Went to a store today to buy some new jandals and a few new shirts. Guy at the check out asks me "Do you play NBA or something? You're freaking tall". Yes, I play professional basketball that is played in the States in New Zealand. Makes perfect sense.

Yeah, you're probably right. It just...never felt like it was the right time for that, I guess. There is never a real 'right' time to kiss someone. You won't ever experience any of the shit you see in the movies. You'll know exactly when it's time to kiss the girl, and when you know; do it. Wait, if there's never a 'right' time than how do you know when it's time? There isn't a right time, but instead when it feels right to you.

First time at the gym for 3 months, since rowing is finally over. Doing the Starting Strength program, which is 5x5 for each exercise. Didn't do much weights to get back into it, but my legs and chest are still sore from working out two days ago... I've missed that feeling :)

The only thing that annoy's me about this is that yesterday, people wouldn't have given two shits about kids in Uganda. Now that it's become big, they are all jumping in on the bandwagon and supporting it. I know you can argue that they didn't know that this was happening before, but still.

When you're at an intersection where you can turn left or right onto a road, and there is clearly enough space for two cars to be next to each other and be able to turn at the same time, but people still sit in the god damn middle, so you have to wait for them before anyone else can go.

Tell me, have I ruined my chances with this girl? Was just hanging out with her, her friend had mentioned that she liked me. So we are just sitting, chilling, she says she's cold and I do the gentlemen thing of putting my around her as this is usually what they mean when they say it. She then suggests pretty much straight away that she reckons it would be warmer out of the wind, so we move. I get this means that she wasn't comfortable. Then at the end when I said goodbye, we hugged. As she is quite a bit shorter than me, I had to bend down. I was going to put my arms under hers, but she looked like she was going to do it the other way because of my height. She then tells me not to "child hug" her because it makes her feel like a child, which I didn't mean to do. I offered that we should do it again but she just said no. I'm not really happy about this, I feel bad. Is she actually not interested or?

You can leave when you want during the day? Lucky, we're still expected to turn up to all classes. We can't even leave when we have study period before/after lunch, although we can go home early and and come to school late with it, which is nice.

Just read the second Hunger Games. It was pretty good, looking forward to the third now. Bit of a change, but I'm going to start reading Gone Tomorrow by Lee Child. My dad has at least 40 of those kinda books, by the likes of Tom Clancy, Clive Clussler, and a few others. So if I get into them I have reading material for a good few years.

TBH, I don't even care about it's significance. It's a day off school for me.
