You mean you actually enjoyed the fun. album? That thing was [bleep]ing terrible, and I loved aim & ignite. It lost all the nice instrumentation and was replaced with autotune and drum kicks. That holds the place for the worst album I listened to this year. So far my favorites have been the new Alcest, Les Discrets, Air, and the Steinvord EP. Edit: And the new Cloud Nothings album was pretty nice too.

Got Bioshock 2 and Gears of War 3 recently as gifts. Never played and GOW before but I caught up on the story of the other two and started playing and I'm nearly done with the campaign, I really like it. Excited for Bioshock 2 as well since the first was one of my favorite games. I'm pretty slow on getting games, I like to wait until they drop in price.

Got flowers, chocolate, and a shirt my girlfriend had been eyeing for her, and I'll swing by her dorm after class to give it to her. Unfortunately, the red guardian is denying access at this point in time.

There's a girl in my friend group who claims to be fluent in Japanese. So when we went to Japantown we all used their big photo booth things thinking we could get her to just read the instructions for us. Then we find out she doesn't actually understand it. She can just read it but she has no idea what anything means. She made a huge fool out of herself. I really don't like that girl and that only added to my dislike.

I leave back up to the city tomorrow, flight is at 7am. Im landing an hour before my girlfriend, giving me time to wrap her Christmas present (we didnt see each other over break at all), and then Im meeting her sister/brother in law who are taking us out to lunch and back to school. SO excited, I missed being in a place where there was actually something to do, I really missed my girlfriend, and I kinda missed school. Now that I'm not taking math this semester I think I'll really enjoy it. I also sold off excess Magic cards today and made $60, gonna go record shopping on Wednesday. Got a guy on craigslist interested in buying one of my saxes, so I have another potential 200 coming my way, which will hopefully hold me over while I'm job hunting.

My parents refuse to take me anywhere other than Supercuts for a haircut, and as a result I get a shitty haircut. Ugh.

Ordered an album and two (free) v-neck shirts. Pretty average day aside from that, tomorrow I'm going to watch Star Wars at a friend's place. Going back up to SF on Sunday when break ends, so excited to see my girlfriend again. A month apart has been rather difficult.

[/hide] Discussing random things with my girlfriend and got on the topic of her sister's wedding and she's going on about how she wants one just like it, apparently it cost about $30,000 and that's normal for a wedding. I seriously thought weddings were like......maybe $3000-4000 and that would be excessive, for something super fancy. [bleep]ing ridiculous. How can anyone justify spending that much money on a single day? I don't care how much I love my future wife, there's no way I'm spending thirty grand on a ceremony that lasts one day.

Those are probably scam emails, they aren't actually from jagex. Just to serve as an FYI; tip.it's emails served as a directory for mailing lists when it was compromised. Did you read what was said in the offenses, Army? Not really just kind of opened them, read something about my account being compromised, and deleted them.

[hide=No Runescape in my OT] Got bored, decided to play some Scape. Found out I couldn't log in. Checked the highscores and my name is gone. I just sent in an appeal and hopefully I get my account back, I'm pretty sad. I mean I haven'y played in months, but I worked hard for years on that account. I had 5 99s and was nearing my 6th (98 HP) and I had like 90 Herblore and shit. And then I checked my Spam folder and found messages from Jagex saying first my account received a RWT offense and then was perma-banned. So even if I get it back I have to pass the appeals. I don't understand HOW people can get my account info after not playing or entering my password for it for 6 months. [/hide]

What are your opinion on anchovies? I ordered some on my pizza yesterday and my friends looked at me like I'm crazy, I guess they're all disgusted by them. I've been having them on pizza since I was a kid, I love it. One of them even went as far as to say "Nobody likes anchoives, the only people who do are hipsters pretending they like them to try and impress people". My friends are retarded.

I've never understood what people mean by hipster. Like, isn't the entire definition of hipsters being people that shy away from the mainstream trends? In that case, there is no "hipster style" because once you classify it, it's a thing and it's mainstream and they wouldn't be hipsters anymore. Then again, I don't think anyone actually knows what a hipster is. Like, after graduating high school I started dressing better (rather than black t-shirts and jeans, I started wearing well-fitting button-down shirts and nice jeans/pants and better shoes). When I came to visit my friends everyone was like "OH MAN YOU'RE SUCH A HIPSTER" because I decided I wanted to dress better. It makes no sense to me.

I always thought it was Muh-leh-fih-kuss, but then someone pointed out it was spelled Male-Ficus and that was what surprised me. And now you go by Boros, which I've always pronounced in my head as "Burr-Ohs" I've always said Bore-Ohs in my head, but I'm not sure cause I've never heard the official pronunciation. It's a clan from MtG lore.

All my friends in high school are back at school and in colleges around my home city are all starting tomorrow. I don;t have to go back up to school until the 22nd, I'm gonna be bored out of my mind.

Today I went to Long Beach swapmeet with my dad to help him sell. Unfortunately we had a slow day so I only made $20 out of it. I did score some good albums while walking around though. Found The Velvet Underground - White Light/White Heat, Jethro Tull - Aqualung, and Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin II on vinyl and Death From Above 1979 - You're a Woman, I'm a Machine on CD, all in decent shape, for $1 a piece. Now I'm anxiously waiting until spoilers for the next Magic set start in 30 minutes.
