Never saw the first one, and I know I'm going to be disappointed by it because it's so hyped up that it can't possibly be that good.

They almost always fail, it's inevitable, even the ones that seem like they'll last (my father started dating my mother his senior year, her sophomore year, got married, had kids, yet still split up after 13 years because they felt they hadn't lived their life correctly) But they're a good thing and something you should try and take part in, because it gives you experience. My junior year I was in a pretty lame relationship with this girl for 9 months. Her parents were the strict Asian type and couldn't know about me and we could only see eachother during school, and we had a bad break-up after she graduated and was free to move to college and do what she wanted. But it got me experience in a relationship so I wouldn't act like an idiot in my next one, and it was totally worth it - my current relationship started off perfectly because I wasn't so nervous like my first one.

This... Trying to ask a girl out for the first time while being scared <3: less and a chronic procrastinator for my entire life, mind you I am only 14 but I still hate it being so... Oh, and hindsight 20/20, the girl I am talking about likes, or liked me at the start of the school year, so I figure I just need to get my <3: together and grow a pair and just do it... Just man up and do it dude, you're 14 it's not like the relationship will last for 30 years and you'll get married and live happily ever after and your whole life depends on it.

Procrastination will be the end of me. It's 4:30 A.M. now and I have to turn my terrible rough draft into a great final draft by 9AM. I mean, I can afford to fail one paper and still pass with an A since my teacher grades by improvement, but still.

I was thinking of posting this in the Style thread, but I figured more people view this one. Does anybody know about the quality of Moleskin products? I know they make the notebooks and they're super popular, but expensive. Anyways, I have a chance to get a Moleskin backpack or messenger bag for $60, brand new, but I'm not sure if they're actually GOOD. Like, I checked it out, it's brand new, and it looks really nice, but it feels a bit thin, and I've had bad luck with thin bags. But everyone I know says they make great quality products. I looked and can't find any reviews at all.

    What is Ableton? http://www.ableton.com/
  7. Maleficus1055 replied to Leoo's topic in Off-Topic
My school bookstore was having a massive clearance sale, and Ableton was marked down from like $400 to $50, so I grabbed that. Then at the register, since I'm on the school bookstore's free rewards program, they took 60% OFF of that, so I walked away with a the complete Ableton box for $20. Now I can do something productive with my time.
  8. I read the book the day beforehand and thought it was a good book with a terrible ending (I don't care about the romance aspect at all) Saw the movie at the midnight premiere and thought it was great, I liked how they insert parts such as the riot scene and keep showing the president so you know there will be a second movie. The movie ending was much better than the book, totally worth a view.

You don't need money. Get a cheap pair of running shoes and go running every day and do some situps and pushups every day.

Work out and get in shape. Or take up a useful hobby, like leathercrafting or something.

Be warned, it's a pretty mediocre aquarium. But it sounds like a neat place for a prom.
  12. If you ask me, you looked better as a kid. Hair suits you, and not on your chin. I'm not a fan of the current glasses either, but that's personal preference.

Eh? Apart from the fact that there is some kind of tournament, I see practically no connection to the Goblet of Fire...also, if you say terrible ending...have you read all 3 books? Kids competing in a bloody tournament, very similar to it. No, just the first and it had a shitty ending. I've heard the third has a really bad ending too, not sure if I'll read it.

Got around to reading The Hunger Games today. Why does everyone love it so much? It's okay, but it's basically a bloody version of The Goblet of Fire with a terrible ending.
  16. What has Andrea ever done? I like her and glad she didn't die. Shot the only competent character in their group. Has dumb opinions about suicide. This. It was the suicide thing that really pissed me off. "Oh yeah just let her die she's just your sister"
  17. Wish they killed Andrea. I want her and Carol dead, they already killed Shane. Then I won't hate any characters. This new girl is a [bleep]ing badass.

I used to post much more frequently than I do now. Mostly due to school, this place will get busier again during summer as always.
  19. Foreign languages. I was on the bus yesterday and this girl was speaking French, it was awesome.
  20. Recent? That place has always been terrible. "LOL I'LL MAKE A COMIC OF STUFF THAT HAPPENS TO EVERYONE AND PUT THESE SILLY FACES ON IT BECAUSE EVERYONE KNOWS THEY'RE HILARIOUS LOL GUYS LIKE ME I'M FOREVERALONE ME GUSTA TRUE STORY"

Got a free ticket to go to this tomorrow, it's gonna be awesome.
  22. So what do you guys think of Toms on guys? I currently own a pair of black Converse, a pair of brown leather desert boots, and some black dress shoes. I'm looking into getting some shoes for when it's sunny out, preferably a lighter color. Toms are cheap and don't seem too bad, I just don't know what style/color.
  23. A photo of me, was bored and didn't realise what I look like, I mean really I've never done anything that wasn't legal... Anyone else get a weird feeling when you realize how young some of the TIF users are? Feels like I've almost been here too long. I think it's the feeling that once I was that young and still a TIF member! Seems weird that my first posts here were when I was just 14 and now I'm 19. The feeling keeps getting worse... How old would you say the person in the photo is? 13, 14, maybe 15 at best?

Try driving to the soundtrack to The Venture Bros., by J.G. Thirlwell. You'll feel like you're in some kind of Western car chase the whole time.
