  1. I had 49 yesterday and am pretty sure 60+ in past.
  2. 138 = 1 mage and 1 range? I didn't look into it that deeply. I'm 90 mage and 80 range and since about 75 range my combat calculator had a line through mage/range levels needed. However when I 99 them all except mage/range its 138. I was planning on bursting/chinning to get 99 mage/range once I had maxed melee, to get 138 but now I don't need to worry too much about it. I'm especially pleased I don't need to range  Cannon XP will suffice.
  3. At least you get to do an update first. I'm stuck at work 9-5 weekdays so don't get to play new content until the evening. The few days I do get off (last Monday for example) they don't update!
  4. Search on the RSOF for people with open altars. 9 times out 10 they also have teletab making facilities.
  5. World 58 Blast Furnace. Make mithril bolts(u) until you can make mithril plates. The bolts stack, and you alch the plates. Plates are faster XP hence the switch. You only use 2 coal for every mith, so you'll profit slightly. Theres a decent guide on here if you search for "blast furnace"
  6. Pure 100. If you are only 100 cos of summoning then maybe not.

Cooking is nice and easy and pretty cheap.
  8. Not true. Make sure you go round first, get a feel for where they are and satisfy all the attendants/fix the beacons. You only need to do this once. Go round again adding logs. Use magics for the first 2, yews for the 2nd 2 and the rest maples. I would put a fair bit of money on you being able to do it with yews for the first 4 instead of magics, and maybe even all maples as the key is the route you take. Then do a final lighting round, paying the attendant the extra logs to look after it for you. I don't have my round to hand atm and can't do it from memory as it was a while ago but I managed all 14 with no messages, including messing up and bringing a super energy rather than a super restore.

OK so I've not trained Hunter since before summoning was released but need to raise it soon as my other stats are catching it up. So a few questions: 1. Red Chins are obviously still the way to go however I've not trained since OogLoog was released. I vaugley recall hearing this "ruined" the spots, is this still the case? If so are there new methods? 2. Are boosts worth it? Since I last trained I can use the new pool at OogLoog, and also being 80 summoning can summon the best Hunter boost familiar. If they are worth it, do they stack? thanks!
  10. So to summerise: Lumbridge = Standard Respawn Point Falador = After Recruitment Drive (Optional) Camelot = After Kings Ransom (Optional) However I think you mean the home teleport spells: Lumbridge = Modern Magic (Standard) Edgeville = Ancient Magiks (Desert Treasure) Lunar Isle = Lunar Spells (Lunar Diplomacy) Unless you plan on doing a lot on Ancients, stick with modern mage and use a glory.
  11. Abby Spectres will divide the masses. Personally I pray on them, quite simply because I only use about 3 prayer pots per trip, which I make back in ranarr drops. This is better than carrying food around, and I'd rather have a BoB for herb drops over a Bunyip. As for cannoning them, they are one of the few monsters I don't cannon. Seriously you have to chase off after drops all the time as they mage you. Far too much hassle for what otherwise can be a nice relaxed task.
  12. How much cost 82-90 on fire waves :)? Far less than 20 mil. Don't camp though in case you die and lose loads. Take about 3-4k bloods per trip, this works well with anti-fire pots leaving room for loot. Like I said I broke even, if you do get a visage though you are set for 99.
  13. Only buy stuff you need. Sure it's nice to have Karils, but black dragonhide works just as well. Cannon's speed through some slayer tasks, but it isn't essential. Red Chin's net you loadsa range XP, but you can still get that XP slower with a rune crossbow... Set yourself a buffer which you won't go under (mines 10mil) and if you go under it, stop and make some money. This buffer should ideally cover you for a death, for example if I died, I'd estimate my buy-back costs at approx 10 mil. Plan what you want to achieve and budget accordingly. For example I'm currently getting 80 smithing, I've swung it so I profit slightly but I knew from the offset the 5 mil I was spending on supplies would be back eventually, with an extra 1.5mil. Have a guaranteed way to make money. For me runecrafting is a great money maker, but it is boring. I have 45k pure essence in bank, soley for making money which I've "written off". Therefore whenever I need some cash I can runecraft and have that cash as profit.
  14. Earns you no XP though. I'd rather be earning 100k an hour and have some XP to show for it.
  15. Your post is contradicting itself. In one breath you say alch/irons are too expensive then in the next you say you have 20+mil to spend and are willing to burst mummies. Personally I got 90 mage by fire waving steel dragons. I broke even as I got lucky with dragon legs/skirt. This is viable for you. You can always burst Rock Lobsters for crimson charms and offset the cost by saying it gets you summoning XP. Doing enchanting in the MTA with the highest enchant spell is good XP but boring. Otherwise your best bet is to mass alch.
  16. Nothing you can do to save the items unless you go back to P2P This is Jagex's way of getting you back to members.

