the school, and if we can't do that then seeing about maybe moving into a large space in his house...and mah amp is a 15 watt solid state, but its really efficient and puts out a surprisingly high db amount for its size, not sure on exact db but next time i'm home alone im going to crank it up all the way and measure it to find out its maximum level.
