Speaking of packing, my finals schedule is annoying as hell. Had a final Monday and my next two are this Friday. So instead of packing last weekend and taking off Monday afternoon, I'm spending today, tomorrow, and Thursday attempting to pack but still leave myself clothes and things to do until Friday when i take off. So now all I've packed are my printer, clothes (except for the next few days), and miscellaneous crap. I want to pack up my xbox and my records but I don't want to sit here for 3 days with nothing but a comptuer either. Something just bothers me about only have some things packed.

Should be interesting, I'm really only going because tickets were free and my girlfriend is obsessed with K-Pop. But I have no objections to watching a bunch of hot asian women dance around in skimpy outfits all night. It will also be my first "stadium" concert.

First final today, then a break over the next two days in which I will pack up my dorm. Finals Thursday and Friday morning, then an 8 hour drive home right after my Friday final. Feels good to nearly be done with my freshman year.

I find it pretty easy to find new bands and albums that I enjoy. But I follow tons of music blogs and reviewers, so I end up listening to so much music I'm bound to like something.

Hip-Hop isn't something I've delved too much into, but i've downloaded things people tell me are "the greatest" and also found some things I like. here's what I have so far. Also, Nas's Illmatic was the most overhyped hip-hop album I've ever listened to it. Tried 3 times, found nothing to draw me in and make me want to come back to it, deleted it.

I took it 2 years ago, before they changed how the multiple choice worked, and it wasn't that bad. They give you a lot of leniency in the FRQs, and they give you points for anything they possibly can. Like, even if you just wrote down a formula but used it incorrectly, they might give you points.

Eh, don't care at all, and I LOVED Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim, like more than 100 hours into each game loved. No game is worth buying and then paying additional $15 per month, which is likely for this. My money can be better spent elsewhere.

As for school cost, I pay around $20K per year. That's for tuition, classes, room and board. That doesn't count anything else like books though.

Adam Yauch (MCA of the Beastie Boys) passed away today. Really sad, the Beastie Boys were the group that got me into hip-hop, I've been listening to them since I was like 5, and I still consider them one of the greatest.

Eh, apparently my insurance works only at independent place, big places like Lenscrafters no longer cover it. Only place in the mall I know is expensive because they have Gucci, Prada, all that stuff for glasses. I'll go in and see if i can find some I like anyway. I'm partial to the Aviator and Clubmaster style of sunglasses, so there might be a pair I can afford and like.

Try the Transitions, I just got a pair a while back and their nice to have. Takes about 2 minutes for them to adjust, and they do it so gradually that you don't notice anything is changed outside. Only downside, it takes a couple minutes to change back, and depending on the sun that could leave you next to blind. Really hate transitions, they never get dark enough and change pretty slowly, along with the fact that something about them i just unflattering to look at. Also I already have prescription glasses. I'll look into Ray-Ban's different styles and see if there's something I like.

I've got $150 towards sunglasses thanks to insurance, and I'm finally gonna buy my first prescription pair. Any recommendations?

This. Pick somewhere you're going to enjoy and where you can get out. If I'm in my dorm for longer than a few days I start go go crazy. My biggest worry is that I'll fall into depression while I'm there so I do need a place where I can take a walk or a bike ride. I guess I will choose Nottingham but I'm so unfamiliar with the area. Has anyone here gone to a college/university in an unfamiliar city? Yeah. Lived in a quiet town in Southern California with nothing to do my whole life, then moved to San Francisco for school. Big change, but the best decision I've ever made.

Yeah, I'd love to know exactly what you did to screw yourself out millionaire status and 10 girlfriends in 5 minutes :blink: Adding up over time, seriously looking back on things I have freaking 40/40 hindsight and I think 5 minutes would give me just enough to let it kick in. What's up mate? Just life and some serious things I realise now, that I wish I had realised at the time.... Your ambiguity resembles a teenage girl looking for attention on Facebook.

I want to tell you not to start sentences with 'and' but I can't remember if that's still a thing anymore. That's something you're commonly taught in high school, but it isn't a real rule. People do it all the time. And you're able to. They just teach that to make things simpler, people use and to start sentences all the time. Kinda like how everyone is taught that all essays have to be 5 paragraphs and your thesis has to have the 3 topics of the body paragraphs in it (or at least in my school that's what every teacher taught).

If you soak them every once in a while they are like regular jeans, minus the washing machine damage. @Bonez: if you don't see the point in dressing well you're missing something... He's like 14 though, so I guess that's normal. I don't know a single 14 year old who dresses well. Most people I know don't even get interested in dressing well until they're out of high school.