I would say the best is Hellhounds as these are more than 1 every other kill. In a task of 176 I got 121 golds. However Hellhounds are hard/slow to kill at lower levels so most people stick to the giants.
  18. Hmmm may alch Barkers then. Trouble is alching is so boring and according to combat calculators 90 mage is enough to get me 138 combat. I could always stash em up and alch them when I do want to train mage to 99.
  19. Money isn't really an objective. Yes it would be nice if it were cheaper, but I'm not going to miss out on XP for a few extra gp. My income is varied as I train via slayer. Saturday I made about 3 mil (2 dark bows, 2 dragon boots, few treasure trails \ ) whilst today I lost a bit as I had to buy cannonballs and had some bad luck on tasks (Abby's with no whip :( ) However I have 20mil "spare" currently as well as 200k shard in bank which was gleaned back from the pouches from 75-80.
  20. I dunno. I was 85+ slayer when summoning was released.
  21. Thanks Kent! I'm not going for 99. I mean I will get it to 99, but I'm not actually going for it atm. Currently I will get it to 85, then prayer to 85, summoning to 90, prayer to 90 etc. Once I have maxed melee stats and 99 slayer then I will concentrate on summoning/prayer via GWD (cash), bursting rock lobsters (charms), and dragon bones (prayer). I know the above sounds odd, but it helps with managing cashflow and boredom from continual slayer. Whilst I'm posting my plan from 90+ is: Golds - Barker Toads Crimsons - Swamps to Irons to Yaks. Greens - Unicorns Blues - Geysers Like I said it gets easier to choose once you hit 90.
  22. Kent is probably the best person to answer this one but everyone feel free to comment  Basically I'm 80 summoning, getting charms via slayer and just want clarification what the best summoning method is for me. Only currently looking to 90 (90-99 is pretty easy to figure out). Money isn't really an object, but I don't wanna lose too much time/money if I can help it. Golds - I'm making Barker Toads. Artic bears 2nd is too hard to get/buy en-mass. Crimsons - Granite lobsters currently as Talon Beasts are too much effort. At 83 do I switch to Spirit Dags? What about swamp titans at 85? Greens - Hydras atm. Are Unicorns worth it from 88? I know they are to use but I'm talking abut XP/Cost. Blues - Basic titans atm. I will just make cheapest at time. Lava titan worth doing? Not going to bother with rune minotaur, far too expensive. Geysers from 89 I hear is the way to go. Ta
  23. Meh, I really don't understand why people cook lobsters in the 80s and 90s. Swordfishs are faster and more cost efficient. I did 99 cooking in 10 days without cooking any lobster and spent less than 3m! He's right. I ran some calculations and got that swordies lose about the same (I think when I did it about a week ago, it was exactly the same) as lobsters, but go faster. Lobsters were more readily available in the days before the GE. That was 1 year ago. Welcome to 2008. I got 99 cooking with lobster/sharks, just after the GE was made. Jan 08

  25. I'd say Hellhounds are as they drop almost every kill. Trouble is killing them as most people who farm gold charms are lower levelled. The higher levels farm crimsons.
