I can't give an exact number, but I personally never had a tree take more than 48 hours.

This happens to me often when I re-enter a purchase. It also happens when I re-list items for sale (they aren't selling, but sell instantly when I re-list at the same price).

No problem, I am always happy to prosyletize! I got 99 mage off String Ammy, and loved it. :) The nice thing about the spell is that the resulting strung ammies can be resold to the Rogue trader (unlocked after Summer's End). Just note the ammies and use them on him and you can recoup a lot of your costs.

83 per cast, so 2241 xp per invo.

It's actually much less boring, because the spell casts itself automatically until you run of of unstrung ammies in your inventory. You just equip a mud staff, have a stack of astrals in the bank, and fill up with 27 unstrung ammies. Click the spell once, and it'll cast itself 27 times automatically. So you end up clicking a lot less compared to alching or planking.

I used plain gold ammies, as these were the cheapest to buy in bulk on the GE. Luckily, the mage xp doesn't depend on the type of ammy used.

When I used String Ammy intensively (end of 2008), I averaged 134k xp per hour, at a loss of around 3.5-4 gp per xp (with selling the resulting ammies to the Rogue trader guy; ~6 gp/xp otherwise). I can't help on Plank Make, but I do recommend String Ammy! :)

Oak doors would be oak dungeon doors, available at level 74 I believe.

Unfortunately, you will have to remove the wall that's causing the obstruction (delete the adjoining room) or rebuild the study so the telescope is facing outwards.

At 76 Hunter, I get around 80-90k xp per hour at red sals. At my rate, it would take ~17-18 hours to get from 67 to 80 Hunter.

I've been using the Fire gloves successfully for months. Maybe they didn't work when they first came out, but do now?

Argh, you're right. I meant "vambraces," not "gauntlets." Gauntlets do indeed work.

You only need gloves to pick nightshade/belladonna. For that, any gloves work, but gauntlets/bracelets do not. I believe the poison damage is 2, but I'm not 100% sure on that.
