"Legal Highs" and the anti-drugs legislation
If you read my post you'll notice I said nothing of the sort, nor did I imply it - stop twisting my words.

The validity of science.
No, methinks you are missing the point. If there is nothing to say the bible is wrong, there is nothing to say any other religion's holy book is wrong - meaning no one of them has any more validity than the last. One might as well roll a dice to decide how the earth came into existence. And fortunately that's not how truth works.

"Legal Highs" and the anti-drugs legislation
I see, so the fact that 26% of male deaths and 9% of female deaths can be attributed to smoking (according to the WHO) is insignificant? The prevention of that wouldn't make a difference?

The validity of science.
Precisely. It is your logic that makes no sense, Xlpmabsv. If you think that a) there is nothing to say the bible is wrong and B) that means it is valid, you must automatically accept the holy books of all religions as the truth. Which makes no sense. It is simple to everyone but you.

Looking to buy new surround sound speakers
Not the most helpful of posts (since I don't know about surround sound), but have you considered just getting an amp and some hifi speakers? I've been using that sort of setup for many years and I find it far better than a surround sound setup of similar price. Just because the quality of sound is so much higher. Then again it obviously doesn't do surround sound! I'm just saying it's something to consider, if you haven't already.

The validity of science.
Yes, there is. The other religions which are mutually exclusive. By your rationale there is nothing to say they are wrong either.

"Legal Highs" and the anti-drugs legislation
Haha, oh the irony. It's an expression, I don't genuinely believe the world will fall apart if drugs were ever legalised. I was just illustrating my belief of the improbability of what he said ever happening. Aren't you a mod? I thought you weren't meant to spam. He's not spamming at all. He's remarking that your post is ironic. Your post is ironic because you... ...Say the day drugs are legalised is the day the world ends ...Then accuse another of being naive. When it is, in fact, you that is naive because there are already legal recreational drugs. Alcohol. Tobacco. In other countries, like the Netherlands, drugs like Cannabis are legal - yet their society is hardly crumbling.

The validity of science.
Yeah, because the answers to those questions save lives. The bible only provides one of many different religious hypotheses as an answer to each of those questions. There is nothing to say your religion is right and others aren't, aside from the doctrines of your religion.

Games Based On Movies
I played it and didn't think much of it. It wasn't as bad as most movie games, or most console ports, but it was still pretty poor in my opinion.

Oblivion Colour Distortion
He didn't say anything about the colours being distorted outside of Oblivion. If it was magnetic interference it would affect the screen all the time - not just in a game. This would have been a 'colours distorted on my computer' thread, not a 'colours distorted in oblivion' thread.

9/11 Evidence?
We've been through the stone age, bronze age, the iron age, and now we're reaching the expos̮̩̉̉ journalism by teenagers on youtube age.

9/11 Evidence?
He's being sarcastic. If anyone doubts whether he's dead they could look at the autopsy pictures.

9/11 Evidence?
Don't forget that Tupac isn't dead, too.

~Supernatural~
Have you even bothered to read this topic? That's sleep paralysis accompanied by hypnagogia.

I'd like to see a boat that can hold at least 2 (7 in some cases) of each of 40 million species. It would have to be the size of a country. Except it was meant to be ~450' long.

songs you're ashamed of
Wham! - Freedom George Michael - Careless Whisper I REALLY like both of those. My mum played them when I was a baby. I also like: Lionel Richie - Hello Queen - I Want to Break Free

WINDOWS VISTA
Well I am a pedant and as such I couldn't let such an egregiously, nay, DANGEROUSLY ill-worded post slide without pointing out the flaws. That would not be upholding the pedant's charter and I could lose my accreditation should I be audited (and the auditors take pedantry to a new level). I was just pointing out that Macs and MACs aren't the same thing. I acknowledge that there are virtually no games for the Mac, but he did say any and there are some.

Last Games You Bought?
Yes, it's excellent. A nice scary game, though obviously still not as good as SS2.

Games Based On Movies
For every 1 in 1000 games based on movies, there is a good one. I think they should just save everyone the embarrassment and just not bother making games of movies. You KNOW that when a game comes out at the same time as the movie, it is going to be abysmal. The only good game from a movie that I can think of it Star Wars: Jedi Knight 2.

WINDOWS VISTA
There are games you can play on a Mac - World of Warcraft for instance. Do not confuse Mac (Macintosh) with MAC (Media Access Control - a sublayer of the data link layer of the OSI model - most commonly associated with an ethernet address, or MAC address).

Last Games You Bought?
Third quarter... And they said episodic content would get us more games to play more often...

Last Games You Bought?
I'd wager that most people will be buying it for Portal. That's the reason I am. I don't care so much for TF2 since I don't think anything can improve on TFC.

Last Games You Bought?
The last game I paid for was TBC. Before that, Oblivion. Before that, HL2. The next will be HL2:E2.

~Supernatural~
I shall don my pedant's cap for this: It's actually the hypnagogic state that causes visions and so on, not sleep paralysis. Sleep paralysis can, and normally does, occur around the same time (though it does not have to - one can experience hypnagogia without being paralysed). Hypnagogia is excellent. I assume it's the closest experience I'll ever get to taking acid. I've experienced it without the sleep paralysis when I've been listening to Pink Floyd, in a darkened room, on excellent headphones, whilst lying on my bed.

~Supernatural~
They aren't unanswered questions though. There are explanations. He saw a pregnant person in a vision - so what, I'd wager over a billion wake up each morning, remembering a dream from the night before. It doesn't mean any one of their dreams was supernatural though. People who are ill often suffer from hallucinations such as formication, however they can take many forms - all of which will seem equally realistic to the person experiencing them. They aren't unanswered questions. You are just not bothering to think about the answer.
