  1. Maybe he's dead and reincarnated as this little kiddo. Or maybe Democratic Sen. Edward Kennedy of Massachusetts, Republican Rep. Don Young of Alaska and Democratic Rep. John Lewis of Georgia ate his soul and now are spies for the terrorists.
  2. I like to do nothing for extended periods of time. It's not really productive, but I don't complain.
  3. Discuss whether or not soundtracks belong in adult films. Some people say music distracts them and they can't fully focus and having a lame musical number playing accentuates the corniness of the already flimsy plot and dialogue. Others like it and say it adds to the atmosphere and helps to set the mood and say you shouldn't be focusing on the the plot and dialogue anyways. There you go-a topic and a beginning to both sides.
  4. Pwning noobs since the 1970's. I salute.
  5. Why wouldn't we look at causes and motives? You're talking about killing in general which includes taking the life of another person under any circumstances ever. Too me that seems to broad of a topic. No. They agree because the person committed a horrible crime and in their view deserves the punishment. People are punished because it's what they deserve because they did something to deserve it. Billions of other people are born and never kill anybody.
  6. According to all the recent polls I found, the percentage of Americans who favor the right to abortion ranges from around 50% to higher. Obviously everybody's not fine since there's protests over his death.
  7. Actually, as far as I know it costs more money to execute somebody then it does to keep them in prison. If that's still correct then if money was really the issue we would keep him in jail.
  8. Execution isn't the only option but it is a viable one.
  9. It's the Japanese business version of "Field of Dreams"..."If you make it...they will buy".
  10. They didn't tell "everybody", they told her parents. And as far as not telling her parents, is it not possible that it might not have been avoidable? I mean we are talking about the fact that the daughter was repeatedly disciplined which would usually lead a parent to ask for some sort of explanation. Were the parents completely uninterested and had the information forced on them? Did they ask no questions? It seems this is the only point left to discuss so we need some sort of documentation about how the conversation went down. I'll repeat this though just to be clear: If there is proof that the school officials told her parents she was a homosexual out of spite for the girl and there's proof that she was actually discriminated against, I have no problem agreeing with her. I'm arguing the available facts, not my opinion of the girl.
  11. What people seem to be forgetting is that in a case like this it doesn't matter what somebody's opinion is. In this case each of the school officials that are being sued and the Board of Education are going to have to pay compensatory, general, punitive, exemplary, and statutory damages. Now I don't know exactly what all of that means but I know that's a lot of damages to being paying for. And on top of that they will have to pay the plaintiff's cost, expenses, and attorney fees. And with allegations as serious as these, the school officials involved can lose their jobs. And if you lose your job over something as serious as this you're going to have a hard time finding another one. You see: people could be losing a ton of money and people's lives can possibly be ruined over this. If somebody shows me proof that is solid enough to warrant all of this then i'll agree with her. But when something as serious as this could happen, a simple "I think" or "I don't like that" does not excuse some stubborn girl who's suing because she's mad that she can't have her way. That bolded part is for people who seem to think that disagreeing with a homosexual person makes you a homophobe.
  12. And after you do that you can include role playing, sub-plots, and a number system.
  13. Is there a transcript of the conversation between the parents and school officials anywhere? How exactly did the information of the girls sexual orientation come across? Did they just call her parents into the office and say, "hey guess what you're daughters a homosexual"? Did the parents ask who she was engaging with? I mean if the only point you have left is that they didn't have to tell her, then i'd like to know how they did tell her.
  14. I'm going with mario for influence. I could go with sonic for coolness or pokemon for impact or pong for mind numbing entertainment but if you include pong you have to include tetris, and tetris is completely uninspiring. So the original mario.
  15. How do paper, scissors, and a sponge beat air? How does anything besides a vaccum beat air?
  16. I don't know what's funnier: All the stuff she made him do or the fact that he almost got away and then admitted to it. Either way that was hilarious.
  17. Right...so I went and did a little research and found the information for the right school. You're School: Corona-Norco Unified School District Santiago High School 1395 Foothill Pkwy Corona, CA 92881 The Right School: Garden Grove Unified School District Santiago High School 12342 Trask Ave, Garden Grove 92843 (There pretty close though, so I guess that's an honest mistake). Here is the Garden Grove Unified School District website: http://www.ggusd.k12.ca.us/schools.asp Under the High School section you go to Santiago, which brings you to this website: http://www.ggusd.k12.ca.us/shs/index.asp From there you go to the top to the information section and go down to the policies section and finally to the Displays of Affection, which brings you here: http://www.ggusd.k12.ca.us/shs/index.asp?myInc=PDA And finally we have the Santiago High School in the Garden Grove Unified School District's policy on displays of affection: And as stated somewhere earlier in this topic, the Garden Grove Unified School District allows the high school principle to decide what is and what is not appropriate.
  18. I doubt that. Even if it's true you can't compare an Australian private school to an American public school. You can't make a particular aspect of your life public, draw attention to it by repeatedly denying the authority of the ruling body, and then complain when it is no longer as private as you would like. (Well obviously you can since that is what she's doing, but you can't logically expect that). As of right now, all the available information points to the fact that she was asked to abide by the same rules as everybody else. She got stubborn and repeatedly broke the rules. The parents were then informed of their child's repeated discipline problems. Somewhere in there, the school LEGALLY informed the parents of the specific details (which the girl had already made public). The girl sued with no legal grounds but because of the fact she had enough support from enough people who were willing to overlook the fact that she is at fault, her suit succeeded. It would be stereotypical to lump all minorities into this particular way of acting, but in this specific case she is a minority member who is lobbying for special rights with no legal basis. If someone provides sufficient proof that she was discriminated against I will gladly switch sides and support her cause.
  19. Seeing as how i've never even heard of Putfile i'll go ahead and join the boycott.
  20. Just a little hint: trying to justify brutal murder usually doesn't do too much to help your cause.
  21. Could be the way you slept like your skin getting pinched or something. Happens to me occassionally.
  22. Athletes are paid as much as they are because of the tremendous amount of people that watch sports. The public glorifies atheletes, the public makes them heroes, and the public is the reason why they are able to make so much money. Yes I think their overpaid but the only people to blame for their bloated salaries is the people who watch the sports.
  23. I never believed in Santa. My parents always told me they had X amount of money to spend and asked me what I wanted.
  24. My favorite life lesson comes from R.W.E. --All life is an experiment.
  25. Me being the non-gamer that I am, I only see 2 totally unrelated video game characters in 2 totally unrelated games that are on 2 different systems. That and the fact that I think Shadow the Hedgehog was released a week or 2 earlier than Bulletproof, i'm gonna say that I think it's just 1 coincidental similar pose.
