  1. I'm all for a set of trimmed rune armor. (That is, rune (t))
  2. I thought the idea of the skill cape was that it would display your proficiency in that skill, for the less-easily noticed disciplines - i.e. cooking, woodcutting, etc. (any non-combat skill). At this point, I get a tad confused why it would bother the skill cape owners that others would notice an item which is largely to display the fruits of one's hard work in a skill. A rare item at that, for which curiosity and interest in seems hard to fault. But I don't have one, so I don't have the firsthand experience of what it's like -- just some thoughts.
  3. Like many others, I have a [small] hobby of collecting tools and odd items. I'm working on tinderboxes, frog tokens, chef hats, and chisels -- besides the obvious collection of coins. I'm just under 100 tinderboxes, 14 chisels, 30-some chef hats and 5 frog tokens -- but that's just in two months. I'll work on it :D
  4. I too have to agree with all said. That kind of generalization is just inaccurate -- and it can't be forgotten that many members started out free-to-play.
  5. I'm all for it. Rules on "relationships" are only natural if the game's got an extensive language filter in it.
  6. I'm surprised right click reporting isn't already in the game right now. It's a great idea that would actually make it possible to report a macroer with an all number name -- before he runs off and you don't get down the random sequence of numerals.
  7. I'm absolutely all for increasing the free-to-play bank size. Free players may have six less skills, but I still find it a bit unreasonable to figure that they only need a quarter of the space that members do. I'm always running up to the very limits of my bank space, and my character's not even three months old yet -- I can only imagine what kind of bank space pinch free players of two, three and greater years are in.
  8. Thirded! At first glimpse, the '06 festive hat looked like some absurdly large-horned Freemennik helm -- then it turned out they were antlers, and there was a red nose piece to it. Mine now sits in the bank, likely to go unworn for a large amount of time. Being my first R.S. holiday, and learning of the 2005 hats and scarves...I have to say it was a bit of a letdown. Ah well, so begins the hope for next year? :o
  9. Presently, a search for "Sir Zilfilad" brings up my high scores and some forum postings -- no mention outside of RuneScape = no search results outside of RuneScape :?
  10. Hey folks. I used to play what is now RuneScape Classic years ago one summer, working to 66 fishing (Sir Aaad) -- then lost interest, and quit to focus on school. Evidently now i've decided it's time to waste time again -- but i've been forced to go with a new character, Sir Zilfilad. He's on his way back, playing since 11 October 2006 -- and i'm back here, as I was with my old RS character years ago. As of 20 December 2006 my total level is at triple-7 (yes, that's 777) in free-to-play -- but one day, I intend to pay.
