Waterfiends
Does anyone have a semi decent setup for Waterfiends with my stats or have any idea how I can do them efficiently? Currently I am praying range with Ahrims and am getting hit pretty much never. Bunyip is more than taking care of it. My issue is I'm letting all these drops go to waste, mithril ore, herbs, vials of water etc. as I don't have much room in inven. I tried earlier without range prayer and still the Bunyip managed to keep me steadily in health. The few times it dropped I had food as drop/raw with scrolls. Is it feasible for me to go whole trips without prayer? Should I take a prayer pot or 2 just in case? Also if I don't use prayer should I bring Guthans along as backup? 4 spaces against 12 prayer pots seems a lot better. Could also bring some food to get me by until raw ones drop. To be honest I have no idea of what I can and can't do so any ideas would be great. I'm using a Sara Sword and standard slayer gear.

Slayer Assigments
It took me just over 50 tasks to get from 90-91 slayer so you can't tell me it was 250+ from 85-86. Black Demons are great XP as are Abyssals so that's 2 out of every 6 tasks giving decent XP.

Whats the best kind of pure?
That would stink, you wouldn't be-able to hit anything... You'd just never die. ~ Captainkidd The familar does the hitting for you. Steel Titan = ownage.

Gargoyle question
Cos it's been tested. The difference is noticable at lower levels, but with melee stats in the 90's it isn't. Likewise the Waterfiends weakness to crush wouldn't matter so much if you could get melee stats over 99. Sooner or later your going to be able to overpower it, even with something it isn't weak too.

13 October 2008 - RuneScape Pre-pay Card Launched
1. The USA has a bigger population than most countries. A bigger, richer population with almost every house having a computer. Plus they have great big stores, great big stores which are Nationwide. It will take Jagex minimal effort to agree distribution to an entire continent. Yes Asia is a bigger continent but sadly it isn't as rich and each country has it's own stores and therefore would need it's own agreement. 2. RWD is the the exchange of real life money for Runescape goods. I.E £10 for 10mil GP. This isn't going to change anything. The only way RWT could come into play is if you gave someone your username and password along with some money and got them to level for you. However you can do this with any account, a pre-pay card isn't going to make it any easier.

Gargoyle question
i didnt know theyre weak to crush because im using whip and it working well, and i got similar lvs to u, i use sup att and str with bunyip and im dont need something else to heal up my hp I'd imagine your 99 defense compared to my 90 would be the reason :P Plus the crush weakness isn't as noticable as it is with Waterfiends. The defense of the Gargoyles is pretty low so if you have a highish attack level slash attacks work just as well. They are also weak to magic apparantly, though I've never ever seen anyone maging them.

I think it's good from a business point of view. Will net Jagex a nice bit of cash from the younger players, especially around Xmas. Now there really is no excuse for a f2p American not to get members. Nice marketing ploy of them releasing it around the PvP worlds. The only downside I can see is a mass influx of new members would cause the member worlds to be crowded once again, especially with some of them going over to PvP. However if Jagex release more servers it will be OK. It was annoying earlier this year, before the new servers were released, as f2p servers were emptier at peak times than the p2p ones. Part of the reason I got members 3 years ago was there sales pitch of less crowded worlds.

Gargoyle question
Using the hammer is annoying and they move oddly meaning hitting them is harder than it should be. They also hit pretty hard through even the toughest of armour. I do them with Bunyip/Super Pots inc Def and still need to use the Guthans heal. However they drop blue charms, granite mauls and black mystic tops and you will always operate at a profit. They are weak to crush attacks, so Sara Sword owns.

Chance of barrow items..?
Yeah all luck. Jennica's Ring supposedly increases the chance but this hasn't been confirmed yet, and is probably a load of rubbish.

Revenants and clue scrolls
Go kill Hellhounds, Jellies or Turoth instead. Far more common.

greater demons
Melee is fine. Guthans/Bunyip is ideal to heal. Best place to kill them is the Brimhaven dungeon, however if you are under 127cb you will be attacked by the dogs as well. They are only aggro for about 15 mins if you stay to one zone. The zone I preffered (before I was 127cb) was as soon as you got up the stairs. There are 2 demons which will never leave the zone and 1 which flicks between them. As long as you make sure that one is in your zone your OK. The zone is approx south to the fungus.

