I go to private school as well (though I am not taught by nuns), and I happen to be in 7th grade as well. I really hate the regulations. honestly I don't see whats the prob in making your own vid. If you and your friends take the trouble of doing your homework in perhaps the most creative form of report, then go to the trouble of putting it up on youtube, I think you deserve to do so. I see nothing wrong. Use this thread as a petition to prevent you from being punished!

its almost their job to be biased and share the views of the fans of the news. i mean, if one day you published an article saying "you're wrong! bush is good!" and go on proving it, you'd lose respect from a lot of viewers who have different opinions. look at the war in iraq. every day they think they are putting "real news" when 5 or 6 more troops killed. yet when troops build a new school or rebuild a small village, do we hear any of that? does anyone even know its going on? nope, all they hear is "5 more troops killed by car bombs!" they never want to put the good results of sending troops to iraq because that would change the public opinion of the news channel and give them less viewers. its the media's fault that bush is getting a bad rap. "what is war doing? war is not the answer!" don't get me wrong, i'm not saying getting our troops killed is a good thing. I'm just saying, there are some good results that we are shielded from just because the media thinks we don't need to hear it.

baggy pants? my mother would have a heart attack. i go to a catholic school, so unfortunatly we have to tuck our shirts to avoid this underwear-revealing trend. of course, even if i had the choide i'd never wear such loose pants. i'm sexy the way i am :D

my mom says never to use shampoo every day. use it maybe twice a week. put olive oil in your hair before swimming and an hour before going to the shower. my dad's over 40 and has all his hair, and in fact even my grandparents had a lot of their hair.

Heck, slang has evolved in English. I guess I'd prefer english because I can understand the slang. "Oh, I'm sorry I bumped into you!" "'Sor-ite!"<------- pronounce as is. apparently quick slang for "its all right". "Wanna talk about poop?" "Tha-eck?"<-----apparently slang for "what the heck?" the "what" was almost totally taken out, and the "tha" and "eck" are almost merged together. These are just 2 examples. yea, we're spoiled. we can say anything and can be perfectly understood. Feel sorry for any new immigrant who has to put up with the slang.

True, but I knwo from past elections that the advertisments is chosen over popularity. Some of the most popular kids in jr. high who were running were pwnt in the elections because of someone with an ad that made people laugh.

In my school, sex ed began in fifth grade. We didn't learn the consequences till 6th grade. If I was totally horny at that age, I'd probably be going at it as well. Obviously, if its so easy to just "accidently" forget to tell kids "and by the way you'll go to jail if you do it too young and you may put the girl in shock if she gets pregnant" there's not only something wrong with the kids but also with the teachers.

I agree with tigra on everything. The parents leave their kids and go to a resteraunt to eat. selfish, didn't want to bring the noisy brats along. Now mommy prays for safe return, when before she was totally willing to leave them for a resteraunt. Its amazing how women change their minds in a blink of an eye, eh?

About the question: I'm in a k-8 grade school. Most people look for comedy, which is why I want a funny campaign banner. And the catchy slogan: uhh... in my school those rhymes ain't the most popular any more. besides, to put it in a poster, what Am I gonna draw? that funny loomking old asian man that appears in ads on these forums? Yea, I think teh nursery woudl be helpful. In my area, there are a hell of a lot of weeping willows. They look majestic (and are perfect for a first kiss \ ), but never plant them in an area where u have to mow.

Greedy... Were there any serious problems caused? Did someone die? Don't think so. I've seen worse CRIMINAL cases with less money in the lawsuit than this pair of pants thing. The judge should be ashamed. An immigrant family coems to start a new life? what do they get? big fat fine for 65million. It'd take centuries of dry cleaning to pay it off. That judge gets paid a ton for being a judge, and isn't satisfied? He's a disgrace to america. Off with his head!
