  1. You're also expecting people to just magically come into DGS and want to learn. When I came into DGS, I admit, it was back when the clan was FIRST starting and Dungeoneering was relatively new, and I was merely looking for a place to get a rapier and then frosts. But Dungeoneering captivated me, and I enjoyed the atmosphere, so i've continued. People can change. You can change people's minds by showing them that DGS ISN'T a drag like 117/148, and this will motivate them far more than any strict guidelines will. It's easy to teach someone who wants to learn. It's far more satisfying to take someone who doesn't want to learn, and to convince them that they should come around to your way of thinking. It's your choice, but I wouldn't like it if DGS suddenly became ultra-elitist. Not much I can do thouogh. Ring tier requirements are ultra-elitist? Most people going into dgs - like dark abyss28 - are aware of what our goals are and how we work before they enter the cc. I think i'd be correct in saying that the majority of people in dgs are here to learn & get better.

That's a great guide. I might see to adding it to the dgs guidelines. Thanks for the link!
  3. If someone leaves the clan because of ring tier requirements, do you think they would have stayed past when they have all their chaotics? Chicken, you're thinking of someone who is in Dgs just for their chaotics and not to learn. Like has been said by multiple people, Dgs is not a place for those people. We're here to teach people to become better at dungeeoneering. I don't think adding more extensive ring requirements is too much - 25% is not really a whole load of tokens when you can get a chaotic in 10 hours or so.
  4. Sauce? Comments from the latest Facebook teaser picture. Posted about 30 minutes ago. What amazed me most about going to the Facebook page to see that is the number of people that obviously never go to the homepage, or at least never read the news. I didn't realise quite that many people are clueless about what's happening in the game, with regards to future updates (and hell, even current updates, the number of people in game that ask what the update was after it has happened is crazy). 1) The rs client doesn't bring you to the homepage - it brings you to the log in page. 2) The current homepage is full of crap and in my opinion looks pretty bad. It's hard to find the useful info quickly. 3) You have to scroll down to see the updates (in my browser atleast.), so most people would just click play now instead.
  5. Untill jagex actually state rotm is out, i'd not get your hopes up about it.
  6. 45-60 mins on a team (depends on if you have laws.) Most people do c1s in a team, some people do c2s. I personally c2 fish my frozen floors and c1 my furnished+.
  7. Probably was only a short ban because they could have only made very little profit off of it. Also it means jmods have accounts they can watch for any new bugs.
  8. According to bruno, someone was banned for 14 days.
  9. MS paint, times new roman and badly draw arrows forever.
  10. The clan page saying not recruiting is to deter rsofers from joining. The cc is open to any tipiters. Edit: ninja'd by jimi. Don't you have a bakery you need to get to?

http://www.peats.com/cgi-bin/catalog_v3.cgi?id=362&type=subcat Does anyone have any experience with the mice on that list? At the moment i'm looking at the razer naga as a potential mouse but i'd like to hear people's experiences with it (or any of the other mice on that list.) Thanks.
  12. Pfohlol needed a primal 2h.
  13. He should be complaining to Jagex, not us. I don't even necessarily disagree with him but we are enforcing this rule until Jagex changes it. I don't even necessarily disagree with him but we are enforcing this rule until Jagex changes it. we are enforcing this rule until Jagex changes it.
  14. He should be complaining to Jagex, not us. I don't even necessarily disagree with him but we are enforcing this rule until Jagex changes it. Fixed. The day Jagex starts moderating this forum is the day I leave it. :|
  15. Why try wicked? They're not going to go back on what they've said no matter how much evidence you put forth.
  16. As it says in the guidelines (first post, important you read it fully before entering the cc), a maul is only for people with attack levels 20 or more lower than their str. Try to get a prom 2h smithed for you in the "dung smith" friends chat.
  17. Yeah on a random team, a ccs will benefit you a lot more than a hex will.
  18. You need to clarify what type of team this is for. You said it's for someone who doesn't have a perm team? Baxe+bneck/gaunts+csb+hood then, or primal 2h +hex +hood.
  19. He has one already. There were 3 necks 2 hexes on that team.
  20. Well that was.. an interesting floor. 2 rooms from home tele we get an edimmu which drops a neck... but everyone already has hexes/ necks lol. Then for some reason kalger decided to glitch on us and got stuck on his side of the room. Had to quit the dg in the end, lol.
  21. Except things like rapiers being better on mithril dragons than rune c'bows with diamond bolts is common knowledge. I don't see how hard it can be to put a faq thread or a common knowledge sticky that is constantly updated?
