There, if anyone goes slightly off-topic they get a mod editing their post and writing SPAM INFRACTION ISSUED in big bold red text. And for every "broken rule" that happens with different writing based on the rule. Everyone is so uptight there. I love the moderation here, just the right amount of stuff allowed.

If he expects you to be quiet/not be in the room during his 14 hours of sleep, I'd say that sucks real bad. If he leaves you alone to do your own thing, find some new friends and hang in their rooms all the time. Yeah, it's not like he minds me doing stuff while he's sleeping, it's just so boring. I need to find some people to hang out with.

I'm trying to be positive about my roommate, but seriously, all this guy does is sleep 14 hours a day, go to class, and watch anime.

I like my English professor. He's a total bro and real friendly to everyone, and the required textbook for the class is his own book, so he put it up as a PDF and it only costs us whatever the price of ink and paper for 75 sheets is. Much less than a college textbook.

Pretty much And then the Bay Area gets hit with a 3.6 not too long ago from now. East Coast sharing their earthquake with us in the West Coast? <3: I was watching the news earlier, and this one woman who lived in NYC for 30 years now said she has never felt an earthquake until today. Except NYC has had its share of earthquakes within those 20 years; small mind you, but still. o.O I guess she was just "lucky" up to now not to feel any. XD The Bay Area one was a cute widdle quake :3

Today was my first class, Precalculus. Was told we have to take a Math Readiness Test online to check if we have sufficient knowledge to be in the class and not the basic math course. I was scared as [cabbage] because I haven't done math since sophomore year in high school, but luckily the test wasn't timed and was on the internet, so I looked up everything I didn't know how to do or remember how to do and got a 31/38, which is an 81 or so when we needed a 70 to pass. And the only reason I missed those other 7 is because manual input answers with fractions are REALLY wonky on the system and it has to be exactly how the site wants it done. My professor warned us that we're gonna hate it until we learn it, and he was right. But right now, IDGAF, I passed and can be in the class.

Got a package alert and thought it was my messenger bag I ordered, sadly it wasn't. Turns out it was a "Freshman welcome package" from the school so I was like "ahh whatever". Got back to my room and opened it, box is filled to the brim with snacks. [hide][/hide]

My roommate finally showed up to stay. He would have been here last night but I guess he missed the last bus and had to sleep at the bus station with a bunch of homeless people.

I've never been a fan of Docs. The soles look bad to me.

Today during dinner I was sitting there eating and a large woman-ish thing with a faint moustache sat next to me. Made polite conversation, then she started flirting with me. Finished my food quickly and then left, but not before she tried to get me to add her on Facebook. I just told her I didn't have one. Then as I'm walking back to my room this super cute little redhead girl passed by and gave me a smile and a wave and then ran off quickly to her friends. WHY COULDN'T THEY HAVE BEEN SWITCHED? Still a stupid, missed opportunity by me. Now I'll make sure it doesn't happen again

I'm waiting on a messenger bag I ordered to ship in since Wednesday. It's coming from the UK but I have no idea how long that usually takes. Hopefully it gets here tomorrow so I have it for the first day of class.

Did you have to call in to cancel your Xbox Live Gold membership? Cause I really wish there was an easier way of doing it online or something. I want mine cancelled to. Well, by "cancelled", I mean I'm not buying a card to refill and letting it run out in a few days. Only spending on game-related things for the semester will be buying Skyrim. Everything else I'm saving/using for essentials.

Look at the positive aspects of every situation and force yourself to not pay attention to any negative aspects. Start thinking of yourself better, whether it be looks or personality. Believe you're a better and happier person and you will be.