Slayer Assigments
Lunar spell is OK to speak to Duradel but you lose the abilty to alch during tasks unless your 96 mage. I personally use the Shilo Teleport from the Karamaja gloves 3. So I can bank, get new tasks and recharge summoning points betweeen tasks easily. Only thing it doesn't have is an altar but it's rare I need to recharge prayer, if I do it'll be for a task I need to tele near an altar for (via house).

Blue Charm Drop Rate
Dark Beasts Gargolyes Kalphites Those things in the DK lair. I wouldn't hunt for them though, stick with crimsons.

Slayer Assigments
I don't have an issue with Duradel. Had 3 black demon tasks in a row over the weekend but to me thats great. The XP is good and with my stats I break even or profit. On the 3rd tasks I had 6 rune chains. Even with the 11 prayer pots I used thats profit. Luckily he hasn't gone on a metal dragon spree with me. I have steels blocked but I sometimes do the irons. If he did keep pestering me with irons then they would be blocked. Anyways in my opinion, black demons, hellhounds, greaters, fire giants, kalphites and black dragons are not bad tasks, not great ones but they can't all be Abby Demons.

How reliable is Guthan's set effect?
It's pretty random tbh. Try to heal when you health is at 50 and you've just taken a sip of your super pots so the hits will be harder and more accurate. If you havn't gathered already don't wear Guthans the whole time. The skirt/plate are OK but you are better off with a slayer helm/black mask and whip/rune defender instead of the helm/spear. Then just swap the helm/spear when you need a heal. Food isn't needed on most tasks. Instead make sure you have full prayer points and if your health does get dangerouly low, stick on the protection prayer. For Fire Giants it would be pro-melee. Usually it will then heal you within a 10 prayer point loss. If you are that scared just bring a 4 dose prayer pot to save space over food. I also recommend 68 Summoning for a Bunyip. Makes Guthans almost defunct but it's always nice to have the backup of Guthans.

getting the rc pouches
You can buy them all from the RC guild. Pretty steep though and its cash not runecrafting tokens.

Summoning leveling to 70 (kent should check this out!)
Yeah just build up charms for your goal. Try to save the blues if you can but to be honest it makes no real difference if you only want 70. Use the skill planner on here and work out the levels using pouches whose 2nd you can easily gather/afford.

Last three skills for QC
But aren't teaks faster? And for WC and Smith I'm looking for very fast as I hate those two skills. Willows are about 30k an hour.

Last three skills for QC
WC - Can't go wrong at Barbarian Outpost willows. You won't make much but the XP is pretty fast. Deposit box in the Outpost is quicker than dropping. Buy a dragon axe, you can always sell back when ya done or just borrow one. Using a beaver helps with the cutting speed and also nets you a bit extra in cash. Smithing - Buy steel bars and make into cannonballs is the most profitable but it's pretty slow going, especially in the latter levels. Otherwise mith bolts/knives will lose you the least. EDIT: Just read that Blast Furnace guide. Looks like a good way to level smithing. Try that. Theiving - Pyramid Plunder all the way. Good guides on here and YouTube.

Charms! :O
Crimsons - Try waterfiends, even at your level. Just aim to maximise your mage defense, Karils or Black Dragonhide is ideal. If need be sacrifice your helm/boot/glove slot for more mage defense. Pray range and attack with crush option. A Bunyip does help but you can use a regen bracelet, or regular food. Also Guthans does work as it has a nifty crush option. Trouble is you are at risk from the mage attack, however it isn't as common as the range one, I would say 7/10 are range 3/10 are mage. Cockroach soliders are good. Black Demons are too but I find them annoying in the tunnels and the ones in Taverly don't drop charms. Blues are common from Dark Beasts and Gargolyes but these are out due to your slayer level. Kalphites drop them semi-often but it really isn't worth camping for these.

What slayer master to use?
Use Sumona. She gives a lot of decent tasks in decent amounts to get some serious XP. As for the Smoking Kills rewards. Make sure you "power train" using the Canafis master for 9 tasks then Sumona for every 10th to maximise points. My advice in spending the points at your level would be Rings>Helm>Bolts/Arrows. Reason being the rings will teleport you to Sumona so it saves having to move your house, and you can leave it it Yanille. The helm is very useful as it adds a few defense to the black mask as well as saving you space in the bank and inven (If you had Abby Demons for example you'd have to carry a nosepeg to get past Spectres). The bolts/arrows are a waste of points but I wouldn't put it past Jagex to have a use for this at some point so I bought the ability. Make sure you always leave 100 points "in the bank" just in case you need to ban/skip. Never ever use the points towards XP. Total waste of time. Buy the slayer dart spells instead and cash in for free GP.
