  1. The event and the quest are two separate things. You will still have to be there to get the item, but the quest will always be available to members.
  2. because they wont take of their cape...(=their fault) this is stupid, really go to target get a job there for 2 hours and you can buy about 3 month in rs credit! for 2 hours of work!...anyway to the other statment "Plus, I'd like to think that Jagex is kind enough to give a little to its loyal players that have stuck around long enough to get a 99 skill." really the whole 2 months(at a small amount a day) of cooking it would take to get 99 and "deserve" a cape....maybie if you have all f2p 99's then jagex could consider offering you a month or so membership to get you capes...other than that...it $5, really? 1. There's a reason why people like me can't just buy members. Some have school, some have restrictive parents, and others just don't want to be member again, among other things. Plus, you're idea of getting a job at Target is impractical. I won't get a job just to get $15. 2. Cooking requires money. Time is required to get money. I think the total time required to get 99 cooking is more than 2 months. Also, getting a 99 requires a certain amount of dedication. I think the "whole 2 months(at a small amount a day)" that a person takes to get that cooking cape gives him the right to "deserve" a cape.
  3. PvP is here! Awesome! Too bad I can't 4-item like all the other mains \ Well, atleast I won't get yelled at.
  4. The last one I swear wasn't D Plate but that really seriously is not Dragon Chainbody, unless it's corrupted? I don't know what they look like tbh... When I first saaw that picture, I thought immediately that had to be a corrupted dragon chain. When I looked at the Knowledge Bases guides on the PvP worlds, however, it said that the Corrupted Dragon items are only faded in color. It doesnt mention that they look any different besides color :/ I dont know... EDIT: Ok, I dont know about this or not, but if you wear a chain, do your regular clothes you have on show through? Because if it does, that might be a dragon chain with a red long sleeved shirt on. If it is, that would be pretty deceptive of Jagex to do that... #-o No, it does not show through. I actually have pics on my old computer if you really want proof. People really don't want to believe that this is a Dragon Plate. I mean, Jagex even said that they would be dropping hints about the new quest.
  5. True that, but seriously? Unless the plate is worn by some uber NPC or the quest opens up an UBER area with SUPER UBER monsters, I think D Plate won't come together with quest. Why? 1) The quest itself, as You and Jagex has said, will be huge. Why put in another huge update with it? Rather save it for next dramatically huge release. 2) There is no way on earth the plate is going to be reward. Next thing you know, chain's price will fall really low. My estimation, lower than 2 mill, if that. On the other hand... 1) What better way to release the Dragon Platebody, which we have been dreaming of ever since dragon armor came out, with the biggest quest of all time? 2) The price of D Chains will drop to where their combat stats lie. Between Rune and Barrows.
  6. Looks like everyone was so excited about pvp wolds that they logged in right away. I'm suprised no ones posted this. Getting closer to looking at the front of it.
  7. Are you talking about giving f2p skill capes? No, I don't support that.
  8. Ah, the MSSW. I've always wanted to do it. I've always had something come up. And now that my schedule is finally free? My skill cape thwarts me yet again.
  9. That's how trimming works  Wow, I did not know that. Which means I can trim my fm cape without getting members again! \
  10. Congrats on 5 99's and trimmed hp cape! Off-topic: Wait, so it'll get trimmed automatically when you get you're second 99?
  11. Maybe they'll take second place in the christmas poll and make a halloween version of it. Could someone check what got second place? I think it was the Ice Sword or something.
  12. The Login Pin is totally optional, just like the bank pin.
  13. I believe that it will have the reverse effect. There are some people that will lose their cape or accidently take it off and pay one month of members to get it back. However, I think that most people would not get into a position to lose their cape. The number of people that would pay that one month to get their cape back would be much smaller than the number of f2p players that would pay that one month that would be encouraged to get skill capes and the many f2p that already have 99 skills but don't want to deal with the hassles that this update would fix. Plus, I'd like to think that Jagex is kind enough to give a little to its loyal players that have stuck around long enough to get a 99 skill.
  14. Maybe a separate and better set of plate legs? I think it would be alittle weird that everything else you wear would be 40(?)M+ and plate legs are dirt cheap.
  15. This would also encourage non-members with 99 skills but don't want to deal with the hassles of wearing a skill cape to get that one month of membership to get it.
  16. Could you please redo it and save it as a png file?
  17. Aren't these pics suppose to be HD? Or is that optional?
  18. I was going to join the 100 archers vs 100 warriors event, but blue capes were required. They did offer an exception for me, but this is one of the situations that this update would be useful. Click the link in my sig to check it out.
  19. Runescape requires you to wait to hop worlds anyway. There is no reason the login pin should slow you down.

  21. 1. Yes, the blue cape is required. 2. You can take a Steel Sword AND Steel 2h. 3. Yes, and if you want you can take a Steel 2h as well. [/hide] Oh, then I can't join. I'm f2p and I have a skill cape that I would like to keep on. I'll just watch then. Everyone have fun  Oh I see. Well, I'll make an exception! ;) No, it's fine. I'd feel bad if you had make an exception just for me. And I'd feel out of place with a bright orange cape surrounded by a sea of blue. I'm totally ok with just watching. Lol, this is exactly the sort of thing my skill cape suggestion would fix. The link is in my sig if you want to check it out ;)
  22. Yeah, I agree that we're overdue for a health bar upgrade. -Support-
  23. [hide=] 1. Everyone have fun
  24. I think it's a dragon plate just because Jagex actually said it would be dropping hints about the new quest. And I actually like these kind of easter-egg-sorta things. Nothing is clear because we don't have the full view of it.
